January 14, 20169 yr I mean, you might as well. It's reasonably cheap these days, something like $30-40 for the Legendary Edition, and that's when it's not on sale. Or you can get the standard for like $10-20. I haven't played it much because it's just not my kind of game, but I will say the game works infinitely better on PC just because Bethesda games tend to be much easier to control with mouse and keyboard (plus mods are great, obviously). If you're into sword and sorcery type games and you've got a machine that can handle it and mods, then I'd say go for it.

January 14, 20169 yr I'd be playing it on PS3. Hrm... in that case, I'd honestly say skip it. I originally tried playing it on 360, and it's just not at all suited for a controller. I've also heard though can't confirm that the PS3 version of Skyrim is by far the buggiest, which for a Bethesda game is saying a lot.
January 14, 20169 yr I'd get the PC version since you have access to mods, but regardless the game is phenomenal.
January 14, 20169 yr I have the game on every platform. And without bias here, it is buggy on all three. It is Bethesda we're talking about here. Though the PS3 version isn't bad. Not by any means AT ALL. I wont lie, the PC version is by far better due to the mods. Though the PS3 version still is great and enjoyable. Only issue I've had before with it is a bug once in a blue moon. I say get it. This game will suck you into it from when you first begin it. It's an extremely fun, and complex game and I couldn't recommend it enough. Took me a while before I took the plunge and got it. And let let tell you 96, its time to take that plunge. Great game. I'd be playing it on PS3.
January 14, 20169 yr So some misconceptions here... it's actually great with a controller, and mods are definitely not needed to enjoy the game, so in that sense the PS3 version is fine. With that being said, the PS3 version is the worst performing. It's tolerable for the most part, so you should be fine with it. However, don't get it if you want a focused game in any sense. It's more about exploration than anything else, the narrative is just kind of there, and it's honestly one of the worst questlines in the game.
January 15, 20169 yr It's a great game. I have it on PC and it is practically endless. There is so much to do in this game.

January 15, 20169 yr How do you finish it? Haha. You don't, lol. It's open ended. Stop whenever you feel like it. It took me a couple of tries to get into it since I'm so used to story based games.

January 15, 20169 yr Lol. Wow, all the other open-world games I know have a story end. I mean, it has the main story, which has an ending, it's just that's not really the point of the game.
I'm on the fence about this game. Any thoughts are appreciated.
