I'm not sure if I said it right in the title. Nor I'm not really sure about this thought. 

 

But of what the title says: Is it possible hearts can lead to someplace else after being locked with a Keyblade?

 

I just wonder about where Terra's heart could have gone, after Xehanort turned against his Keyblade, to get rid of Terra. Since we know where Terra's "Body" and his "Will" is... 

 

Does Xehanort still have Terra's heart in his possession or what? 

 

This video got me thinking. And it makes me wonder of HOW Aqua can save Terra. 

 

 

Master Xehanort tried to get rid of Terra's heart but did not succeed. Instead they then had to battle it out for control which we later on learn MX had control since they( Ansem and Xemnas) followed his plans. At the time of the split of AX Ansem and Xemnas were both created with traits of both of these guys.

 

After he tries to get rid of Terra's heart we see Xehanort and Terra's hearts talking and MX telling Terra that he knows someone else has stepped foot in his heart (Eraqus) and Terra promises to show him the door.

Like Flaming Lea mentioned, Terra still has his heart...it's just not under his control!  For now, old man Nort has full custody over Terra's heart, and until otherwise, that's how things will stay!  As for hearts going to another place, that's definitely an interesting thing to think about!  Aside from this whole conundrum with Terra, where do other hearts go when locked by a Keyblade?  Do they stay within the body, as is the case with Terra?  Or does the heart stray off to parts unknown?

Haha you never quite know with this series. It's completely possible.

There is a possibility that during revival both Terra and MX revived separately and that's why we see the old man in DDD revived.

 

Since MX's heart did not belong to Terra's body in the first place it's possible in the revival process the hearts went back to their proper correct bodies and Terra and MX were separately revived. To further complicate things, if Xemnas grew a heart himself Terra could've been automatically norted AGAIN upon revival still making him a vessel bc Xemnas was Terra's physical body and soul. What lousy luck 

 

If this were to happen I would imagine they could try fighting the nort heart off in the heart station as a possibility of saving Terra..
