Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted December 19, 2015 -Fiona- The blonde took an empty seat across from Azriel, allowing Dex the glory of purchasing ice cream for the four. "Your dad didn't let you eat ice cream on a diet?!" This truly shocked Fiona, not having ever been on a diet in her life. Sure, Serah always ensured that her family ate healthy and didn't indulge in too many snacks around the house, but never had her parents restricted her. She stole a sideways glance at Azriel. "I can't even imagine why he'd strictly have you on a diet. It's not like you're overweight or anything!" A smile crossed her lips as Dexter brought an ice cream stick to her, taking it gratefully before giving him a scowl. "Next time, no matter what you say, I'm buying you twice this amount of ice cream. Understood?" Suddenly Ember lunged at Dexter, holding her friend in a tight embrace. For some reason the sight aggravated Fiona, though she couldn't exactly explain why. Still, she smiled at Ember and replied cheerfully. "Hey, Ember! Somrene! Want to come sit by us?" The suggestion seemed like a great idea until, of course, Kurai had pulled out his Keyblade in a threatening manner toward Ember. The blonde's eyes widened, both in panic and surprise, until she realized Kurai didn't understand. Suddenly she bounced out of her seat, standing between the Keyblade and Ember with her arms outstretched. "No, no, Kurai, it's okay! They're just friends." Had he picked up on her irritation toward the hug? That would be both surprising and strange, if so. Thankfully, Kurai calmed down quickly, withdrawing his Keyblade and introducing himself. She turned to face Ember apologetically, hoping that she wouldn't take his actions personally. "He's new to the island. I'm guessing that things are different back on the Forgotten Isle and that friends don't . . . hug each other?" -Jade and Snow- Upon Acta's words Jade could only stare. She did not seem even the slightest bit sincere, and he knew that this wasn't over yet. However, in Aqua's presence he didn't dare continue to argue, especially when Eraqus suggested that he take the two home. Jade had a profound respect for Eraqus; he really was levelheaded and treated him with respect, unlike his sister and potentially many others from this island. He nodded to the son of Aqua. "I'll see you around the campus, I suppose." He then shoved his hands in his pockets and wandered off, mostly in search of his brother. Instead he ran into Snow, the same blond man who'd given him a scolding earlier. He scowled, but it seemed Snow had a bit to say to him. "Hey, kid. Do you need a ride to the campus? I checked the roster, and it looks like we've got a couple of kids missing. Do you happen to know where your brother is?" Jade sighed and shook his head in response, to which Snow scratched his chin thoughtfully. "That's certainly strange. Maybe he got off with one of the others. Anyway, load up in the red van over there! I'm taking you all to the school. It's unlocked, so help yourself to any seat." Snow then strolled away, leaving the dark-haired teen confused but not desirous to stray and get in trouble. He climbed into the red van, his gaze falling upon the son of Hades that he'd attempted to speak to back on the ferry. "Ah, we meet again."
Azure Flame 670 Posted December 19, 2015 "Sorry, I thought we were under attack again, after that rock incident." Kurai said. "Things at the island aren't as good as they are here, surrounded by darkness and such. It seeps in and grabs hold of you, especially when your own brother resents you for something you didn't even want in the first place"
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted December 23, 2015 Acta nodded reluctantly to her mother, then began walking home with her brother. She thought the trip was going to be awkwardly silent, but soon enough, she heard the words that confirmed everything she wanted from Eraqus. She flashed him a broad grin, and nodded. "Got it." The Daughter of Aqua said affirmatively. "It's nice to meet you Azriel and Kurai!" Ember said excitedly with a nod. She quickly took up Fiona's offer, and took a seat next to the Villiers kid. She glanced between Fiona and Kurai, her eyes widening in surprise. "Wait, there's no hugs on the Forgotten Isle?! Man, it was worse there than I could have ever imagined!" The Ninja commented, her tone indicating that she was completely sincere. Somrene got up from his own seat, making sure to take both of the ice creams that they had. As he moved past Kurai, his eyes also widened, but for a rather different reason. He set down Ember's icy treat before speaking up again. "Rock incident? Did something happen on the pier?" Somrene asked them.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted December 24, 2015 Vita smiled and was going to wave at Lux, but she quickly shied away to Zeph. “(Ah, did I scare her?)” Vita wondered, unknowing that it was actually just Jack in general. “(Could it be my hair?)” Vita thought, feeling the ends of her hair and looking at her reflection on the window in hopes of fixing anything that seemed off. Even for being the daughter of a villain and being raised among such, she was a teen at heart regardless. Zeph looked curiously at Lux and smiled, rubbing her head. “Hey Lux, come on, we can have them be our friends or something! We’re all going to the same school anyways!” Zeph chimed, turning and leaning up to Roxas, despite that he was driving. No seatbelt would be able to hold Zeph back. “Hey mister Roxas! Can we have sleep overs at the school?! Or do you think we can be allowed to have food fights this year?!”
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted December 24, 2015 -Lux- No amount of rubbing would have stopped the strangled cry escape from Lux's lips. She immediately buried her face in Zeph's chest (above the breasts, mind you) in fear. She'd have to go to school with Jack...she forgot and now she just wanted to lock herself in her room. -Jack- Jack didn't even react. He just smiled as he looked out the window, lightly tapping his knee to a mental beat.
Azure Flame 670 Posted December 24, 2015 "Nice to meet you." Kurai said. "There are such things as hugs on the islands, but that didn't seem like oneat first glance, especially after the rock incident. As for that, someone here, one of the kids, threw a rock at us islanders, almost hitting us but someone caught it."
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 24, 2015 -Roxas- (I'm curious to what Lightning's response was not gonna lie) Roxas sighed as he placed his seatbelt on to prepare to leave. Suddenly as always Zeph's seatbelt couldn't hold her back and Roxas had to turn around in his seat to calm her down. "H-Hey lets take this one day at a time okay? And after last year's food fight (which to Roxas' dismay Dexter was a part of) I don't think they'll allow that. Since when did they even allow that in the first place? Anyway, if you really want a sleepover why not ask your father? I'm sure he won't mind." With that, Roxas put the car in drive and went to leave... However from his mirror he saw Jack's grin one more. He could tell Lux was most likely afraid of him. Roxas really didn't like how he was looking at her either. Or at anyone in the car for that matter. He hissed underneath his breath and promptly stopped before he even exited the plaza. "Hey, it's really cramped in here." Roxas said as he unlocked the doors. "Jack, go with Snow. He has a lot more room in his car." Roxas wasn't even asking him to. He was telling him to. -Dexter- Meanwhile Dexter was just about to take a bite of his wonderful ice cream until Kurai dropped his, and summoned his Keyblade. Dexter went forward and waved his hands infront of him while he stood infront of Ember. "Woah, it's okay! She's cool. She was just saying hi to me that's all." Luckily, Kurai put his Keyblade away and explained himself. Dexter let out a sign of relief and patted Kurai's shoulder. "Hey, it's okay. I'd probably do the same after that whole rock thing. Just know that none of us here will hurt you okay?" He grumped at Somrene's question, getting upset just at the thought of thinking about what happened. "Yeah. The rock almost hit Kurai straight in the head. I can't believe it happened. I'm getting mad just thinking about it." He uttered. Dexter hated any sort of bullying, even though he couldn't really stand up for himself at all. If anyone threatened his friends however, he'd knock them in the hospital even if Dexter himself had to get sent to one too.
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted December 24, 2015 -Jack- He looked like he had been slapped. Not making a fuss though, he turned to Vita. "Sorry Vi. Guess I can't stick around. See you later." He said. Getting out, he looked around for the most blonde haired idiot he could find. There he was. Walking over, he cleared his throat. "Snow Villiers? Roxas decided he didn't quite care for how my presence affected Luxanna. He requested I come with you." Ever the jerk. -Lux- She calmed down a lot more...but stays hiding against her friend. She felt safe...warm...and Zeph seemed to not mind her nervousness. Which was a bonus. -Lightning- She watched what happened silently. She couldn't protect Lux forever...plus, it gave Roxas the chance to show her if he cared for Lux...and he did. "I will talk with Xion...but I think Lux would love to spend time with you. Dex...I still don't understand your kid, sorry. We'll see how he reacts." She stood up. "I better go. The Mayor will throw a fit...oh hell with it. I'm getting a donut, might as well. Least the mall makes the best." She stretched and walked towards her car, not a care in the world.
Oblivion 22 162 Posted December 24, 2015 (edited) Casually eating his ice cream, Azriel observed everyone as they interacted with each other, getting along and talking about the incident's that occurred earlier during the day. Feeling a little out of place and without anything to add to the conversation, Azriel stared out the window to see if there was anything worth looking at. Seeing the buildings and unique architecture of Fatefaire really emphasised that Azriel was no longer on the Forgotten Isles. The azure haired teen then began to think about what Ember said about their being no hugs on the Forgotten Isles. While he was sure that there were a lot of families on the Isles that received lots of love and compassion from their parents, Azriel was fairly certain that he was nothing more than another one of his father's science experiments. He had never known what it was like to be shown kindness until he'd seen how other children were treated while on one of the many errands Ienzo would send him on. Arzriel was unsure on whether or not he should feel jealous for the fact that he was not loved because he had no idea what it meant to be loved in the first place. The very concept remained in the realms of the unknown to him and he was sure that it would stay that way until he'd arrived at Fatefaire. But now he was delving into things he did not understand. What was friendship? What was he supposed to do under these circumstances? Turning back to the group as he slowly finished his ice cream, Azriel spoke with his calm and monotonous voice. "Is there anything else that we should see before I head back to the dormitory that I will be staying at? I'm grateful for you showing me around, but I don't want to be a burden if you have other things you need to do." Azriel looked down a little, remembering how Ienzo would treat him so harshly if he had ever done something wrong or not up to the standard at which he would have liked it. He would always be scolded if he were ever "in the way" or "wasting time". "... people always have other things they want to do." rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted December 26, 2015 {Eraqus} After Eraqus was sure that he and his sister were well away from the docks and the chance of running into one of the new kids, he decided to elaborate to Acta. "A fact of this situation, is that we must give the children of the Forgotten Isles a chance to prove themselves here." He said, getting what he figured was the biggest pill for Acta to swallow out of the way. "There are some, like the sons of Riku's Replica and Namine, that have a good chance to turn out well. But even the ones we are sure are rotten to the core must be given the chance to prove us wrong. They must be given a chance to become something better." While he didn't actually chance his walk or face, Eraqus took on the feeling of a storm cloud, threatening a massive storm. "And once that chance has been wasted, we will need to be ready." Stardustblade358 806 Posted December 26, 2015 Vita blinked a few times and turned to see that Jack was kicked out. Not literally, but you know what I mean. "Huh? No, wait, Jack don't leave me!" Vita said nervously, but it was too late. He was gone. She sighed and glanced back up. Now she was stuck with the girls and Roxas. How joyful. Not that she didn't like it...she just felt odd since she was the only one from the isles now in the car. "Um..." Vita began. Zeph smiled as Lux relaxed, and glanced back at Vita, deciding to make a conversation. "Your hair is very pretty!" Zeph chimed. Vita glanced up. "Huh? Thank you?" Vita asked. She had to continue the conversation somehow. "Not as pretty as your friend's hair, though." Vita added. "Lux has pretty hair doesn't she? The prettiest hair ever!" Zeph squeaked. She then remembered her father's words a bit. "But I won't let you get near Lux. I don't want you to hurt her." Zeph said bluntly. Vita blinked and tilted her head. "Hurt her? I wouldn't really hurt anyone..." Vita began. "Daddy warned me that your dad almost killed him so you could do the same. So I won't let you get near Lux." Zeph insisted again. This time Vita didn't had an answer. What could she say? It wasn't a lie. Her father indeed almost killed allot of people. Though she couldn't help but to feel a sting that such reputation would follow her like a shadow. "...right."
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) -Snow and Jade- The blond tilted his head, considering the teen a moment before bringing a gloved hand to his chin. "I see . . . . That could certainly pose some complications. Have a seat. I've just finished loading up so we're going to head off now." With that he strode along the other side of the van, climbing into the driver's seat and shutting the door. Already inside was James, the son of Hades, and, sitting behind him, Jade. The raven-haired teen had his eyes closed until he noticed Jack approached. He'd recalled seeing him on the ferry, and occasionally took the time to speak to him. He shifted to the opposite side of the van to make room for Jack and his luggage. "Greetings. I thought you were happily seated with Vita?" he asked, voice emotionless as ever. -Fiona- "Geez, I'm really glad that you're here now," Fiona said, slightly saddened as Kurai explained a little bit about what life was like on the island. "It sounds like that's no place to live. No, you'll find things are so different here, and everyone treats each other kindly for the most part. The rock incident just shouldn't have happened." It took Fiona a moment to register what Kurai had mentioned about his brother. After nibbling on a frozen bite of ice cream the blonde licked her lips and turned her gaze back to the mysterious younger boy from the island. "By the way, what is this about your brother resenting you? I think I saw you guys at the docks. Doesn't he like you?" Having grown up in the Villiers household, jealousy was just something Fiona hadn't quite learned how to fathom. Breaking her from her thoughts came Azriel's voice, asking whether there was anythign they needed to do before returning to the dorms. The blonde looked thoughtful. "Hummm, not that I know of. What do you think, Dex? Should we take him to the school right after this?" Edited December 28, 2015 by Mystics Apprentice
Azure Flame 670 Posted December 28, 2015 "No, it'ss not." Kurai said, agreeing with her. "And I resent my parents for getting me stuck there, but I also resent the so-called 'hero' for interfering, punishing me and my brother for what our parents did. Forcing us to live on that island until they decided to give us the chance to live here, as 'gracious' as they are." When she asked about his brother, he said "My brother was first born and always thought he would inherit our father's Keyblade. But he got passed over on it and it went to me, he still cares for me, but he resents me as well for taking what he feels is rightfully his. However, I never wanted any of it, I just wanted to be normal. But that's impossible now. All that time on the island, all the hatred and resentment, has brought the darkness into my heart, I can feel it weigh me down, and I can sense my brother is the same." Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 31, 2015 Roxas watched as Jack left the car. Sure, the kid looked annoyed by it but Roxas didn't care. He could tell by Jack's face that he was a troublemaker. And the extremely bad kind at that. He wasn't going to have any of that in his car. He watched as Jack left with the strongest of gazes on his face and after Jack entered Snow's car he looked up to Lightning. He had to admit, the idea of spending a day with Lux certainly sounded nice. He just hoped she would enjoy herself too. Already Roxas was thinking about where he would take her. Rollerskating? Bowling? A simple movie? Maybe he’d just let her decide. Upon mentioning of his son, Roxas couldn't help but chuckle. “Well honestly I sometimes don't understand that boy either. He’s so hard headed, which sadly I guess he gets from me. But I know he’ll have a lot of fun spending the day with you. I think he thinks you're cool.” Roxas heard a little bit of commotion going on, and he turned his head to see Zephyrus talking to Vita… About how she didn't trust her. Roxas sighed. He forgot that Jack and Vita were the only Forgotten kids in his car. He didn't realize Vita was now by herself, which must've felt uncomfortable. “Hey now,” Roxas began, looking at Zephyrus. “She is your cousin. She’s not going to hurt you or Lux, and won't ever hurt you or Lux. Whatever happened between Ventus and Vanitas is between them. Not you two. Vita just wants to live happily here and make tons of friends, right?” Roxas asked, looking to Vita with a smile. “I'm happy to have another beautiful niece.” Meanwhile, Dexter sighed as he continued to eat his ice cream. He had to admit, his entire life he always wondered what the Forgotten Isles were like, and he always wanted to go see for himself. He thought it was better there sometimes, as living in Farefaire wasn't cracked up to be. Honestly Dexter thought that some of the people who lived here deserves to live over there. He had to admit though, hearing Azriel's and Kurai's tales about the Isles... It made him sad to think that regular guys like him had to go through that. Shunned because of what his parents had done. "I'm sorry..." Dexter said with a frown. "It's not fair that they lock you guys up over there like that. It's not your fault..." His grip tightened on his ice cream stick. He tried to lift up his spirits. "...But you're here now! And even if those jerks try to mess things up for you, we're going to back you up. You're not going to feel hatred or resentment anymore. We're your friends now." Dexter looked to Azriel and fumbled with his ice cream stick. Were there any other places to go? "Hm... There's the skatepark and stuff, but you don't have to come with us if you don't want to. You're not a burden. I have nothing else I'd rather do more than hang with you guys. Honestly you're one of the only sane people in this town."
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted December 31, 2015 -Lux- Her eyes went super wide. Zeph seemed so determined...She hugged Zeph even more, and nuzzled Zeph's neck. "...it's okay Zeph...R...R....Dad is right...I..." She peeked over. "...your hair is pretty...it's like my mom's..." She didn't show her face completely. -Jack- He looked at jade. "I was. Then I made Luxanna, my cousin, extremely uncomfortable so Roxas threw me out. Oh well. can see her later." He was, though, extremely upset inside. She begged him not to go...and he couldn't stay back. 1 Aqua7KH reacted to this
Stardustblade358 806 Posted December 31, 2015 Vita listened and sighed in relief. At least Roxas seemed to have trust into her. She gave a soft nod. “Thank you.” She hummed. She could barely hear Lux, but her comment made her smile. “Thank you. It’s not as pretty as yours, though.” Vita said. Zephyrus looked around curiously. Was it good to be able to trust her cousin? Her father had warned her so much about everything. She gently shook her head and looked back at Vita. “Then I guess you don’t seem so bad…but I won’t leave my sight off you. You’re still on my suspicious list!” Zephyrus said rather childishly. Vita nodded and turned to look out the window again. Couldn’t she go off to another vehicle with the rest of the Forgotten kids? At least then she would know a few of them.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted January 3, 2016 -Jade- The raven-haired teen merely shook his head and waved a hand dismissively. "Don't tell me that you were completely innocent, Jack." The mention of his cousin, however, piqued Jade's interest. "So who is this cousin of yours? Didn't know you had one here on the island. She's not that crazy girl who's always got her hands clinging to Roxas's boy, is she?" While he hadn't seen much of the Villiers kids, he wasn't very fond of them. The engine of the car roared to life as Snow began backing out of the parking spot. For a father of two girls and a hero, it was surprising that he drove with such pizzazz, abrupt halts, jeers, and all. "Shouldn't take long before we get you kiddos to the school," he called from the driver's seat, stealing a glance at Jade, Jack, and James. "You're going to like it. It's a real beut from what I hear from my wife." -Fiona- "I agree," Fiona said, licking the remains of her ice cream stick in hopes of acquiring a winner. "They shouldn't have imprisoned you all on the island just because of your parents, but the only alternative would've been to take you all away from your parents. That would've been horrible, don't you think?" She liked to believe that there was some sense of fairness among her society, even if there was an extreme bias to these so-called "heroes." "That's a real shame to hear regarding your brother. It sounds like he's being a little bit of a jerk, if you ask me honestly. No one should blame you for something that's out of your control." She listened intently as Dexter suggested things they could do to Azriel. After he finished she glanced over to Somrene and Ember. "Of course you guys can come too, you know!" Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted January 7, 2016 Roxas couldn't be more happier that Vita at least seemed a bit more comfortable in his car. He was debating of asking Snow if anyone in his car wanted to tag along, but already Snow was leaving. Lovely. "Agh..." Suddenly, Roxas heard a magic word; 'Dad.' Did Lux just call him the D word? All of a sudden Roxas felt warm inside and very happy. The corners of his lips curled up; he couldn't help but smile. "Y-Yeah. You're welcome to come over later if you'd like Vita. I'm making Pot Roast. You can meet your cousin Dexter too although he might pass out from all the girls in the house." Roxas was about to pull out of the parking lot, when he noticed that there were only a few kids in Snow's car when he left. Roxas knew there were way more kids from the Island. He was going to roll down his window to ask the Mayor about it, but he seemed a bit too occupied as usual. Roxas just rolled his eyes and pulled out of the parking lot. He knew those who were missing was most likely with Dexter who was getting them into trouble or something. "Next stop, the school..." Roxas said as he drove down the street. Meanwhile, Dexter sighed as he looked down at his ice cream stick. Honestly he really didn't feel like eating it anymore, which was shocking because his diet was basically nothing but his father's cooking and sea salt ice cream. "Man, this is such a bummer. I don't understand why people have to be so rude. It pisses me off."
Oblivion 22 162 Posted January 12, 2016 After listening to all of the suggestions that both Dexter and Fiona had to offer, Azriel had decided that it might be best to find his way back to the dorms. Even though Dexter had told him he was not a burden, Azriel had a hard time believing that he wasn't interrupting their day. "I think I would like to go and visit my dorm. I'm sure I can find the school on my own, so I do not think a guide will be necessary." Azriel was about to leave rather coldly without another word but he looked back over his shoulder at Dexter. Sighing to himself, he knew he had to do something to show that he was at least a little bit grateful. Reaching into his bag, he took out a miniature notebook and a pen, scribbling something down. After a few seconds, Azriel neatly tore the page from the book and handed it over to Dexter. "This is my phone number. I have never given it out before, so be mindful about who you give this number to. If you need anything, then just call me and I'll see what I can do." Azriel then turned, picking up all of his bags and headed towards the door. "I will see you all again soon. Good bye for now." Azriel then left the building, heading in the direction he believed the school and its dorms to be. "They were nice... Slightly naive... But nice..."
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted January 13, 2016 -Snow and Jade- "Alright, kiddos, I hate to break up your conversation," said Snow slowly as he brought his van to a sudden stop. "But we've reached our destination of Fatefaire academy. If you all would be so kind as to unbuckle your seatbelts and hop out we can start the grand tour of your new home." For some reason his words didn't excite Jade. He glanced to Jack. "Let's resume this later. Right now it seems we have a higher calling." The black-haired teen stepped out of the vehicle, pulling his luggage out of the backseat and bringing it down in front of him. At last he took a glance at the school, and inwardly he was mildly impressed. It was a rather large campus, with a fresh-cut lawn of emerald green, trees everywhere, and a water fountain where benches resided. A great place for studying, if he did say so. The building itself was in an excellent state of repair, the paint fresh and the windows polished. It seemed like a luxurious place to live. If only he could do it with the honor of a Keyblade wielder than a criminal wannabe. Snow got out of the car at last, glancing around before finally spotting Roxas's car. He waved in its direction, proceeding over to speak with the blond. -Fiona- Things seemed to take a sour turn for the worst. Suddenly it felt that Fiona's stomach had been tied in a knot, glancing from Dex to Azriel somberly. All of this seemed to upset them, and now the crowd was starting to disperse. "But, wait!" Fiona cried, though it was too late: Azriel had already left the building. The blonde huffed, looking defeated. "We're going to the academy anyway, right, Dex? Somebody's got to show Kurai around." She tilted her head and smiled at Xehanort's son. "If you're ready we can take you now, and you can even eat your ice cream on the way if you're not finished." She didn't want to be pushy, and hoped Azriel wouldn't be upset if they followed, but she felt that they couldn't just abandon Kurai, especially since he didn't know his way around the island yet. Azure Flame 670 Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) Kurai had just finished his ice cream as she asked and replied "Alright, probably time for us to head there anyway." He got up and straightened out his jacket, tossing away his stick. "Don't mind Azriel, he was always anti-social even by our standards." he said, noticing the look on her face. Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) Roxas finally pulled up to the school, sighing of relief to himself to see that everyone appeared to get to the school safely and with no problems. There was no rocks in sight and with Snow helping things could actually go off without a hitch. Roxas parked infront of the sidewalk and watched as Snow approached. "We're here, guys!" Roxas announced, looking back at at his passengers. He got out to talk to Snow and help out with the bags. "Sorry for sending one of mine to go with you last minute." Roxas said. "The car was cramped and he was making people uncomfortable." Percy shivered and held tightly on to his brother as the car drove. He wasn't sure how to handle being with so many people in the car. He was however very happy Jack was kicked out. At least he was able to relax a bit more now considering the boy who tried to drown him was out. When they got to the school, Percy's eyes widened as he saw how grand the structure was. He nudged his elder brother and looked out he window. "It's huge..." Percy admitted, in awe. "I'm gonna try to draw it!" Meanwhile Dexter sighed as Azriel decided to leave. He had to admit he could understand why. If he was in the same situation he'd probably leave to. Dexter wasn't however expecting the number exchange. Dexter flashed a thumbs up towards Azriel with a grin. "Sure. I'll hit you up!" He watched Azriel leave and frowned when Fiona seemed to freak out. "Hey, it's okay Fi." Dexter said as he put his hand on Fiona's shoulder. "He has to get settled in and stuff. He'll hang with us later." He looked over to Kurai next and nodded. "It might take a while to settle in anyway. I think Azriel is pretty cool. You both are." Stardustblade358 806 Posted January 29, 2016 Vita glanced out the window, gasping at the sight of the Academy. She opened the door, stepping out of the car as she pulled her suitcase with her. It was grand, and it was certainly amazing. Certainly not something that she had seen before, or that you would see around in the Forgotten Isles. Zeph stepped out, looking up at the academy as she shrugged. Then again, she had always seen it, living her all her life. It was no big deal to her. "It's so big, this is where we're going to study?" Vita asked in awe. "Yeah! And one part of the building contains the dorms!" Zeph explained casually. Vita couldn't help but to purse her lips in thought. So this is where everything was going to start for her and the rest of the children. Whether they given permission to stay and make a life here or be sent back after graduating all depended on this one Academy and the project to reintroduce them into society. It was...overwhelming, but also exciting. However she wondered if they would be able to survive the semester without any friction between the students, or fights in general. Maybe she would just hide under a table and hope for the best.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted January 31, 2016 -Snow and Jade- A smile tugged at Snow's mouth as he clapped Roxas on the shoulder. "It's not a problem. I understand. I have two daughters, after all!" He laughed, brushing his pale locks from his face. "Besides, I had some room to spare, and I think the boys got along fine in the backseat. I'm going to leave the others with you, though, if that's alright. We're missing a couple of kids from the island, and before Mayor Moogle and other parents get antsy about Forgotten Isle kids being on the loose I figure I should probably go find them." With that, Snow tugged open the door to his minivan, and out stepped the elder son of Xehanort. Jade stole a quick glance at the school, before turning a sideways glance at Roxas. Alongside him two girls emerged from his vehicle, a blond girl he didn't know and . . . . Vita again. He nodded casually, his face expressionless. In the meantime, Snow gestured for Jack and James to exit the vehicle and assisted in removing their luggage. "Alrightee, we're at the school. I have some other business to tend to so I can't escort you inside, but this here is Roxas and he'll take care of you." -Fiona- The blonde still wore a look of concern. "I truly hope you both are right. I hope we haven't offended him somehow." While Kurai did reassure her that this was the most social he'd seen Azriel, Fiona couldn't help but have her doubts. She rose from her seat, smoothing down her plaid skirt and striding toward the door. "Right, well, we should be heading off now"--she turned and waved to the cashier--"thanks for the ice cream, ma'am! And it was good seeing you, Somrene, Ember!" With that, Fiona exited the building, holding the door open for Kurai and Dex to follow. She stretched, eyeing the street and the passersby. "Geez, I sure wish we'd brought our bikes. The academy is quite a ways from here." Strangely she didn't see Azriel anywhere, which she hadn't expected. A part of her still wished that she could've offered a proper farewell. Azure Flame 670 Posted February 1, 2016 "Didn't everyone else get into vehicles to get there?" Kurai asked, putting his hands in his pockets. "Although, there is another way we could get there fast too." he said, pulling his right hand out of his pocket and snapping his fingers. Suddenly, a portal of darkness appeared right in front of them. "We could take this straight to the academy, and it wouldn't take any time at all."
