As she continues to fight the man, Aqua heard someone. Turned around, then sees Terra and some girl in white robe. *gasp* "Te-Terra?! Is it really you?" She said. She was relief that he's ok, but at the same time, she was shocked to see him. Aqua blocks Xemnas's red beams, but Link isn't Lucky. "agh!" He fell down, bleeding from his head a little. he gets up, charging and used the spin attack on Xemnas. "haaahhh!"

--Caius and Noel -- Lufenia--

With a manner of ease Caius was able to deflect Xion and Ven's attacks, bringing his sword to guard against Ven and having jabbed Xion in the abdomen with his elbow.  Noel had attempted to come down from behind but failed, Caius shifting too quickly for the brunet to have successfully stricken him.  It was Elsa's move, however, that had caught Caius off-guard.  Dark energy grasped the dark guardian, sending him crashing into the ground time and again.  The man grunted, blood trickling underneath his headband and down his temple.  Finally a bright violet beam emitted from him, breaking free of Elsa's bind and rolling to his side.  It took him a moment to finally regain his footing, his body swaying on the spot when he finally had.

 

"Your power . . . is immense," he commented, dabbing at his temple with his left hand.  "However, it will not be enough to protect you or your friends.  Behold!"

 

With that, Caius stroked his eidolith, and again a blinding light surrounded him.  Noel threw an arm to shield his eyes, unable to watch as Caius fused once more with Bahamut, forming Chaos Bahamut.  The dragon let out a piercing screech as it threw its head into the air, its body lowering to the ground and sending a paralyzing ripple upon his landing.  Noel was thrown off his feet and onto his back, though he quickly regathered his bearings and resumed his stance.

 

"Caius, you fool!" he shouted, though he did not elaborate.  He darted to Elsa and grasped her upper arm.  "Come on, our fight is done.  We need to retreat and join the others, or get Lisa out of here."

 

It was predominately a stroke of luck that Noel and Serah had managed to take Caius down once before, but Caius' time with Chaos had been dangerous.  Not only had he returned to his full strength, but his bond with Bahamut had only grown, which was certainly not for the better for them.

 

--Schala -- Lufenia --

The Zealot Princess carefully considered Magus's words, her eyes glassy as they rose to meet his.  "So they were already after you anyway," she said slowly, shaking her head in disbelief.  A part of her wondered if this were the case.  It would've been very farfetched if Chaos would leave a rebel alone, namely if he was supporting a traitor.  And yet Caius himself had promised that Magus would be spared if she aided him.  Perhaps Caius was working independently and secretly made the deal with her, or perhaps he was just like every other Chaos warrior she'd met: dishonest, deceitful, and despicable.

 

A great part of her wanted to join Magus, she really did, but she was afraid.  What would happen if they were caught?  How would they torture them?  She could not bring herself to use her powers to harm anymore of the Cosmos warriors, not more than she already had, and yet her fear of what would happen was entirely ruling out all other possibilities.  Finally she grasped Magus in a tight embrace before pulling away, her hands resting upon his shoulders.  "Then go, my brother.  Take care of your friends.  I will not join the fight, for if they see me they will not hesitate to capture me again.  I will be waiting for you inside the castle, and if anyone is injured bring them to me.  You are strong, Janus, just as I've always believed you to be.  I am so proud of the man that you've become, and to think that you have magic now!"

 

A piercing cry filled the air, interrupting Schala's thoughts and arresting her attention.  She turned her head in the direction of the cry, only to see a dark dragon out in the distance that she recognized too well.  "There may not be much time," Schala said hurriedly.  "Go!  I will be waiting for you."

 

--Locke -- Ruined City --

Humbaba swung true, and indeed his backhanded swipe struck the treasure hunter.  A gasp escaped Locke as he was hit with brute force in the abdomen and chest, knocking the wind out of him as he was hurled onto his back.  Darkness started to eat away at the corners of his vision as he battled for consciousness, attempting to take deep breaths that wouldn't come.  A tingling sensation gnawed on his lower side, and bringing a hand to inspect the area told him that he was freely bleeding.  For a moment Locke closed his eyes.  This is what always happened when he strayed away from everyone else and took on fights with those bigger than him.

 

And just when he didn't think his day could get any worse, large bolts of lightning began striking the ground surrounding him.  A yelp escaped him as he threw all of his weight into his uninjured right side, rolling out of the lightning field and hopefully out of harm's way. He vaguely heard Gau shout something, when a cool sensation infiltrated him.  For a moment he briefly wondered if this was the relief of dying, but that seemed rather odd since he hadn't been that bad off.  It took him a moment to realize that the bleeding had slowed significantly, and he felt much more mobility in his core.  Gau had apparently worked some miracle on them, which Locke was wholeheartedly grateful for.  I'll really need to treat that kid out to a proper meal once this is all over, he thought to himself, springing back onto his feet.

 

Humbaba, the ugly menace, turned is attention away from Locke upon Gau's shout, eyes glinting in the dim moonlight.  He swatted at the wild child, even though it was a hopeless attempt since he was so far away, just before he began to feel the affects of Aqua Breath.  The strangest sound between a squeal and a cry emitted from the demon, as Locke cast a complimentary spell to Gau's rage move: Bio.  The deadly poison that would pain an enemy and slowly kill it from the inside.

(I don't recall many of Humbaba's magical abilities, Vaude, so I'll hand over Humbaba's next attack to you, if you don't mind! )

Elsa felt a bit triumphant at her small victory, but she almost fainted when she saw him turn into a dragon. What the hell..., she thought. Lisa whimpered at the creature and hid her face in Elsa's shoulder. She comforted her small child until she winced when her upper arm was grasped by Noel. She knew that they had to retreat, so she nodded firmly and said, "O-Okay!" Then she started to run, still holding Lisa firmly in her arms. That man will not take my child... I'm going to hide her so i can fight again..., was all Elsa thought as she opened the big doors and went to find a place for Lisa to hide in.

~Ven and Xion~

 

~Lufenia, exiting the Castle~

 

Ven and Xion follow Noel and Elsa as The castle was collapsing. Some of the stones almost fall on top of them, but luckily, Ven used Aeroga Spell to move them to the other directions. "Wind!"

-Elsa and Lisa, Lufenia-

 

While Ven cast his Aeroga spell, Elsa went to find a place for Lisa to hide until the fighting was over. She then found a perfect hiding spot for Lisa in the bushes. She gently put her down and said, "Lisa, I'll be right back. Just stay here til I'm done, okay?" Lisa nodded, though she started to cry a bit and said, "P-Please d-don't g-go, mama..." Elsa hugged her tightly and replied back, saying, "I promise I'll be back, okay? I have to fight off the bad guys so we can go home." Lisa understood a bit and nodded again, sitting down in the bushes so no one would see her. "Thank you, sweetie. Now I have to go." Elsa said, smiling and giving her daughter a kiss on the head.

 

Then she got up and when she was only two feet away from Lisa, she transformed into a woman with white skin, beautiful purple eyes, and short gray hair. Her clothes changed into a black outfit with long sleeves and a see-through gray sash with beads and a ribbon wrapped around her torso. A medium-long black cloak covered her shoulders. Elsa was now in her much stronger form. Lisa almost got frightened by her mother changing into someone else, but she somehow knew that this woman was still her.

- Draksis - The conqueror - Lufenia - Outnumbered.

 

(Float? can fly? time for a big slam.)

 

"Not impressed" Draksis retorted to Xathnan's scoffs and general statement. Corrin soon attacked however, to which Draksis blocked the spear attack with his sword, minimal damage was dealt to the dark energy stored, but he managed to move his free hand to block the Yato with a backhand motion as he did an open palm strike towards Corrin's chest, wheter it hit or not was irrelevant as a strong shockwave was emitted from his hand in order to throw him back. Following a stomp which also emited a shockwave towards Xathnan  and genesis, whom he had just noticed was charging at him. He needed to keep his space between them. If he wanted to get out of this.

 

It was then...the best thing could happen, Ruddy had casted a float spell onto Draksis's feet. Making draksis float a bit, but one thing was sure. Draksis had control over his height and flight. "Hmm..." Draksis said as he decided to fly high up in the air. Knowing full well the spell would be dispelled by the caster, probably hoping he'd do this, honestly.

 

Thankfully, Draksis was quite strong against gravity. as the float was dispelled, didn't stop Draksis from falling like a comet from the sky, sword drawn as he impacted the ground a massive darkness explosion followed. Causing quite the damage to the surroundings. 

 

"I see you are all focusing on my sword..." Draksis spoke, as his sword was now impaled onto the ground after the falling attack..."Too bad." Draksis spoke to whoever had either avoided, tanked through, or simply managed to block his slam as he grabbed his sword's handle and pulled it from the ground...and holding it with both hands, he approached the sword to his head. His armor's forehead touching the sword as Darkness spiraled wildly between both him and the sword. It was like a small hurricane of dark energy surrounded him.

 

Whatever it was that he was doing...it didn't seem good. Neither was the Area's corruption becoming any easier to handle. And Draksis's aura was increasing in power...the longer he stood there...charging power.

While he was charging one could notice that his armor was also reacting extremely erratic to the power...it was twitching, moving by itself...between the joints and open spots, one could not see a body inside the suit...only for one with a keen eye of course.

(your on!)Xathnan knew what he was doing and laughed as draksis' aura poured into Lufenia served only to amplify his powers. "Newbie... I told you... You are no match." His cloak becoming distorted by xathnan and dtaksis' auras. "I don't know what your goal is and I don't care. But you will kneel to me boy." Xathnan knew he was the only one getting stronger from Draksis. So he knew he was the perfect weapon. Something new jad awakened in him.

~Magus-Lufenia

Janus was happy that his sister was proud of him, and that she believed in him.

He waited for his sister to get to safety. Magus then turned his attention to the dragon, but now he knew who the dragon was-Caius.

At first, he wanted to help ruddy against Xathnan, but saw that he turned against Draksis, and Magus wanted to help the group that is attacking Draksis, but the dragon arrived, and he would pose a problem for the others, so he decided to fight Caius.

There was of course, a personal reason-the fact that Caius threatened his sister, and he was also her captor. He treated her with respect, but Magus could not tolerate his actions.

 "This again? Very well then..."  

Magus then cast a spell at the dragon, Lightning II, and another one, immediately after Lightning II- Dark Mist. 

 

~Genesis-Lufenia

The shock-wave knocked Genesis back a bit,  and when Draksis caused an explosion, Genesis summoned his right wing again, flying backwards and high in the air, to avoid the explosion. However, instead of landing and trying to attack Draksis with his sword, he decided to use magic. The location was perfect for Genesis to use magic, since he could use it without hurting the others and with better aim.

He switched his rapier to his right hand, and used his left hand to cast a barrage of firaga spells , resulting in a great number of fire orbs coming towards Draksis, while the other orbs touched the ground that created a fire explosion. Genesis could not see if Draksis got hit by the orbs or not because of the explosion.

Then she ran into battle and summoned her Gaster Blasters, who were now actual skeletal creatures and not just floating heads. They roared loudly, ready to pounce at any of the moving threats. Elsa could almost feel a smirk come to her face.

Even after that, he grunted the yelled a bit as his keyblade transform into 6 blades and goes behind his back at if he has wings.

Levana saw Ven transform into someone else as well. So he's just like me..., she thought. The Gaster Blaster creatures stopped roaring and stood quietly. Levana pet one of them and said, "Don't worry, my friends. You're gonna get your chance. We have to wait, okay?" They growled in response and went into their pouncing stance, ready for Levana's command. She looked back at her daughter again and thought, Don't worry, Lisa. I'm doing this for you and only you...

(Time for big things to happen)

~Johnny, Lightning, and Elia the White Mage, Elfheim~

The fight was turning again, but not in their favor.
The man in the black coat had started to summon weird grey creatures to attack everyone. Not just the warriors of Cosmos.
Johnny had to think fast.
Then he had an idea...
Johnny reached for one more summonstone and held it above his head.
"Genie! I need your help! I use my first wish!"
The summonstone began to act violently, spewing smoke and sparks everywhere.

A massive pillar of smoke shot out of the stone, and a figure began to appear in the smoke.

"Oh, thank you for letting me outta there, kid!" the blue figure cried. "Here I was, thinking the lamp was bad!"
Johnny looked to the Genie, "Genie, I need these guys out of here. The guy in black, the grey creatures, and Xehanort too!"
Genie swung his arm around and around, "I'm betting that's your first wish, eh, kid?" Genie swung his arms out to his side and snapped his fingers.
"All right, kid. LET'S MAKE SOME MAGIC!"
The man in black and Xehanort vanished in a puff of blue smoke, with the grey creatures following suit.
The battle was won, at last.
Elfheim was safe, for now.
"Thanks, Genie," Johnny said as he walked by the Genie to rendevous with the others.
"No problemo, Johnny boy! Just remember, you've only got two more wishes left!"
Lightning scoffed at Johnny as he approached, the Genie behind him, "You couldn't have done that earlier?"
Johnny shrugged, "I had it under control."
The Genie joined in, "Besides, Pinky, John here likes to keep things dramatic, use the ace up his sleeve later on, you know what I'm saying?"
Lightning looked away, a bit of venom in her voice, "My name's not Pinky. And we had it under control."
Johnny looked over the group and saw the two new faces. One was the girl in white from the gathering with Cosmos. The other was...Terra?
Johnny approached the two, "Hey, a little late to the party, aren't we? Name's Johnny. And you two are...?"
Elia bowed slightly to Johnny, "I am Elia, the White Mage. This is Terra, one of the traitors to Chaos. We came here following Xehanort."
Johnny looked at Terra for a second, "Xehanort? You guys know that Xehanort I was just fighting?"

~Corrin, Lufenia~

Corrin was thrown back by both shockwaves from the man in armor. Corrin did not land well.
He hit his head on a rock near the outskirts of town, knocking him out.
As he faded out of conciousness, Corrin thought of his allies.
The darkness overtook him.
Corrin fell asleep...

~Xehanort, on the outskirts of the Land of Discord~

Xehanort reappeared in a puff of blue smoke. He quickly looked around to see his surroundings. The town was gone, as was his chosen rival.
Xehanort swung his Keyblade at a nearby rock, slicing a good chunk off, "Damn it! I was so close!"
Xehanort's attention was quickly diverted to the north, where he sensed a source of power that could prove to be useful.
Xehanort smiled as he opened a dark corridor, bringing in a Manikin to assist him.
He was going to bring the boy in the mask back.

While Levana was waiting to give the command, she started getting a bad feeling that someone was after her. Since the Gaster Blaster creatures were connected to her, they sensed her fear and they growled a little bit louder, looking for the threat. She noticed that all of them reacted the same way and said, "Calm down, my friends. I just felt a bit scared, that's all. Now stay focused, okay?" They nodded in response and resumed their stance. God, I hope this feeling goes away..., she thought, trying to brush away the feeling. But she would soon come to see that she was dead wrong...

Terra ran into Aqua and hug her Tightly. He buried his face on her shoulder. "Aqua, I'm so glad you're ok.... Did he hurt you?..." She hug him back and said. "No not really but..." Link walks into Elia and asked her. "what do you mean he's a traitor of Chaos?" Aqua looks at Link, then at Terra. "what?"

 

~Xion and Ven~

 

~Lufenia~

 

*gasp* "Corrin!" She Shout at him after he got knocked out. Ven Looks at her and said. "Go help him! Don't worry about us, we can take care of this one!" She nodded to him, then goes to where Corrin at. She bend down, then cast Curaga on him. "heal!"

~Aqua, Terra and Link~~Elfheim~Terra ran into Aqua and hug her Tightly. He buried his face on her shoulder. "Aqua, I'm so glad you're ok.... Did he hurt you?..." She hug him back and said. She Shout at him after he got knocked out. Ven Looks at her and said. "Go help him! Don't worry about us, we can take care of this one!" She nodded to him, then goes to where Corrin at. She bend down, then cast Curaga on him. "heal!"

A boy named Corrin began to get a group of those who opposed Chaos."Johnny looked to Terra, "Brave move. From what we've seen, Chaos summoned some pretty hard hitters. So where's the rest of your group of defectors?"~Corrin and Xehanort, Lufenia~Corrin began to stir, his gaze seeing the girl with black hair, Xion."Agh, my head..." Corrin said as he sat up. He looked over to the battle he had just been cast out of, "We need to get some help. We need to get out of here.""That you do, boy," a voice said, not too far.Xehanort brandished his Keyblade as he scanned the battlefield, looking for suitable candidates to borrow power for his apprentice.He spotted the blonde boy with a Keyblade. Ventus. A perfect start. His apprentice did come from the boy anyway.Xehanort cracked a smile at Ventus, "Ven! My friend, what a surprise to see you here..."

Ruddy Infratel, and then there were three

 

With a flick of the wrist, the cancellation of the Haste spell was complete and a smug look overcame him seeing the man drop out of the sky, but something was off.  For one, his spell was delayed, probably a side effect of the decaying darkness.  For another, Draksis's motions were swift, direct, and no-nonsense.  It was as if he were . . .

 

Oh, Ruddy thought to himself, the furthest he thought before propelling a gust beneath him.

 

The earth shook under the force of a dark explosion, dusty, contaminated air rushing away from the field of impact and into Ruddy's face.  Ruddy skirted all injury from being far from the scene, but Corrin was not so lucky, tossed about by shockwaves and gales to the point of unconsciousness.  Xathnan seemed to be holding his own, as dragoons seemed to tend to do the 20% of the time they get a good matchup, and Genesis, that lovable man in red, well . . . he was Genesis.  He was doing great, however.

 

With Draksis occupied and standing still, probably tanking damage with his armour due to being stationary, Ruddy gathered his wits and pointed with great hipness.  Silently and with great precision, a wind slash of -ra levels rocketed off at Draksis' raised blade, followed shortly by another aimed at Draksis' leg.  This took great effort without an incantation and robbed his mana levels of double what it should have taken, but he expected the end result to be more than gratifying.

 

 

 

--Locke -- Ruined City --

Humbaba swung true, and indeed his backhanded swipe struck the treasure hunter.  A gasp escaped Locke as he was hit with brute force in the abdomen and chest, knocking the wind out of him as he was hurled onto his back.  Darkness started to eat away at the corners of his vision as he battled for consciousness, attempting to take deep breaths that wouldn't come.  A tingling sensation gnawed on his lower side, and bringing a hand to inspect the area told him that he was freely bleeding.  For a moment Locke closed his eyes.  This is what always happened when he strayed away from everyone else and took on fights with those bigger than him.

 

And just when he didn't think his day could get any worse, large bolts of lightning began striking the ground surrounding him.  A yelp escaped him as he threw all of his weight into his uninjured right side, rolling out of the lightning field and hopefully out of harm's way. He vaguely heard Gau shout something, when a cool sensation infiltrated him.  For a moment he briefly wondered if this was the relief of dying, but that seemed rather odd since he hadn't been that bad off.  It took him a moment to realize that the bleeding had slowed significantly, and he felt much more mobility in his core.  Gau had apparently worked some miracle on them, which Locke was wholeheartedly grateful for.  I'll really need to treat that kid out to a proper meal once this is all over, he thought to himself, springing back onto his feet.

 

Humbaba, the ugly menace, turned is attention away from Locke upon Gau's shout, eyes glinting in the dim moonlight.  He swatted at the wild child, even though it was a hopeless attempt since he was so far away, just before he began to feel the affects of Aqua Breath.  The strangest sound between a squeal and a cry emitted from the demon, as Locke cast a complimentary spell to Gau's rage move: Bio.  The deadly poison that would pain an enemy and slowly kill it from the inside.

(I don't recall many of Humbaba's magical abilities, Vaude, so I'll hand over Humbaba's next attack to you, if you don't mind! )

Gau, currently fighting Humbaba alongside Locke

 

The green-haired kid onlooked as the menacing display of poison and water turned Humbaba into even more of a howling, screaming monstrosity.  It thrashed wildly as the toxin seeped into every pore, but it would not die without a whimper.  Turning fiercely, it set its eyes once more on Gau and readied the greatest known Thunder spell in its arsenal, Thundaga.  Lightning popped forth from its mouth as it chewed on what seemed like energy itself, and its head ducked low to deliver its masterpiece.

 

Gau shifted quickly to another Rage, his entire mien visibly changing from a slick creature to a tenacious wildcat, and rushed at top speed perpendicular to Humbaba's gaze.  His flight worked for the most part, the Thundaga aimed for him rather than the ground he stood on, but the residual energy in the air left painful, fresh burns on whatever skin was exposed in Humbaba's direction.  Grunting, Gau slowed and shouted in Locke's direction, "GAU NEED TIME!  MAKE TIME FOR GAU!"

 

Gau certainly did need some time.  He prepped for his greatest of techniques as colours danced in his eyes, not out of pain but out of a strange concentration.  Touch, sight, hearing, speech, and smell--all five senses merged into a synesthesia, and so too did his various types of Rages.

 

Humbaba, that great Assyrian jerk, did not want the kid to prepare.   While pained from wracking poison, he turned his spiny back to unleash a legion of quills (1000 Needles--yes, he has this) in Gau's direction.  Should Locke intervene on time, it would greatly save Gau from five times the sensations of pain.

Levana saw two other people enter the field. For some strange reason, she sensed a terrible darkness inside them. Oh no... I knew I shouldn't have ignored that feeling!, she thought, shaking a bit. The creatures noticed her getting scared again and saw the threats from afar. Their eyes started to glow and they growled, sensing that they are after their master. Levana almost let her fear take over her, but she shook it off and put on a facade of courage. She muttered under her breath, "Alright... Don't let them see your fear. You have to stay determined and do this for Lisa. That barrier is good enough to protect her, so she'll be okay..."

Xehanort?.. ahh!" The memories are coming back, he fall on his knees, had his hands on his face and groans in pain. "n-no... Not again..." He started to scream in agony and tearing up. ~Terra and Aqua~ ~Elfheim~"we're split up to looking for Cosmos's warriors. and Aqua, is Ven with you?" He said with a worried look on his face. "No, what are you mean about Ven? And why are you looking for us?" She begins to Worried about Ventus. It's bad enough Xehanort is back to hunt them. She wanted to cry, but had to be brave for Terra and Everyone else.

Levana heard the piercing scream of Ven and fell to her knees, reminded once again of the bad training memory. But she couldn't let that memory affect her brain again, so she ran to his side and said, "Ven! Are you okay? What's wrong?" What she didn't know was that would be the biggest mistake she ever did. Sure, she wanted to help him, but now she was in the line of sight for the man and the boy beside him to see. The Gaster Blaster creatures got in front of them, still growling at the two threats. Levana tried her best to comfort Ven, hoping it would help him in some way.

- Draksis - The Conqueror - Lufenia.

 

"You like talking big...yet I wonder if you have the stones to back it up..." Draksis openly taunted Xathnan as he kept channeling energy. Even though he was completely bombarded by genesis's spell. ruddy's Air spells served only to blow the smoke away, although the one attack aimed at his leg kneeled Draksis while the one aimed at his sword didn't do much to knock it out of his grip.

 

Suddenly, all the darkness which corrupted the area began to channel itself towards Draksis as well. Draksis could access his destruction mode easily enough with not even half as much dark energy he poured into himself and the area. But the more...meant the longer the duration...at least in this world he seemed to have a time limit to it anyway, god damn RP rules...

 

For a few seconds, the entire area was lifted of the corruption, lifting any side effects and any benefits Xathnan was getting from his cloak. For a few moments anyway.

 

Soon enough yet another large shockwave was cast around Draksis as he changed form in a puff of pitch black smoke. As Draksis's aura skyrocketed in terms of intensity and power, enough to be felt from long distances. As the area, yet again began to slowly be corrupted...but this time with Draksis as the source of the corruption.

 

Draksis's figure was engulfed in dark flames. And as the flames began to fade, a new appearance could be seen on him...an entire new suit of armor. He quickly took a few seconds to look at himself and his sword...in amusement, before turning to his opponents..."..." Draksis was silent.

 

Within a split second Draksis dashed at impressive speeds past Xathnan, closing right onto Ruddy. As he approached ruddy Draksis had his blade dragging along the ground during the dash, leaving a trail of dark fire and pure abyssal darkness as he swung upwards in Ruddy's direction, and with the swing, a large blast of dark fire erupted from the ground Towards the Rogue.

 

With finnese however Draksis maneuvered to the side holding his open palm towards Genesis as the area around the man began to distort with energy, as Draksis closed his palm. The area would instantly combust in corrupted fire. Genesis had ample time to dodge it however.

 

And with a finishing attack, Draksis swung towards Xathnan, even though he was far away, a wave of darkness was sent out.

 

(Draksis has now entered Destruction mode, pray he doesn't tap into Devastation).

When she did, she ran away as fast as she could, not looking back for one second. The creatures followed after her, but still kept a sharp eye for other threats. He saved me... But he didn't have to take the blow! Why do bad things happen to good people like him?, Levana thought, a few tears streaming down her eyes.

The woman before him was the source of power he sensed.She would give the apprentice strength. The raw power of the creatures she had summoned would be enough.But...why make a mistake like Garland did?Why not give him more power?A dark shadow appeared from Xehanort's back. His faithful Guardian.Xehanort looked around once more and saw the dragon boy.Why not? His apprentice could use the power to shapeshift."Bring him to me," Xehanort commanded, and the shadow obeyed.Corrin, still drifting in and out of unconciousness, could not resist the Guardian's advance.The three were together now.The dragon, the boy and the woman.These would be the vessels to bring back Vanitas.Using the Guardian's power (the Guardian has Garland's power, FYI), Xehanort began to channel Ven's memories, as well as the woman and Corrin's power.Vanitas was to be reborn.

But before Levana could even reach Lisa, she stopped in her tracks. She put a hand to her heart and thought, W-What's going on... Why do I feel so weird... She realized that the man was planning on using her for something. But what? She started to groan a bit from what he had done to her. The Gaster Blaster creatures groaned in pain as well. She fell to her knees and started to black out. She looked up one last time at her daughter behind the barrier she put up and noticed that Lisa was starting to cry. She smiled weakly and said under her breath, "I'm so sorry, Lisa. Please... Be good." The last of what she heard from her was, "MAMA!"

~Xehanort, Lufenia~

The creation of Vanitas was almost complete. The power of the three warriors was almost done filling the manikin.
But Vanitas needed something more...
Xehanort noticed the fight nearby. The three warriors fighting the dark man in armor. Xehanort could feel the aura coming from the man. The pure darkness.
That would be the final piece to Vanitas.
The Guardian grabbed the Manikin, who was just about to assume his new form, and threw him at the man in armor.
In the moment the Manikin hit the ground soaked in darkness, there was a flash of light.
A boy with black hair stood up from where the Manikin had fallen. The darkness covering him began to create armor on the boy.
Xehanort cracked a smile.
Vanitas had returned.
