Have you done a no Dream Eater run of 3D?

Posted

For those who don't know, you can kill off your dream eaters and you don't have to replace them, thus enabling you to play with no party members. Also, you can't use dream eaters unless have to use the link portal in the hot lobster boss or use them for flick rush.

I've done it on standard and proud but I plan on doing in on crit once 2.8 comes out and fixes some problems with the game, plus I'm not doing it again with out being able to lock on(so much pain).

oh wow i didn't even consider having them die and be physically removed from the party. i just stuck with the beginning Dream Eaters and never really tried to grow them. i'll have to remember that if i ever play DDD again.

It's easier to kill them on harder modes.

Nope. I did quite the opposite and obtain every dream eater.

Huh, the thought never even occured to me.  Though, I still don't think I'll ever try it, cause I'm not that great at KH.

iirc you can release your DEs too. Not as gruesome as having them all die

Anyway, I probably wouldn't want to release/kill all of my Dream Eaters and run solo, esp. after already getting all of them and having them carry over for NG+s xP

Never even knew this was possible, I'll be sure to try this out. But it basically means no abilities which will be tough. But I'm up to the challenge :)

I knew it was possible, but I had no desire to do it. It's one of the mechanics of the game; it's a lot more fun to work with it rather than fighting against it, y'know?

I did the same thing in Dragons Dogma. Theres this nice harbor at the beginning of that game I like to go to. I walk the npc helpers you get to the edge. And push them into the sea. Instant death. Solo run.

haven't even thought it was possible, so no, but I might try it eventually

Did it on Proud

Tried on critical but the DS controls are just eh so it was hard.

I'll try it again once 2.8 drops.
