Do you watch the trailers as soon as they are out?

Recommended Posts

Hi!I was wondering what people think about watching the trailers for the series once they come out.I used to want to have a complete black out of information so i could be completely surprised, however trailers were always an exception if i recall.

I kind of think if they are going to show it in an official trailer and its not a leak, they want us to see it anyway and it wont be a spoiler, but looking back at the IGN KH3D trailer towards the end they completely show the ending scenes (sorta) of 3d and though i still recall being surprised by that once i played it, it makes me wonder if i want to see the KH3 trailer incase they have any spoilers there too.Anyway! What's your opinion? I'd love to hear it as this has been floating around in my mind for quite some time now.-Victory

I see your point, I remember not wanting to watch KHDDD's trailers (and I think I only ended up watching one), but we've waited for KH3 for a decade, I actually want to see the trailer, they've given us a couple of videos, I don't think that's enough for this game. I'm also quite curious about this Nobody.

Welcome to the site, by the way!

Thank you for the welcome! Such a burning question, I knew I had to ask the true fans haha <3Yea I'm not actually sure what I did anymore, I'm trying to look back at old conversations to see if i ever mentioned watching the trailer at the time since i simply can't remember specifically what I did. What I THINK I did was watch the initial trailer and then avoid the others.I agree on that too,KH3 is a long time coming and for it to really feel real at this point I probably will want to watch the trailer. Gosh decisions decisions.

If were're talking Kingdom Hearts, yes. Any other game, no, I wait until my one friend bugs me about watching the trailer.

Yea I'm not  excited enough about most other games o wait out for their trailers either.

When i saw the new trailers for KH3 and KH 2.8, i instantly watch them.

I've been on the lookout quite vigilantly too! I suppose, like I said, if they didn't want us to know it, they wouldn't show it.

Im already veering away from my initial worry, i think the hype will be too much and ill just totally forget why i was worried to begin with haha!

That's what Kingdom Hearts hype does to us!  It makes us so excited that when the trailers hit, we're fawning over them instantly! :D

It depends on the series, I would watch KH ones I generally tend to forget the trailers content by the time I get to that point in the game, but for other series like MGS, I wouldn't since it's well known that so much of that is given away in the trailers.

Nope, I would rather experience everything for the first time when I actually get to play the game.

Im so torn now. that sounds like something i want to do but with waiting so long i wonder if my hype will overcome me!

I think i forget them a lot too but I'm still worried ill remember haha.

I think I've heard for a lot of films they hire an entirely different company to do the trailers, which often leads to the endings or dramatic reveals being blown for the sake of getting butts into seats in the cinema. I wonder if it's the same case here because like i said the 3D trailer showed a lot towards the end.

It may not have made sense until context but still.
