We've had a discussion about this in other topics, but I wanted to talk about this in more detail. Here's where I stand.

 

Larxene did nothing but be rude and mean to Roxas from the moment they met. She had no reason to be mean - heck she hadden't even met him. I can not like anyone who does that - it goes against every fiber of my moral code. I see nothing likable about her at all. The only thing I wanted to do during that training session was fire my magic at her. So I want to know: why do some of you like Larxene? Do you see some redeeming qualities in her somewhere? I want to know where you're coming from so I can understand you opinion better.

Larxene gave me life. Her sass along with Axel's  saved the overly sappy and ehhh COM story. It's a crime she was jossed so early in 358/2 Days with the rest of the COM members so we could have more time to ponder why does Xion have to exist at all 

 

 

 

So you basically hate a villain for playing their role????

 

Yes, because villains tend to be horrible people and do immoral things.  I don't like horrible people and people who do immoral things.  I judge people based on their actions - hard to believe, right?

Nothing. I don't like Larxene, she's just a generic obligatory bitch female character.

Nothing... I don´t like her... in the way she gave me so much trouble and she is such a... you know... bad girl

 

But in all seriousness she is a Villain. In fact I´d like to think she is more villainious than many others in the KH series... Nobody beats Xehanort of course but Larxene work her way to be a despicable being.

 

Is kind of a hate/love situation

I prefer characters that have a personality, so she's awesome. I'm not into the female characters that don't do much or needs "saving" too often. People previously have described why I like her, so there's that.

Nothing. The only thing she made me want to do is kill her. I mean she sucked but I guess it sucks being the only women in Org. 13 (not including Xion). 

Personally, I like snarky, sarcastic characters, whether hero or villain. Larxene is the type of villain I just love to hate, her constant taunting makes it all the more satisfying when you kick her ass,

I like her hairstyle. So unique

She's not my favorite by any stretch, but to me she's one of those fun characters that you love to hate. She's not someone you're supposed to respect as a person, Nobody or not. I like her voice acting, which imo is among the best in the franchise. The way she talks and moves is snarky and playful and it sets her apart from the other characters. Roxas is probably my favorite KH character, and I still think her suggestion for him to bash his head against the window is hilarious.

 

People can like different characters for different reasons. If you find Larxene's 'witchiness' distasteful, that's cool -- some traits can just grate on you.

Absolutely nothing. I'm glad that psychopath doesn't have anymore screen time.

Ok, time for someone who thinks of her as his favorite character to step in. That's right, Larxene is my favorite character in the series and she is my ultimate waifu. I nearly screamed in joy when I got her medal in Unchained yesterday.

 

The simple answer is, her personality. She's sassy as all hell and an overall bitch, but she owns it and gives no f*. She spends all of CoM screwing with Sora and using his fading memories (thanks to Namine) to trick him, making him realize her forgot the girl he loves, then taunting it him for it. She definitely has a lot more going in the personality department than half the Organization. Which is really saying something considering she's not one of the main group (Ansem's 6 apprentices, Axel, & Saix) from Org 13. She doesn't just antagonize protagonists like Sora or even Roxas in the brief time she's seen in Days, but she'll even act snarky towards other members of Organization 13, as shown in a few scenes with Axel & Vexen.

 

Part of me questions if some of this behavior doesn't come from her believing she doesn't have a heart as a Nobody and makes me wonder just what she's like as a whole person. I really do hope we get to see her again down the line restored like Ansem's apprentices to have more development with her character so that she, Demyx, Luxord, & Marluxia aren't just stuck as characters to round out the Organization to 13 members leaving them to fade into obscurity after CoM/2.
