This is, of course, if we assume they still use a level up system with abilities and all that. Since it's only going to be about a 2-3 hour game apparently, what do you think the level cap will be? I'd say level 25 is max, with 5 bosses total, and the ability to level up a form or something.

My issue is more to do with how we start; I mean at the end of BBS and carrying on the secret episode where the story for 0.2 will resume from Aqua was pretty powerful; therefore I hope we don't start of at a ' level one' point, I mean from a chronological perspective it wouldn't make sense, though I wouldn't have anything against Aqua ' levelling up' to a degree without seeming too OP

I don't know what they will do with levels. They might not have any leveling since you finish it in a few hours.

Well, speaking from a video game perspective, starting at level 1 makes a lot of sense, but considering the length of the game level 1 is rather low. Unless the system is different for this particular title.

I doubt Nomura would need to clarify this, especially with the game likely to release this year. Plus, we can just wait. More fun when we find out for ourselves.

 Maybe I was slightly unclear last time, when I said level 1; I meant more along the lines of Aqua's abilities/capabilities; for me personally it wouldn't make sense to have Aqua pretty much start at ground zero again; I would at least expect her to have an element of the strength she had in BBS and the Final/Secret episodes, I would personally have her start with the essential abilities and even add a few magic spells

 

Then again until we get more information about the gameplay other than its'so a hybrid between the numbered titles and BBS it's hard to say one way or the other

Yeah, but it's a game. No point in being OP from the beginning even if it won't make sense story wise. I'm not saying you're wrong about Aqua's abilities, I'm just saying if they are going to take her power into consideration, they will need to power up the enemies more than what is necessary for the start of the game just to compensate for the protagonist's power. Plus, speaking of this hybrid gameplay, I would like to see how well it goes. If it's successful, they may need to implement it into KH3, if possible.

I think it's a little too early to be thinking about level cap since we know so little but I think it should be around 50 even if you only get to 20 when you beat it. It'd be similar to BBS where you can beat the game at like level 40 but the cap is at 99 so you can get OP

i bet if anything just like bbs fm for the psp is if u had save file or the trophy unlocked for 2.5 aqua will start aout at a set lvl 25-50.

This is rather true. I've played some games like that where you start off with tons of abilities, but you don't level up. And after you beat the prologue (or whatever it is they take place in) then it goes to the main game where you don't have any full power, but you level up now. Like Lightning's little intro in Final Fantasy 13-2. You do a quick battle or two with Caius, having all these ridiculously awesome attacks with Odin, then it switches over to Serah and Noel, who level up now, but don't have squat of power. :PBut this will be slightly different with Aqua, where the 2-3 hours are all that the game is. There's no shame in it, but that is true of what Recusant Sora said: There won't be much point in levelling up in such a short game. Unless you're playing one of those cheap $5 Indie games that only satisfy you for like an hour. XDRock on!
