I would really appreciate help understanding this. Okay, so: Apprentice Xehanort, this guy...

 

Became a Nobody (Xemnas), and a Heartless, and the Heartless is this guy...

 

After becoming a Heartless, the Heartless went back in time and gave Young Xehanort the ability to time travel. But I'm confused as to what happened next for the Heartless (Brown Robed Guy). Did...

A) The Heartless transferred his time travel power to Young Xehanort and thus lose the power himself? Because he lost the power, he's just been hanging around the Islands for a REALLY long time.

B) Gave all his time travel power to Young Xehanort and immediately popped back to his present time.

C) After teaching Young Xehanort how to time travel, he immediately time traveled back to his own point in time.

Again, I'd really appreciate anyone taking the time to explain this to me.

From what I can gather, Apprentice Xehanort's Heartless gives Young Xehanort to power to time travel and stays on Destiny Islands... waiting.

If that's the case then he was even there when TAV arrived.

I for myself think it's option C.

He traveled back in time, gave his younger self the power to time travel and told him the plan, and then traveled back to his own time.

 

 

In this cutscene YX says: "Ansem first sent me on my way and then placed himself here when the time was right."

 

This part lets me assume that he wasn't there the whole time.

 

Terra-Xehanort became Xemnas and Ansem. When Ansem took over Riku, he gave up his body and traveled back in time to Young Xehanort's time. From then forward, YX traveled time going forward and gathering Xehanort's versions of himself. They all gathered in TWTNW to complete the thirteen. They failed and all went back to their own time frames.

That was when he possessed Riku? I never knew that.

It doesn't make sense bc it's wrong. Ansem and Xemnas were born and then Ansem traveled back in time to give YMX the power to time travel and tell him wazzup. Ansem then left to return to his current time and later possessed Riku's body. Once he possessed Riku's body he couldn't time travel anymore. ( unless he gets picked up by YMX)
