Everyone in the fan based community are questioning the new 3DS title, but what if the answer is within Sora's pod? I was thinking about it...and I asked myself "what else could Nomura base this story on?" Wouldn't it be cool if he was showing what Sora was seeing as he was gaining his memories back?We know what went on with the organization, but maybe Nomura wanted us to take a journey in a 3D title to see how his memories were being brought back...or even in that case "affected". What we know is that Xion was messing with his memories because of her existence. Could it be that he got these dreams from the fact that his nobody and replica clashed? What if he was trying to gain his memories, but because of Xion they were getting distracted. He could've been seeing scattered pieces of memories as Xion was moving around, which would make sense to why he saw himself and Riku from Kingdom Hearts 1.So overall, he couldn't awaken until Xion and Roxas returned. Which means, he could've been seeing disturbing memories that were breaking (Ex: Sora falling from the sky). As the memories were breaking, maybe he learns something else from those dreams, which opens the door for the next title.

Hmm.... I think this whole memory business is getting old..

I thought that this could be the plot, it makes the most sense to me

i also think this memory crap is getting old

Those were my exact thoughts from the beggining when KH3D was announced. However, Riku's part is still a mystery to me.

that would be really cool, but to be honest i dont think ill get the game

Awesome theory man

this is great theory i would agree with it 100% if nomura hadnt said there would be NEW worlds. Where would those fit in?

maybe one of the new worlds could be worlds ven visited as he regains his memories he sees vens memories too what do u guys think?

Well, that would be cool, but I really don't think they'd glean an entire game from that. A lot of it would just be repeated.

Omg! If this is what it is about, I swear My head will explode lol. But whatever another kh game will be good.

Eh, maybe. But I really don't see the need to fill a whole game with something so useless. I mean how is it relevant to the plot at all?

well it is possible, but we will see in about a year right? :D

How does this explain why you play as riku, also this is speculation not info

i guess we just wont know until we play it for ourselves

Not a bad plot, but I'd rather have them fill the BBS/KH1 gap than waste time in Sora's dreams.

The creator said that this is a new kingdom hearts game, it will have new worlds, and he also said that the theme for the storie is trust. Not memories, it just doesn't make sense to me. Besides, he wasn't probably going to make this anyway, he only made it because nintendo asked him to. So i'm sure the storie can't be that important any way.
