I would if I had already seen it once .

What is it with people getting butthurt over having to play a different character? I just don't get how some people can hate characters like Roxas and Raiden just because they aren't the same main characters as the other games. The prologue is most certainly fine and I would never skip it for anything. I honestly think it was a creative and interesting way to introduce Roxas and to add more mystery to the plot. It would have been so much weaker if you just started as Sora waking up, there would be like no explanation whatsoever, or at least any explanation would have to be after the fact and it would feel really rushed and sloppy. This way was much better.

When you've started 20 new games in KH2/KH2FM you'll realise how good this option would have been, honestly.

I just rushed thorugh it, the only good thing about it is fighting the giant Nobody (I don't know his name in English) and Axel.

"Roxas is a garbage character, who would like to play as him?"

Well maybe on future replays I would like to skip it sometimes... I mean I like it, but once you know what happens it gets kinda boring sometimes.

If I never played Days I would probably always skip it.

But actually knowing Roxas' full story makes it alot more interesting

To be honest I always thought Roxas was a pretty pointless character before i played Days, He didn't really seem to have much impact in the overall story of KH2 besides being a part of Axel's character arc

Yeah, I don't get it either; I mean some people I've seen act like Roxas murdered their mother or something. Its weird too because I don't see too many people complaining about playing as Riku in CoM or DDD, or as Terra, Ven, and Aqua in BbS (you didn't even play as Sora here). So why just Roxas?

The prologue of Kingdom Hearts II brings all the relevant from the previous three chronological titles to the forefront of your mind, as well as introducing new threads to the story quilt.

I wouldn't be opposed to the option (after beating it once) but I would never do it myself; as much as I thought I would hate the prologue while playing it for the first time, it sucker punches you in the feels at the end.
