Sora's new appearence coming later in the game?

Posted

Hi! I was just wondering if Sora get's his new outfit later in KH3 like in KH2. 'Cus in the E3 2015 trailer when Sora is jumping over the stonewall and runs towards the river, I notice he still has his clothes from KH2, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed it. Of course there's not an actuall answer to this untill the game is released, but I want to hear your thoughts about it:)!

Dude, watch the trailer again. You clearly have missed his new clothes that we see in the Tangled world Kingdom of Corona. Or, if you still don't see it, then this would help.

According to some theory, Sora's new outfit indicates his mastery of keyblade. You can see he can't use the keyblade-shifting abily when he is in old costume. And after he changed his costume,he can use that ability, meaning he will have proper training in kh3

I assume that he gains it after a short amount of in-game time.  Maybe he gets in the Olympus world? I have no idea.

Well, every time we got a new costume it was after the tutorial so it'll probably be the same here. I just hope it retains the KH2 clothes powers.

Actually in the 2.8 trailer it is shown that he is able to use keyblade transformations in his kh2 outfit lol

Aah yes I forget that. Thanks for correcting me

pretty sure Nomura said that the reason we see Sora in both outfits is because they were part of the assets that they had finished at the time or something. I mean I'm sure we'll see a bit of the KH2 outfit but it'll most likely be quickly booted out the door to make room for the new one.

Maybe I'm the one mistaking, but I edited my post with pictures added so you can look at the pictures.

I think his new outfit just shows that he has become at least slightly more mature. Seeing that in the past, he rarely puts two and two together and instantly puts his trust in complete strangers. Like when he first see's and learns about the Underdome. Thinking that The Grid and Space Paranoids are exactly the same world when it comes to Tron (if I remember correctly). And instantly putting his trust into Neku when they first met, and look where it got him.

He might get it when Zeus will claim him as a true hero.

It is possible that we can change from outfit. I don't think they do this here.
