Zero games were released on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console in Japan or Europe/Australia during 2015.

I blame the heavy focus on the Wii U.

Really? None? Wow, I find it hard to believe and yet I do.

Yeah, not surprised. A shame the passion for having GBA games on the 3DS basically died when Nintendo was like "sure you can have GBA games... on the Wii U!". Oh well. Hope for the next handheld, neh?

Yep. Nothing.

Yeah, they should have put SNES and GBA games on it.

I honestly doubt there'll ever be a new dedicated gaming handheld.

Nintendo is doing a very poor job with managing the Virtual Consoles in general even on Wii U.My biggest problem is the slow releases, but its also weird that SNES,GBA,N64 and DS games are not available to download on 3DS,I'm not an emulator expert though so it might be because of technical limitations of the system. And its also annoying to see a game you want available in one region but not yours.

I think 64 is a bit of stretch and DS is kinda silly since it does have backwards compatibility. Region issues also occur for PSOne Classics and PS2 Classics on PS3.

I really don't get how the 3DS could run a game like Mario Kart 7 but not Mario Kart 64.Having DS games on the eshop would be a good thing to get some of the rare DS game, like on the Wii U they released Metroid Prime Trilogy and Xenoblade and I believe those games run on the console itself rather then an emulator since its backward compatible so it should be easy to do on the 3DS as well since its backward compatible with the DS

It could run them but again they haven't even done SNES. Developing a DS emulator for 3DS, especially this late is silly.

That didn't stop Sony from making the PS3 compatible with PS1 games and having them on the PS Store. I know PS1 is heaps old, but still, DS VC could help and makes more sense than having it on Wii U.

I disagree. DS games were still being made for two years after the 3DS' launch. Waste of resources.

They got all of the good Virtual Console games on Wii U that North America is still waiting on, so I'd say that makes it about even... Not that we got many 3DS VC games out here, either.
