Happy birthday to Motomu Toriyama, the director of the most FINAL FANTASY games ever and my favourite developer. Among his achievements include the first direct-sequel and first trilogy in FF history, a game with a perfect review from Famitsu, the fastest selling FF game ever, and around 30 million copies sold worldwide for his games. Toriyama is also a member of the Final Fantasy Committee and resides in Square Enix's 1st Business Division. Look forward to his new project later this year.

    We only for certain he's younger than Kitase (turning 50) but older than Nomura (turning 46) so he's 47, 48 or 49.

     

    And yes, he's made some cute stuff in his games, especially X-2.
