RWBY: Dusk

 

The World of Remnant has been in piece for several years and life was good. Hunters and Huntresses trained and defended lives from Grimm, but a new force of darkness strikes fear into people and Remnant grows dark.

Dive into the World of Remnant and face against Grimm and the forces of evil as a Hunter or Huntress. Start your main character as a student at Beacon.

Well I think emerald was going to help me by changing her second characters name. I'll start after that.

I'm good with any time as well, and I am really looking forward to the start of this RP, whenever it happens!  Additionally, best of wishes regarding your midterms, Angel, and whoever else is suffering from this dreadful blight on school and college education that is the midterms.

I'm gonna be pretty busy for the upcoming days, but I'm fine whenever.

I've done so now Sukai, Sepia is Nutmeg now. It may change again to another n name in the near future but it's that for now.

I don't think that I will be able to dedicate a day to RP a lot, since I have a full schedule (college full-time and working part-time + life), but I was intending to post at least once per day, maybe twice if the posts can be short enough (I tend to write long posts).  My down-time will be dedicated to studying, but I might be able to get the most time in on Wed afternoon, Saturday or Friday night, where I could sit down for a few hours and just roleplay.  I'll go with the flow and see what I can do.  I love the idea of having a very active day of RPing, especially with it being RWBY-themed.  Very exciting stuff; I just wish our schedules would permit it more.

I could change that.  I didn't think about that beforehand.  I was originally thinking it would break up the norm, plus it seemed odd to have everyone the same age.

 

I kind of would like to have teammates who are players, so let me know what I should do there.

I know this probably isn't the best place to ask about this, but I never fully understood how many years it takes to become a Hunter or Huntress, or what makes students Hunters or Huntresses.  It might have been elaborated in the show or on RoosterTeeth's website or elsewhere, but if someone can get back to me on this I would love to know more about it.

 

Regarding the time to start, how about Thursday so that Angel and others can finish up on exams?  That seems like the best fit, if nobody minds the wait.

It's four years but if she's a senior then we have un even teams.11 freshmen 1 senior

I think Sapphira's a junior or a sophomore with a really late birth month for school, if she were accepted normally.  However, I have a thought.  If MA is accepting of the idea, perhaps she could be a late bloomer who enters the academy a few years late but starts as a freshman, sort of like some folks enter college/uni late.  If not this, maybe we can tone down her age a little for the sake of plot.

I was thinking that she would be a sophomore originally, but I actually am really liking the thought of her entering the academy later.  Would it be acceptable that she joined at a later age, and is indeed a freshman?  Perhaps she was unable to attend earlier because she had to help out with her siblings while her mother was ill.

Standard RWBY Fanon doctrine is to use whatever initials you can

 

And Monty's team names rule only say that they have to be color related and not be entwined with the leader name.

Another question.

How do we start exactly?

Will it be the first day at Beacon before we have formed teams, or one random day while attending Beacon?

It'll be the first day but I want to get the team names situation resolved first. Do guys have any ideas.
