When the Apple Falls (Roleplay)

(sign ups are closed for brand new characters (Waking and Riku you're still okay) and everyone please follow this thread to stay up to date!!!)

It was Wednesday in the town of Farefaire. School was out for the rest of the week due to preparation for the arrival of the children from the Forgotten Isles. They were to be moved in and settled into a series of rooms that made up a section of the West Wing of the school.

Nearby this school, a young man by the name of Dexter was currently sleeping in his room, that is until his father came in to wake him up.

“Dexter.” Roxas uttered as he shook Dexter awake. “Dexter. Come on. It's eleven in the afternoon.”

Dexter groaned and turned around in his bed. He almost swatted his father’s hand away.

“Dad leave me alone…” He muttered, stuffing his face into his pillow.

Roxas sighed, and turned around while shaking his head. He didn't expect much from his son that afternoon, especially since the night before they had a unpleasant argument over something Roxas doesn't even remember.

“Fine. Sleep in. See if I care! You're be one missing out on spending a day with friends and meeting the new kids from the island.” Upon saying those words, Roxas felt a small pit of nausea in his heart. He knew Naminé was at the island, a girl he also once loved long ago. But sadly fate decided it was Replica Riku she was to be with.

“What if she’s here…” Roxas whispered to himself, hurrying downstairs to distract himself with absolutely anything. Cooking. Cooking is fun. Even if you suck at it.

Dexter meanwhile rolled his eyes under his eyelids and turned around once more in bed. After finally realizing what Roxas said, Dexter almost shot up in his bed. Today WAS the day. He took out his phone underneath his pillow and checked for any messages.

“What if they're here…”

Meanwhile, miles and miles away was the Forgotten Isles, a series of small islands around a bigger islands that served as the home for all villains and their children. Some honestly deserved to be there while others didn't. It was because of this why the program was established.

Percy Mors was wide awake. He had been awake for hours since he always woke up early. He only ever slept in when he tried to stay up late with his older brother, which always ended up in him being asleep on his brother’s arm in front of the TV by ten o’clock. Currently he was drawing under his bed in his room, because honestly he was afraid of leaving.

“Maybe if I hide under here I won't have to leave…” He whispered to himself as he drew a flood Unversed, a little cute creature he ironically played with. At first he was excited to leave- and even volunteered to do it for his parents and because his brother was doing it. Now that it was actually time to leave… Percy was less thrilled.

Luxanna blushed as Zeph nearly charged her down. Zeph thought that she was a tad bit shy...no, she was extremely shy...which is why her cheeks flushed as Zeph came so close. She managed a small smile at her fellow classmate.

"I...I think they'll just be normal. Like us. None will turn into monsters on a full moon...I...I think it's just a rumor." Rumors She so easily dismissed such rumors...but why could she not dismiss the ones that surrounded herself?

But...as Zeph talked, she only could smile. Someone didn't care about rumors...but then she was struck from behind, completely by accident as someone tripped over someone's foot. She yelped and stumbled closer to Zeph, and on pure instinct grabbed the girl's hand.

Her cheeks got even redder, and she began stuttering. "S-sorry, I-I di-didn't m-mean to g-g-grab y-you." She didn't let go, though.

"...I...I'm bad in crowds, Zeph...c...ca...can you hold my hand?"

Jack watched Vanitas walk off, then turned to Vita. He shrugged. "It is perfectly fine. The harder the fight, the more precious the prize." He bowed. "May I sit with you during the ride, Vita?" he asked. "I won't bite. Much." The last word was a whispered tease, and he replaced his glasses.

-Jade-

The dark-haired teen turned and gave his brother a long stare.  No emotion could be detected in his lifeless eyes, but Kurai likely knew him well enough that it was a look of surprise and slightly disapproval.  "There is no need to blame Sora and the others for where we are," he stated blandly.  "If you do not recall, it was because of our parents' heinous deeds that we've lived here, and yet this is our chance to start anew: to become something normal and accepted by the normal society.  I must say, I look forward to their living grass and forests."

Not too far away Jade spotted a bit of commotion, mostly surrounding Vanitas and his daughter, Vita.  He brushed the hair from his eyes.  There was a time when he'd considered Vita a friend, but things had changed.  She seemed busier, perhaps popular, and certainly too popular to pay attention to him.  While it saddened him a little he never bothered to try to fix things or even go up and speak to her.  He figured that, if she were interested, she would go up and speak to him herself.

"Anyway."  Jade picked up his belongings and nodded in the direction of the crowd.  "The ferry should arrive soon.  Best we be nearby so we don't have to fight the crowds, eh, Brother?"

Zeph glanced around. She didn’t notice how crowded it was becoming! Then again, the program did gain a lot of both fame and infamy across the islands. It would be the first time in years that the villains, or at least their children, would be allowed to come into the islands and join them with daily lives! So of course it would attract a lot of attention and people who would want to be around to see them arrive. She glanced over as Luxanna unconsciously grabbed her hand. But she didn’t mind at all. She knew she was a shy girl. “Sure! Don’t worry! I’ll make sure we don’t get lost from each other in this crowd.” Zeph assured, holding Luxanna’s hand reassuringly. “Maybe they could be normal after all. I tried asking the mayor but he wouldn’t tell me anything!~” Zeph whined.

Vita’s cheeks burned once more. Jack, on purpose or not, was being quite a flirt, something Vita simply wasn’t used to. She gripped onto the edges of her skirt gently and nodded. “Sure! We can sit together. I don’t see anything wrong with that.” Vita said, smiling softly as she tried to keep herself from fainting, her heart beating ever so fast. “Hopefully the ferry won’t forget about picking us up.” Vita chimed, glancing around as she saw the rest of the children who were also going to go ahead to the program. One of them, Azriel, was being rather the lonesome character. “Oh, Azriel is joining.” He had always been the quiet type to stay by himself, so it was a surprise to see him join. As she glanced around she also saw another familiar face. “Oh hey, it’s Jade. Hey!” Vita said cheerfully as she waved. Vanitas decided that he would be the one to bother Azriel, and he leaned closer to the lonesome child. “You’re going too? I figured you would stay at home like you usually do.” Vantias hummed.

"Whatever." Kurai said, passing his brother and making his way to the dock. He didn't think his brother understood. All their father wanted to do was find out what happened during the Keyblade War. Sure he went about it the wrong way, but he was just trying to learn, nothing wrong with that. It was everyone else who tried to stop him and succeeding that he was in this place, because they didn't understand the importance of knowledge.

(if you haven't guessed, I'm trying to make my character more of an antagonist lol)

James found his way to the front of the pier. He was still thinking about his plan to get the Underworld back and take his revenge on all the heroes of Fatefaire. He was wondering where the stupid boat may be as well. 'Those heroes are so dumb. They really think that they can exile us for years and we won't get mad at them? It's their stupid mistake that will cost them dearly.' James thought in his head as he held the charm his dad gave him in his righ hand.

Sora reached the pier and looked around to see tons of people there. "Well this could turn out to be really good, or the worst mistake in history. I just hope everything goes smoothly. Anyways, that is why I am here and Kairi is watching from another part of this town, to make sure we are all safe and sound, and nothing bad happens. The mayor really should have given this more thought." Sora said as he put his hands behind his head like he does in the Kingdom Hearts series.

Azriel took off his headphones and allowed them to hang as soon as he saw Vanitas approaching. He was unsure as to why the black haired man had come to bother him specifically, but Azriel did not mind that much as he was sure he could hold a mature conversation with him without being interfered by the idiot that was flirting with his daughter. Vanitas had asked Azriel why he was here instead of at home and it left the teen to ponder the question himself. Speaking softly and quietly, Azriel came up with a suitable answer to the perplexing question.

"I believe this program presents a good opportunity for me to further my study about whether or not the people of Fatefaire truly have a right to imprison us on this island. If by some chance that those that are waiting for us can see that we're not all evil, then perhaps they will grant us more privileges when it comes to relocating."

This answer was nothing more than excuse to Azriel. Although it may have been true, his greatest reason for leaving was so he would no longer remain under his father's influence. Sighing gently before looking up at Vanitas, Azriel had come up with a question of his own.

"Might I ask why Vita would want to go to Fatefaire? I believe its only fair that I ask you that question since you asked of me the very same thing."

Azriel then awaited Vanitas' answer, hoping he at the same time that he would unleash the man's wrath should he say anything unpleasant about his daughter.

Meanwhile, Dexter helped Thomas up. He'd seen the guy around school a few times, and considered him a friend, even. After all, Dexter was condemned to the 'lame table' and in Dexter's opinion Thomas didn't seem like the kind of guy to be hanging around the popular tables.

"Nothing much. I'm meeting my cousin Zeph here to see the new guys arrive. I actually have a cousin on the Island so that's going to be fun. Are you here to see too? Well, the Mayor wants everyone to see the new arrivals anyway..."

"A cousin huh... most of mine are either long-gone or live... actually, I don't even know haha!  Myself... I'm more here to see the ships really.  I still hold to the belief that there's something else out there, I mean, I'm mostly crazy and honestly don't know anything about anything... but still, there's has to be something else.  Thus, I hold onto the theory that maybe, just maybe there's a hint towards a different island or even country on those ships... that, and no one will notice me going alongside the ships and thus won't pester me.  I still owe money to about a third of the school after all, and to about a forth of their parents as well.  I ain't got a job, nor do I have money.  I haven't even found the mystical money tree yet... the last seed didn't work... bloody a..."

*Thomas scratches the back of his head, until his eyes lit up and his tilts his head back subtly.*

"Wait... I owe you money also... {underneath his breath}damn it, I swear I owe everyone money these days... {back to vocally}erm... would you accept another delay... even if this is the fifth one in a row...?"

*Thomas tilts his hat slightly downwards as he rescratches the back of his head.*

Kopiu moved over to the bed and sat down. "There's no need to be worried." The older brother said, in hopes to comfort the younger sibling. "I'll be there with you the whole way. And over there is nothing like it is here. Everything is clean and orderly, and all of them have been raised by the greatest people the worlds had ever seen. Trust me, it'll be great." Kopiu continued. "Besides, we already signed up to go this time. And we can't just go breaking promises like that." Kopiu continued, hoping in some way to convince his little bro that it would be okay.

Acta finally made it to the pier, and noticed the large groups of people already there. She didn't hesitate to run straight through the crowds, making her way to the forefront of the crowd, pushing her way past people with no regret.

Kurai looked at all the people as he approached the pier, knowing they all had the same thing in common, they all lived in this dump.

Percy listened to Kopiu's words and at first didn't want to listen. At the end of the day however, Percy always listened to his elder brother. The mainlands were great... Could it be true?"But mom and dad won't be there..." He uttered softly. But then Kopiu made a good point. He was there. "I..." Percy uttered softly as he continued to draw. "I can't break promises... Mommy said never to break promises..." He sighed softly and crawled out from under the bed with his sketchbook in hand. He stood up and looked right into Kopiu's eyes."I think we're going to be late..." He said with a frown. As he was saying this, the boat arrived to the pier."All aboard! And please don't try to capsize the boat..." Came the driver, who was a merchant from Agrabah. Meanwhile Dexter crossed his arms as he heard Thomas' story. Thomas sure was the interesting character. It was funny how there were so many things you could learn from a person outside of school."Well..." Dexter began. "There's many different worlds out there other than this one. My dad told me that every star out there is a world. He's been to a bunch of different worlds too. Maybe you could go to another world out there yourself." He was going to continue, but suddenly there was an announcement on the speakers from the Mayor."Good day kupo! This is Mayor Moogle speaking! I just wanted to announce that the boat should be arriving with all the new citizens from the program soon kupo! As a result, I want EVERYBODY to calmly wait at the pier and greet the newcomers! I honestly don't care if you don't want to... Kupo."

Kurai boarded the boat and took a seat near the entrance, so he could see the people who would be going to the school with him.

Suddenly where the mayor was, Peter appeared behind him. "And don't forget, I am just a Moogle, and I am a wimp! So who cares what I think...kupo!" Peter said loudly over top of the Moogle in the Moogle's voice so that it echoed into the speakers. Peter then laughed as he put a sign on the Moogle's head that read "Kupo is for losers!". And then Peter quickly took off after doing that, leaving the mayor to react to his actions.

Sora sighed where he was standing at the pier. "Great, Peter is up to no good again. Maybe it's a bad thing for Peter to meet these new kids." Sora said as he was sort of disappointed in his son.

Meanwhile, James got onto the boat and quickly went to the front edge of it. "I'm prince of the Underlord!!!!!! Now bow down mortals!!!!!" James said making a scene of the moment, while also changing a classic quote. James was ready for the new land and he knew finally he would be able to take his revenge.

Vanitas stared down at the kid. He was Ienzo in the way of thinking and being and yet there was something that seemed odd and different about it all. Vanitas shrugged and decided to give the kid a wholesome, honest answer to his question, since he did give an answer to his. “Because my wife insisted and her living there gives me a free pass to annoy my ex-nemesis.” Vanitas explained bluntly. Soon enough the captain and its ferry arrived. “Finally.” Vanitas huffed, turning to look over at Vita. “Vita! The boat is here!” Vanitas yelled, turning back and walking onto the boat. “Don’t worry. You’re safe…for now.” Vanitas teased he captain, walking off to find himself a seat. Vita smiled as the ferry arrived, glancing at Jack and nudging at the boat. “The ferry’s here. Let’s find some seats. I’m already getting so excited!” Vita smiled, walking over to the Ferry and getting onboard.

Staring at Vanitas as he walked onto the boat, Azriel began to think about what he'd said about Vita's mother. It was Vita's mother's idea for the girl to go to Fatefaire and he could only wonder what kind of person she was. This caused his own train of thought to drift to his own mother. Who was she? Why didn't he know anything about her? Was it possible that he would find out by making this journey? He simply didn't have the answers and this frustrated him slightly. Deciding to leave that thought for another time, Azriel turned his attention to the boat and boarded it carefully. Taking care to stay away from the sides, Azriel decided to the top deck where he was sure he'd remain undisturbed for the remainder of the journey. Lying down across a row of seats with his hands behind his head, the teen closed his eyes and moved his earphones back into place, resuming the music he was listening to. Unfortunately, Azriel's time asleep did not go as smoothly as he had hoped.

Looking around, Azriel had found himself led down on the boat, just as he had remembered, but there was something off about the scenery. The clouds were looming, dark and heavy, almost foretelling a thunderstorm despite the fact that it had been sunny only moments ago. Looking at his hands, Azriel had come to an immediate conclusion, nodding to himself to confirm it. He was dreaming. What he was dreaming of was his next question. Sitting up on the dream version of the boat, Azriel looked around before locking his eyes onto something that had not been there previously; a floating Grimoire.

"Azriel, why do you shun me so? You know that you want to give into the temptation of using magic like your father intended for you, but you still remain unconvinced. I'm afraid that if you do not submit to your own desires, then we will have to do something about the way that you operate."

Azriel narrowed his eyes at the book menacingly, not like the tone in which his own 'tool' was giving him. It was true that he was choosing not to use his magic, but it was also for another reason besides spiting his father.

"If I use that power, the darkness will take me. That power that comes from within you, Grimoire, is dark in nature. It cannot be used for anything besides destruction and that is not what I want."

"Then let me ask, what is it that you want?"

Azriel found himself off guard as he had no answer to counter with. He was a simple teenager with no warrant for anything in particular. It was true that he had wished to be free from his father, but now his wish was granted by moving to a completely different island from him, one in which he was unable to set foot on. His gaze drifted downwards, his hands retreating into his pockets.

"Perhaps... I wish to not be alone anymore."

"With the power of the Grimoire, something like that will be child's play."

"You can try convincing me all you like, I will not submit to the darkness."

"For now. But as long as you're sleep... I think I'll mess with your head for a while."

Within that moment, the surroundings sank into a deep abyss of darkness, swallowing Azriel whole as he began to hopelessly try to fight against the environment surrounding him.

"Until you give into that power, I will haunt your nightmares for eternity."

In the real world, Azriel remained asleep on the seats but began to move around restlessly as violent nightmares conjured by his Grimoire plagued him. The world of dreams was no longer a safe haven for Azriel and served as a starting point for his fall into the darkness of his own mind to begin.

Meanwhile Dexter crossed his arms as he heard Thomas' story. Thomas sure was the interesting character. It was funny how there were so many things you could learn from a person outside of school.

"Well..." Dexter began. "There's many different worlds out there other than this one. My dad told me that every star out there is a world. He's been to a bunch of different worlds too. Maybe you could go to another world out there yourself." He was going to continue, but suddenly there was an announcement on the speakers from the Mayor.

"Different worlds?  Whoo mate, I'm just talking about finding other islands and stuff here.  I still ain't got a job yet after all, and it's not as if there are random heartless or whatever other critters to beat up for money anyways, I won't take candy from a baby contrary to rumors, if that's rumored about me anyways.  So how can I afford those Gummi block ships things?  I can't, and I don't think sticking a bunch of gummy bears together works.  Thus... yeah, this is my best idea without having to get a job.  I mean..."

"Good day kupo! This is Mayor Moogle speaking! I just wanted to announce that the boat should be arriving with all the new citizens from the program soon kupo! As a result, I want EVERYBODY to calmly wait at the pier and greet the newcomers! I honestly don't care if you don't want to... Kupo."

{Hears voice as the Charlie brown adult voice}"Oh, he's here now... gr... wait, THE SHIPS WILL BE HERE SOON!  Come on Dex, I'll show you what I mean, the ships have to have something on them.  RUFUS!  Come over here!"

*Rufus, to Thomas' misfortune, has ran off deep into the ground, nibbling on whatever grass he could find.  Thomas shakes his head, once again, Rufus, however much he loves the bloody chocobo, disappoints him.  Thomas concentrates some magic into hand, mumbling about his bloody bird again, not knowing he is loud enough for people around him to hear.*

Oh god, he's here... I owe him forty dollars, there's no way I can pay that back anytime soon, that, and he's annoying...

"Hey Dex, I'm going to meet you down on the beach, meet me there if you want.  Rufus, come on already!"

*Thomas begins to dash down to the shore, clearly in a hurry.  Rufus, as per usual, is much quicker than Thomas realizes, and grabs his cloak by his beak, Thomas still comically moving his feet as if he's still dashing.  Rufus then flips his beak upwards, flipping Thomas over onto its rump in one smooth motion.*

"Gack!  Give me a warning next time Rufus..."

*Thomas straightens out his hat as Rufus goes down the trail.*

{Val}

"Well, they're-" Val started to answer, but Serah came upon her daughters.

She took another drink of water as her mom told them where they're father was. Val was planning to go out to meet the new kids when they got off. She had also hoped for a proper shower before then, but time was getting short and so was Fiona's patients, from the sound of it.

"Okay, we can go." Val told her sister. "Just give me a sec."

The oldest Villiers child dashed into the shower and took the briefest shower in the history of everything, redressing in record speed. She rejoined her mother and sister a few minutes later, looking about as disheveled as before, but now smelling better.

"Alright, I'm ready." Val said to Fiona.

She smiled at Serah.

"Don't worry, Mom. The messy look makes it easier to fight off boys."

{Eraqus}

After defeating his father once again in their board game, Eraqus headed out of the house to do some thinking and to possibly observe the arrival of the children of The Forgotten Isles. He liked to hope there would be some that would take the opportunity to prove the could overcome the situation of their birth and be something good.

"Because if they can, then there is no reason I can't." He thought.

But his life thus far had left him somewhat cynical. There would be trouble makers in group. And depending on how much like their parents these trouble makers are going to be, things could get bad fast.

-Luxanna-

The girl shook her head. Her hand tightened as a few people bumped into her, illiciting some soft whimpers of fear. Luxanna hated, absolute hated crowds...she usually felt like she was suffocating...

But not right now. Right now...she was okay. She looked down.

Maybe being an Army of One didn't mean she had to be an army of one. Maybe it just meant that...she wanted someone?

She didn't know. All Lux knew, was that Zeph was letting her hold her hand, and it kept her calm. She'll take peace of knowledge.

-Madoka-

Then the pier heard the loud whine of engines, and Madoka Possible flashed down and flared, causing a Shockwave of water that drenched Mayor Moogle in a bunch of water. Jumping out, she grinned triumphantly...until her mom's glare made her wince.

"Sorry!"

"THAT. WAS. AWESOME!"

Her dad dropped down and climbed off Baymax, high-giving his daughter. "What did you hit? Two fifty? Three?"

"Sound barrier shattered back near Las Vegas."

"Awes-" he was silenced by Kim's glare. He cleared his throat. "Right. Madoka Tadashi Ronnie Hamada Possible, you know not to drench Mayor Mooglescrooge- Mayor Moogle." He grinned sheepishly at his wife, he shrugged as Baymax put a towel onto Mayor Moogle. "Do you need further care? If not, please say 'I am satisfied with my care'."

-Jack-

Jack followed Vita, sitting next to her. She was cute when blushing. He'd remember that.

"I am not...that excited." He admitted. "But I am interested in meeting my...sister, I believe."

-Fiona-

The young teen found it difficult to wait for her elder sister, though her mother insisted that she take a comb through her hair.  She tugged at tangles viciously, trying to get her platinum blond hair straightened and ready to go, not that the wind would leave it be.  In her hair she tucked a black bow, not too large but instead one that would hold her bangs and longer layers from her face.  After that she took to pacing the hall, listening to the water run in the shower and her mother clang cleaning supplies downstairs.  At long last it her sister emerged, though it really was probably the shortest shower she'd ever taken.  Apparently Fiona was still considered messy, even though she'd half-combed her hair and put a bow in it sloppily.  Her skirt was askew and wrinkled, her shirt in hardly any better condition.  Her socks did not match, but that wouldn't matter once she put shoes on, or at least for the most part.  She grinned at Val's response to their mom's disapproving frown.  Always Fiona could count on Val.

Together the two made it outdoors and on their way to the ferry.  The Villiers family didn't live too far from the coast, though it would probably be at least a thirty-minute walk before they arrived.  For the longest time Fiona walked in silence before turning a glance at her older sister.  "You know," she said softly.  "I heard Mom and Dad talking last night, and they're worried about these kids.  Dad thinks it is a good idea, but Mom is afraid that some of the kids have ill intentions.  What do you think, Val?  Surely they won't . . . hurt us, will they?"

-Jade-

For a moment Jade could only stand there, stunned, as Vita waved and called his name, before her attention was attracted elsewhere and Vanitas had ushered her onto the boat.  He was kicking himself for not responding, but it was brief, and almost immediately she glanced away at other boys hoping around her.  Jade scoffed and shook her head.  Poor girl; they weren't even there and already the guys were following her around in droves.  He certainly didn't want her to feel that he was adding to them, so he decided a distance would be best, even if it did seem cold.

Kurai had already taken a seat on the boat, to which Jade slowly followed.  On his way in he made an effort to pass Vita, the bright kind girl whose intelligence far exceeded his own, or at least he thought so.  The slightest of smiles stretched his pale lips as his dark emerald eyes met hers.  "Good morning, Vita.  It is a pleasure to see you again.  It's been quite some time."  He gave Azriel a glance, who remained sleeping a short distance away, and proffered Jack one of the coldest stares he could before turning, as if ready to leave.

"It's futile, you know." Kurai said, looking to his brother. "With all those guys after her, she won't even bat an eye at you anymore, not when there's so much better available to her, and she knows it."

Mayor Moogle certainly wasn't expecting the chain of events that claimed him. First he was humiliated, drenched, and then humiliated some more. All right in front of all the towns people as he stood on a balcony at a small house right at the pier.

"I-I am NOT a whimp- kupo! I am the Mayor of this town-" he was cut off by water splashing into him.

"C-Cold... Kupo." He sneezed, and somehow glared at Madoka and Hiro with his never blinking eyes. Baymax then generously offered a towel.

"I-I an satisfied with my care... Kupo. But I am not satisfied with that Peter... Kupo."

Dexter listened to the entire event take place over the loud speaker and shook his head. The mayor was honesty more of a joke than anything. Something you'd see in some kind of cartoon or something. Why did they even have a Moogle as a mayor anyway? Suddenly, Thomas ungracefully left. Dexter sighed and shook his head as he slowly began to walk by himself now to the pier.

Meanwhile Roxas had made it there himself, deciding to watch from a distance. He wanted to see if Naminé would be there. She could be there... Could she?

"Naminé..." Roxas uttered to himself, holding a small doll of Naminé that he had found in a revisit to Castle Oblivion tightly in his right hand. He held it right to his chest.

Peter suddenly ran back up to the mayor. "Then you shouldn't be mayor, if you can't even keep your subjects in line. Maybe someone else would be better? Cause I think that makes you a wimp. Okay, gotta go!" Peter said as he left one more note on the mayor reading "Loser for Mayor *insert year here*!" and then Peter took off once again. Peter was fast for just a 17 year old, kind of Super Sonic fast.

James looked out towards Fatefaire while on the boat. He noticed that everyone else on the boat was doing their own thing, but James was set on a goal and no one and nothing could get in his way of distract him from his mission. But maybe, maybe James also thought what would happen if he were to make an actual friend in Fatefaire and one that would help him with causing trouble.

Kopiu scratched the back of his head kind of regretfully. "Yeah, I think we will be..." He said. Their parents made an appearance in the doorway, Repliku having his arm around Namine. The Replica nodded in confirmation.

"The boat was scheduled to be here about 45 seconds ago. Fortunately, you have a gifted father." He said, spawning a dark corridor right onto the pier. Though they had limited his magic to only teleport throughout the Forbidden Isle, it was still functional. Kopiu smiled softly to his parents.

"Thanks." He said. Namine rushed over and gave him a hug, deep and caring. Kopiu returned the affection. "Don't worry so much, I'll take care of both of us." He whispered to her.

"I'm your mother, it's my job to worry." She whispered back, then released him. Kopiu looked to his father, who nodded. The expression on his face said more than any words could. The Replica's son gave his father a thumbs up, then walked through the corridor. He leaped onto the boat once he appeared on the boat.

"Sorry I was late guys!" He exclaimed.

Vita turned around in her seat to look past the handrail, looking up at the island that had been her home for her entire life. It felt strange to see it from a boat. It felt even stranger to think that she wouldn't be seeing such island in a long, long time. Would she get homesick? Probably. However she hoped that the new islands would be as fantastic and as bright as the rumors said to help her avoid getting such sickness. It would be a whole new world, basically. One that could end up turning very good, or very bad. "Bye bye Forgotten Isles." Vita hummed, resting her arms against the handrail and her head against her arms. This would be a long day ahead. Vanitas in the meanwhile stood by one of the corners of the ferry, up front to be able to see ahead. He wanted the first glance he could possibly get of the islands that he hadn't seen since being banished. Not because he felt nostalgic. But more because he wanted to know how much closer he was getting to annoy everyone.

"It appears you have your hands more than full, mayor." Ventus commented as he walked up to him. Yes, the mayor was indeed a small Moogle, and because of it he got pushed around. But then again the mayor was a very diligent person and gave absolutely no ***** if it came to do his work. Work would be done. Villains or not. Ventus turned to glance at the crowed, finding his daughter Zephyr hanging out with Luxanna. He walked over to him, smiling softly. "Hey girls. Pretty bustling already, isn't it? Its even more crowded than in festivals." Ventus said. "I just want to see if the kids do have horns!" Zeph smiled as she glanced back at the sea. Ah his small, and very gullible daughter. How much he loved her and worried for her equally as much.

Jack leaned against the railing by Vita.

"I'm not sure if I should regret this decision now or later. This ferry ride is excruciatingly long and almost...almost sickening. Got one guy trying to be cool up front, a lot of these people antisocial...when was it mandatory for people to be villains and antisocial..." Jack sighed softly.

Luxanna pressed closer, and slightly behind Zeph.

"H...hello mister Ventus." She said softly, trying to hide entirely behind Zeph while still holding her hand. "I...I was out with my mom and she asked if I'd be willing to come..s...so here I am." She yelped as someone bumped her. "I...I'm not good with crowds...Z...Zeph, please don't let me go." She looked visibly uncomfortable, but didn't leave.

She didn't want to let Lightning down.

Percy frowned at the sight of his parents. Honestly he really didn't want to be away from them. He was afraid. Afraid of many things. He was going to miss them, and he was afraid of what could happen. He was afraid of the darkness. Despite his older brother inheriting the Soul Eater duplicate, Percy inherited much of his father's dark abilities. He didn't know much of them, however three years prior he almost drowned. The only reason why he didn't... Is because he went into dark mode. Percy doesn't remember it, but he is afraid of it.

"Mama... Papa..." He muttered, going up to Naminé to hug her. Percy looked up to his father. He really didn't want to go through the portal.

"What if it comes back?" He looked behind him to see Kopiu already through. With a small sniffle Percy looked down at his sketchbook.

"...I love you guys." He said softly, before hurrying right into the portal. Percy looked around and saw basically every kid on the island. And... Vita.

"Hi everybody!" Percy said, trying to sound much more cheerful than he was only a few seconds prior. He sat right next to Kopiu and opened his sketchbook up to draw again.

The driver looked down at a list and checked to make sure everyone was on. "Alrighty..." He said, trying to put as much distance as he could between himself and Vanitas. "That's everyone, I think. Off we go..." With that, he drove off.

Meanwhile Mayor Moogle was fuming at Peter's actions.

"Don't you dare make a fool out of myself kupo! I'll stick your little booty on the island kupo!!!" With that, he ripped the signs off of him, crumbled it up, and tossed it in Peter's direction. Right then, Ventus came in with a comment.

"I don't have my hands full, kupo..." Mayor Moogle uttered with an aggravated sign. "Well, they're stubs kupo... But that little pipsqueak punk is worse than anything on that island kupo! Look at this sign! SORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-kupo!" Mayor Moogle screeched, calling for Sora to deal with his wretched son.
