Here's just a idea for the final battle and ending. I would like to hear your opinions.

Here it is:

 

(Sora and Kairi enters the final room of a castle to only find Xehanort looking out a window.

Sora: Are you........Xehanort?

Xehanort: You're here........ to end me and the darkness? Isn't that right, Sora?

Sora:!

Kairi: Explain yourself. What were you planning to do, by making Kingdom Hearts appear on Destiny islands?

Xehanort: Making it appear? No. Kingdom Hearts was always part of your world. It was a part of every world. But you were blinded by the light to see the truth.

Sora:Huh?

Kairi: We were......blinded?

Xehanort: When people encounter the darkness, they try destroy it, forget it, remove it from their hearts, and pretend it never existed at all. So I open the door of darkness to obtain Kingdom Hearts. So the darkness can never be forgotten......

Kairi: Darkness......forgotten....?

Xehanort and

Unicornis Foreteller

: Welcome Sora, the wielder of the keyblade! You were led on false prophecies...........You foolish savior of worlds. (Sora and Kairi turns around find the foreteller clothes on the floor and the foreteller itself disappeared)

Sora: What?!

Kairi: Foreteller?

Xehanort: If the darkness can not be accepted.......Who cares if the worlds are destroyed. Let the worlds be drowned in darkness. It was I who brought you this far.... (summons keyblade) So that you atone for your sins of every world, Sora!

 

Gameplay idea:

Similar to no heart and the Xehanort fight at the

Terra story, Xehanort will these types of attacks.

 

Basic keyblade attacks: Xehanort will occasionally attack Sora with his keyblade. Pretty easily to dodge it.

 

Shotlocks:

Probably his most dangerous attack, Xehanort will shotlock you. You can tell he's using that move by seeing circle of darkness gathering around Sora. Reflectra would take care of it.

 

Magic attacks:

 

Similar to Sora, Xehanort will use magic. Here's the list of magic he has:

 

Thunder: Xehanort will summon many thunderbolts around him. Reflect wouldn't be useful, since they come down too fast. Just stay away from him when he does that.

 

Firaga: Xehanort summons three large fire balls at Sora. Block or dodge roll should take care of it.

 

Deep freeze: Xehanort will make screen white and thus make Sora frozen in ice. Players will have to quickly press buttons to free him or Xehanort will end Sora by casting ice barrage on him.

 

Confuse: Xehanort will reverse the controls, make certain stuff on command menu unusable, turn the screen upside down, or turn the whole screen black. The effect should last for 2 minutes.

 

Meteor crash: Xehanort will summons giant meteors at you. Only leaf bracer can help you now.

 

Sonic blade: Basically do, you know. I trust you know to take care of this.

 

Rock magic (Don't know the actual name): Xehanort will summon giants of rocks and throw at Sora in the air or underground.

 

Second form: After beating his first form, Sora will be transported to a weird dimension, where Sora is endlessly falling and Xehanort will be that huge nobody dragon from KH2. The battle is just going to be like those dive battles in KH DDD. His weak spots are the same weak spots from KH2. Pretty easy fight, I say.

After that, Xehanort and Sora are transported back in the final room in Hallow Bastion castle.

 

Xehanort: *Gasp*......Why.....Why do you......hate darkness? Can't.... Can't you.........accept darkness at all!? Is there no place for me, in any world?!

???:Don't flatter yourself, old man!

Sora: Xigbar!

Xigbar: You're the one who thinking that darkness is SO important, when yet its not! You make me angry......for all the times you were using me for your little games.

Xehanort:..........

Xigbar: Sora! He's just a clump of darkness! Show him what's light is truly about! *Throws a new keyblade that can only be equipped after the game been completed*

Xehanort: Darkness.......give me strength! Let me use your power to end this foolish boy once and for all!

 

Gameplay idea:

Here's the true final battle!

Xehanort has hid inside a giant ball of darkness. Seems easy, right? WRONG. This isn't any ball of darkness. This ball of darkness can transformed into a giant and more deadly version of heartless. Sora will have to face every single kind of heartless in the franchise. After his final form, Xehanort is finally defeated.

 

Xehanort: The only thing I wanted.....was not be forgotten.....help......pl...please....

Sora: I'll help.......you. *Closes door of darkness*

You......don't have.....hide anymore. You don't have to......be afraid. The voices that were calling me........the light that were calling for help within the darkness.....It was you, wasn't it?

Xehanort: I.....I...

The worlds, they won't forget darkness and you anymore.

Xehanort: Sora....

Sora: And no one will be hurt anymore. After all, we've come too far to turn back, right?

Xehanort: (Chuckles and smiles) Yeah.... *Disappears in bits of lights

Sora: ! T

Xehanort: Thank you Sora........for everything.........

Xigbar:Finally, it's all over. Now I can go on a vacation.

(Outside of castle and one week later of the final battle)

Kairi: Ansem is really excited about rebuilding the castle, isn't he?

Lea: Yeah, that's great......

Kairi: Lea, about Roxas.....

Lea: Don't worry, I'm fine. As long I believe that our hearts are connected, he's still fine. Right?

Kairi: Yeah. Anyway, I need to work hard too. This time, I'm going to follow in my grandmother foot prints into becoming a priestess.

Sora: You gave up....being a keyblade wielder?

Kairi: Uh-huh. But don't worry! I'll be wielding the keyblade once I mastered being a priestess. After all, I mustn't make my grandmother disappointed, right?

Sora: Uh-huh. Kairi, you can do it. I believe in you.

(Sora then leaves till Kairi say something)

Kairi: So is this....goodbye? Of course, Radiant Garden isn't your world, is it? You have to go to make sure worlds aren't corrupted by the darkness, right?

Sora: Kairi...

Kairi: It's okay! I knew this was coming. I'm fine, really. I'll be alright........Because I'm going to do my best. And it's alright to cry if I don't give give up. So......so......So.... (Crys and hugs Sora)

Sora: Kairi......!

Kairi: (Crys) ...Sora!

Sora: Kairi.......I may leave this world.......But we'll always be together. I believe that if you don't forget the times we been in.....our hearts will be connected. Okay?

Kairi: (Crys)

Sora: So.....Kairi.

Kairi: (Lets go and calms down)

Sora: (Smiles) Thanks for everything.

Sora then summons keyblade and unlock the world keyhole, and walks towards the screen as every expect Sora dissappears. Then the screen turns to white as the credits roll showing what what happened after Sora left Radiant Garden.

 

Secret ending:

Lea: Kairi, don't you feel it?

Kairi: Feel what?

Lea: Roxas heart. He's alive.

 

(Then it shows Roxas sleeping against a tree as "RECONNECT" appears on the screen.)

 

So, what you think?

This is a pretty badass idea!  The only thing I didn't like about it though is the part concerning Xigbar.  While I do think he'll end up betraying Xehanort and attempt to kill him, I don't think he'd do it to help Sora and the gang.  He'd just do it for his own personal gain, ya know?  The first and third encounters you described sound interesting, but the second one sounds too easy.  This is the final battle against Xehanort, after all, so all the final battles against him should be pretty challenging, am I right?  And also, I gather that the fated place where the Seven and Thirteen are supposed to gather is the Keyblade Graveyard, so odds are the final battle will be there! And also, SORA AND KAIRI NEED TO KISS BEFORE THE END OF KHIII! X_X

 

But yeah, you provided an interesting idea there!  Kudos to you!

Interesting, but I don't see Xigbar turning toward the light. I think he too will be destroyed along with the thirteen.

Fascinating...

 

It could use a bit of work in some places, but overall, I like it! And Xigbar betraying Xehanort makes sense...hell, I could see him doing it as a way of atoning for his past sins. Maybe throw Y.Xehanort in there somewhere, do something with a better form of Time Travel too.

as for that ending scene....it reminds me a lot of the ending for KLONOA 2. The dialogue between Sora and Xehanort is very similar between Klonoa and the final boss, about not wanting to be forgotten and then a reply of "you don't have to be scared anymore" etc etc.

i mean i'm not really digging the ending with Xehanort at all. It's clear Nomura wants us to see Xehanort as some twisted and intelligent antagonist so having him be afraid of being forgotten sort of comes out of nowhere.

I only borrowed some stuff from Klonoa 2. I couldn't think of a entirely original ending, so I borrow some text from it and mix it up a little.
