So................about Xehanort's ultimate plan

Posted

To sum most of the plan up:Xehanort ultimately need 7 hearts of light and 13 hearts of darkness to clash together in order to recreate the keyblade war, which would lead to the emergence of the "true" Kingdom Hearts (Yeah, the one in Birth by Sleep isn't the true one either........for some retconny reason).Which is why he had his nobody to establish Organization XIII in the first place and send his heartless on a journey of time traveling shenanigans(though if he knew about the plan all along then what's the point of pursuing another fake KH and all the ruckus he made in KH 1 then),had Xemnas and Xigbar make a lie about nobodies not being able to have their own hearts......etc

But I gotta ask:After the clash happen, after he open the portal to the real Kingdom Hearts and gets inside of it........then what? What's he exactly planning to do?Sure he claims he quote unquote "wanna restore the balance of light and darkness in the universe" at some point but he never specified how exactly he'll do so once he's there like...........what's he's gonna do?become a god?meet the KH version of God(As in God of the KH universe not real world God)?Just what is he exactly going to do once he's there?

All this supposedly grand master plan seems more like a gamble to me cuz once he gets the X-Blade and get inside, what is he planning on doing once he's there?Cuz if his idea of "restoring balance" is by killing everyone and having the heartless devour innocent people and worlds, then really he isn't that much different from any cookie-cutter villain that has a God-complex and he doesn't even know if said plan is going  to even work.Cuz with all of his parts, the heartless, the nobody and his true self too(might as well make a Persona reference while I can ),all of what they did throughout the series is some sort of attempt to ascend to supposed godhood and kill everyone

Ansem SoD was trying to sink the universe into the darkness

Xemnas was trying to basically erase everything by sinking the universe into nothingness

and the real Xehanort, even before his possession of Terra, seemed not so much different.Especially with his plan to make an entire organization full of clones of himself,he basically think of himself as a god at this point thinking that genocide is a justifiable attempt if it meant he'd reach Kingdom Hearts

So really, what makes Xehanort so special? His plan sounds like something that's gonna backfire spectacularly in his face once he finally reaches Kingdom Hearts and I won't be surprised if that's what's gonna happen in KH3 so they can make a grand intro for the villain of the next saga once Mr Baldy McDarkness bites the dust(and hopefully stays dead) then reveal some dude who we never saw before as the ultimate mastermind behind everything(Cuz that absolutely never happened before)

His master plan is to create an equilibrium of LIGHT and DARKNESS. He feels that the 'tyranny of light' has caused an imbalance in the universe, once he enters Kingdom Hearts he desires to re-create all the worlds with an equal balance of both light and darkness.

As for the other things you said, he is supposedly a master tactician so he's probably done some sort of studying and research on what could possibly happen if his plan backfires. The guy probably has a few tricks up his sleeve.

Xehanort is like a scientist who wants to gain knowledge. That's it. This makes him more special than every other villain, because it's not a typical goal for someone. What he expects to do after he will be successful? I think that even he doesn't know it.

I think the idea of a Kingdom Hearts version of God may be a little crazy and might make things a bit complicated. It's an interesting idea, however, the lore likely would've mentioned it by now, especially with all the stories about Kingdom Hearts, one about a God would have popped up at some point. All we know so far is that Xehanort wants Kingdom Hearts. Also, considering this game ends the Xehanort saga, when he does die, he will remain dead. No point in keeping him alive when this saga ends. Unless, they somehow make him important in the next saga, but not the main antagonist.

So is he really a villain?

What does he exactly mean by creating an equilibrium if his means are to harm everyone around him for his experiment? What's the point of restoring balance if there is no one alive to see it?

I can assure he ain't the first villain to pursue knowledge and he's absolutely not special in that regard

Father from Full Metal Alchemist (the manga and the brotherhood remake)pursued knowledge and created a legion of homonculi(artificial humans that are semi-immortal) to open a portal through a huge sacrifice

Madara Uchiha from Naruto had a similar plan to Xehanort too and it gloriously backfired on him near the end

I'm asking the question of:how's he gonna do it once he's inside? What'll he really do once he is there and supposedly create his supposed balance? How will he acheive said balance once he's inside Kingdom Hearts? The only way he can acheive any of this without contrived bullshit is either to become a god,or pull an SMT2 and have him challenge the God of the KH universe.

"Fool... You would risk an apocalypse out of sheer curiosity?" - Eraqus

"I swore that I would survive... and be there to see what awaited beyond the Keyblade War!" - Xehanort

Seems more like he's just curious. As for what he'd do after entering Kingdom Hearts, well... surely he must be analytical enough to know that it may not go his way. But do keep in mind, that he knows of the 'Book of Prophecies', which states "On that land shall darkness previal and light expire." Xehanort believes that the future has already been written, that destiny is never left to chance. So he must surely be planning, ultimately, to bring the world into darkness, just as he continued to do as Ansem. He used the reason to Eraqus, "Darkness is a beginning, you see, not an end" and questions before, "When the darkness falls, will we be worthy of the precious light the legend speaks of?"

All that said, it seems to me like he really is trying to bring the world to darkness in order to see what happens. Whether the world will return to light? Whether light and darkness are truly at balance? Whether the people will be worthy of that precious light once darkness has finally fallen? Perhaps they are all answers he seeks.

What's he exactly planning to do?Sure he claims he quote unquote "wanna restore the balance of light and darkness in the universe" at some point but he never specified how exactly he'll do so once he's there like...........what's he's gonna do?become a god?

pretty much, he said he would "join" (i read the fine print and it said fuse) with KH in one of his reports in bbs. with the power that KH has, plus he might even have the X-blade, thats kind of what they are suggesting at this point.

So he basically want to become a God is what you're saying

No seriously that's what it is.Kingdom Hearts is more or less the center of the universe, the heart of all living things.

So it's not really about restoring balance,it's him basically wanting to make himself the new God................which is almost what 90% of RPG villains want to do

well if he is God then he can literally do anything he wants, so can can still do what he "says" he wants to do but....if it comes to that then it would be up in the air if he does what he says. although i'm 90% sure he will be corrupted by power and even if he intended to make his ideals come to fruition to begin with he probably won't do it. still i doubt it will even get that far out of hand, we will probably stop him on KH or before he can land on it.

Well, I'm guessing that when Xehanort does achieve his goal, he'll wipe out all the people that ever stood in his way, and perhaps maybe he will truly restore balance between light and darkness!  But if he does that at the cost of worlds being destroyed and innocents upon innocent falling to the darkness, then it's all for nothing, for darkness would take over in the end, ya know?  Maybe what he wants to see is if the universe can survive a second Keyblade War!  He said, and I quote: "They say that ruin brings about creation!  So what then, would a second Keyblade War bring?"  I'm guessing he wants to see if the universe can be reborn from its own ashes, so to speak.  Like to start everything over from scratch, where light and darkness are equal, and people who are being born into this new world have no concept of using light or using darkness for their own means, ya know?  I don't know, I just thought of this right now, but it sounds interesting! :O

Sooooo.destroy the old universe so that a new one will be born in it's place?I know he's experimenting but that doesn't change the fact that what he's doing is still genocide......AND IT'S ALL BASED ON A THEORY HE CAN'T CONFIRM YET!(It's literally like the Fal'cie from FFXIII who want to destroy Cocoon so they can chat with God*I mean Bhunivelze)

What if things backfired, and I'm sure it will, how'll be able to fix it?The only way I see Xehanort achieving any of this is through becoming a god, which is really the only way to make and form a universe of your own.

That's true, which is why it'll be most interesting to see what Xehanort does when he finally achieves his goal!  But whatever victory he may have will probably be short-lived, cuz Sora and the gang will end him, ya know?  Yes, what he's doing is genocide, but he simply doesn't care, because all he wants is knowledge!  And to achieve balance!  He's truly a demented fiend!  There are other ways to restore balance, ya know?  But then again, I love the old coot because of his insanity, ya know? :D
