BUT , if they jump into that kind of project they will have to start from start from scratch and redo some (a lot ) of R&D to see what new tech they can use ( so it won’t be a port ).

The DX11 generation tech used for #FFXV is for console only. Once FFXV is out on console we may look at a higher spec version for PC

It's basically them saying yeah a PC Version is coming, and it won't be a simple port, they are pretty much giving expectations as to what the PC Version of the game will be and honestly this is a great thing.

 

 

I hope they use GPUOpen(Not Gimpworks), Vulkan( an API), and DirectX12( another API) with Async Compute( basically the CPU does it's thing, and the GPU does it's thing , and hope they don't lock the framerate to 60, because I want to play this game at 120FPS at 1440p  or 4K 60FPS. 

 

 

At this point I don't think I'm getting a PS4 or Xbox One for this game, and from the way things are looking up this game could see a PC Port which I estimate will be sometime in 2017?

 

So what are you guys doing waiting for FFXV to come to PC?, Just getting the Xbox One version?, or buying a PC Version of the game and a PlayStation 4 Version of the game?

This is one game that I will double dip with.  I am getting the CE for PS4, but even as a console fanboy I can admit that this is one game that is severely held back by the consoles.  I have always wanted to get into PC gaming, and this is probably the game that will do it for me.

Getting a ps4 around release and that's it

 

I have no desire in building a gaming pc to play this especially with how long i have been waiting,not waiting any longer.I'll play it beat it and move on.

I'm going to stick with my PS4, I don't want to have two of the same game. But that's great news for people wanting the PC release of Final Fantasy XV ^-^

They were planning to have practically every Final Fantasy game on PC anyway so this was inevitable. It was just bound to happen sooner or later.

I have the PS4 Deluxe edition pre-ordered right now but if there is a PC version that will release in the future i will buy that too; 60FPS and max graphics on a game like FFXV are too much to pass up
