Time-travel. KH has it. (spoilers)

Thanks to RoxSox for this. I'll post the chat up, so you can see.

RoxSoxKH: Well, they finally got a video out with the starting and ending cutscenes of the battle.

RoxSoxKH: And...

RoxSoxKH: I noticed one or two things.

RoxSoxKH: He fades in and out...

RoxSoxKH: kind like a misty wave...

RoxSoxKH: appearing her and there

RoxSoxKH: like you said, like a ghost.

RoxSoxKH: And...

RoxSoxKH: if one were to look carefully at both his stance, and the hilt of his blades.

RoxSoxKH: You'll notice something far more interesting...

RoxSoxKH: Clock hands.

RoxSoxKH: Then,

RoxSoxKH: the keyblade you get when defeating him...

RoxSoxKH: if you look at the keychain?

RoxSoxKH: An hourglass.

RoxSoxKH: One blade pointing straight up behind his back, the other foward, going out to the side.

RoxSoxKH: Look at it closely?

RoxSoxKH: His stance is like a clock.

This man is a genius. Its all there.

People who said that time travel was not in KH, was wrong. I am included in that group. Up until seeing the video of the secret boss, I would have believed different. But its all there.

Please use logic when posting in speculation threads. Explain how it is possible that Xemnas is the MF.

... but I didn't say Xemnas was the mysterious figure. Unless you are not talking to me in which case I will feel very stupid and you can just ignore this comment...

Sorry. It sounded to me like you were implying it. And, yes, I was talking to you xD

It's fine. And btw what does xD mean?

... and so this post contributes to the thread. Who else thinks Vanitas' sentiment and the theme of gears might have a connection to the clocks/time.

xD or xD is a smily face, like your laughing kinda idk.

And yes, you could be correct.

It's debatable whether Vanitas's Keyblades name refers to actual mechanical gears, or gear like the panels in Days.

Well in days you equiped a 'gear' but your keyblade was not called 'example gear' it might have been called kingdom key, so because the name of the keyblade is void gear it can't be referring to equipped gear. Also we plainly see gears on void gear where as in days gear was being used like 'hiking gear'.

Every gear was referred to as gear, it just gave your weapon a unique name. Like how only Kingdom Key has the word key in its name, yet other keyblades are still keyblades. My current stance is that a synonym for Vanitas` keyblade is Emptiness Equipment.

What you are saying about how it can be that sort of a gear does not prove it's that, although it does give it an option through your reasoning, it can still be disproven. The mechanical interpretation has to be right, and I mean it has to be right. This keyblade is based off of the mechanical gear theme and therefore it leaves no room for the way it was used in days. BTW this is just my argument tone of typing, and I do not mean to be mean at all.

Well guys. Guess what.

Just finished listening to Xemnas' final boss music...and then I listened to MF's boss music...

These people are definitely deeply connected. Idk about Xemnas "time traveling", even though the possibility is slight, but this figure is related to time. No doubt about that.

@ the argument.

Keystrike is right. The Gears in Days wouldn't be relevant at all to Void Gear.

thx everything makes sense to me now

MF is either good or bad, he screws something up with time, which makes sora and riku look younger

thus MF might be the final boss of 3D

its just like in kingdom hearts final mix and xemnas being the final boss in kingdom hearts 2

thats my thought...

Well, the "makes Sora and Riku look younger" part is debatable, since 3D takes place right after Coded.

I do think that this person will have an effect on KH 3D somewhat, but I think MF is hinting more towards KH3.

Has any one else noticed how decorated some of his attacks are? So anyways, expanding on the idea that the weapons are clock hands a lot of things make sense.

When he casts doom his a clock like circle appears around your character and this circle appeared on some other attacks. One of them seemed to be a standard swing of the blade the other one was the X attack that final Vanitas and his sentiment uses. Usually an ordinary blue glow follows the swing and then it disappears very quickly but while I was watching one of the videos the light that was trailed behind was the same color as the X attack, which in this battle was decorated as well. and on that trail of light that was left behind you could see the same pattern as on the circle.

This lead me to believe that all of his attacks revolve around him and metaphorically speaking he is the clock that the hands revolve around. Now I am trying to think of how this relates to Vanitas' sentiment and the theme of gears.

yeah thats what id think, the secret boss of kh1fm was in kh2 (a big title) as a boss, the secret boss of kh2fm was in bbs (which was a big title also) so i would assume that MF would be in the next big title playing a role as an important character to the plot...

This person must have a strong connection to Vanitas/Xehanort.

He uses some of Vanitas' attacks, and his attack style directly relates to Vanitas' Keyblade. Gears and clocks.

@Keyblader. Precisely.

This may be over examining stuff but.... while getting owned by Vanitas in Neverland I spent some quality time with a slow mo scene of the sparks (gears) that come flying when Vanitas' keyblade hits me and I noticed that other than the red outlining, the gear was made of the same muscle fibery jumpsuit thing that Vanitas wears. This is perhaps symbolizing Vanitas is more literally the gear.

I do not doubt at all that MF will be a new centerpiece to the plot but how will he even show up in a game that takes place 10 years later it makes no sense. The secret ending to coded better clear some stuff.

Exactly what this thread is about, Time Travel, if we will see him, either he just waited it out, or traveled in time, but it should be explained.

Time travel is just... ewww. I don't know if I could keep playing the series if they introduce that (and more new consoles). Another question that I find worth asking is how was he made before the terra-xehanort complications. Because he is related to Vanitas' remnant there could possibly be a connection to the unversed. Well, Terra's sentiment waited out all that time.

This person could've been created in the future, or in a time period after BBS, and time travelled back.

Or. Here is another thing I was thinking. Lets say that this person is a failed experiment of Master Xehanorts if he tried to create the X-Blade before? What if he had an apprentice previous to Ventus, and he applied the same method of darkness extraction on him, and blah blah blah. But somehow, the X-blade wasn't created, and the result of the darkness extraction (MF) was abandoned. This could explain why him and Vanitas are so related, a clock and a gear.

OR.

This person could be one of MX's "seeds". Lets say that Master Xehanort KNEW that something was going to go wrong with him taking full control over Terra's body. Maybe he expected Vanitas to survive. So what if MF was a person with a heart full of light, made just for Vanitas to fuse with so that the X-Blade would be created, just in case his plan with Ventus failed. This would explain why he can use some of Vanitas' X-Blade attacks, because maybe this person was made essentially for the X-Blade.

Huh....Good theories.

Guys! I found out who MF is!

It's in this leaked gameplay video from BBS FM!

If you fall for this, you are pretty dim-witted

All jokes aside, thanks Keyblader.

Theory #2 actually seems very good.

"You are just one of many roads I might take, trust me, I made certain of that."

Oh holy shit

You two are geniuses

Plus. I just saw the Re:coded secret ending....

Yen Sid talks about how MX is going to or has returned, and how he is a man of many schemes.

Off-topic: Sora and Riku are going to take the test to become masters! This might be the plot to KH 3D!

@ sks: Don't be so modest with the word might. The secret ending was supposed to hint at 3d. It says they will take the test that should be right after coded and 3d is supposed to take place after coded. This will have to do with 3d.
