For those of you that don't know Weird Al sings this song called "Canadian Idiot" and being a proud Canadian this really pisses me off!

I know what some of you might be thinking, "Well there's a song called American Idiot" but that was from an American band! Where as "Canadian Idiot" is not sung by Canadian peoples!

And for crying out loud! If you lisen to the song you will notice some of it is Bull! And BTW, curling IS a real sport!

Not all Canadians love hockey, I hate it! But that's just me. I we don't pronounce about "a boot" I've never heard anyone say that before I my whole life! There is much more I could say about this song but I won't,

No wonder some people have dumb ideas about us.

Don't take much offense. That's what Wierd Al does I do get where you're coming from, though, even if I'm not Canadian I'm sure there've probably been some complaint letters. I actually like the song, though, both American Idiot (I like a few Green Day songs) and Canadian Idiot. Just laugh along with it (:

When we end our sentences, we end it differently than americans. Generally, we don't go down, but slightly up. Kind of like aussies, but not to such a big extent.

We also pronounce words differently.

i.e.; we say, "house." (our u is almost not there at often times.) americans say, "haose". (because we have a softer ow than americans, they often mock us of saying "hoose", "aboot", etc.)

we say, "sorry" americans say, "sarry".

I'm pretty sure he made an apology for the song. personally I love weird als music. I wish he would of continued his tv show, but alas no luck.
