I was recently replaying Dream Drop Distance and I kind of came up with this mini theory/random idea. In 3D Maleficent felt the change in the favour of darkness which was Xehanort returning and thus invaded Disney Castle, taking Minnie hostage in exchange for the datascape.
This makes me wonder will this have a smilier impact on disney villains in their individual worlds. For example, could Xehanort's return be a factor for Hades potentially releasing the Titans to attack the other Gods because he too has felt the shift in darkness?
If this is the case, then this could explain another reason why Sora is travelling the worlds again and could also mean each world would be a fierce challenge for Sora to protect the light?
Personally, I think it would be interesting if this either A) made the villains and the worlds more plot relevant rather B) To make the villains more of a challenging fight.

maybe I'm overthinking this
