The war of the gods.Fought valiantly by heroes of yore for eons, the battle between Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony, and Chaos, the God of Discord, has left a world torn apart by conflict.And yet, even a tale like this had a beginning.The very first conflict of harmony and discord.------------The warriors had be summoned. The assembly stood before their goddess, in rapture of the beatiful maiden before them.A twinge of regret filled the goddess, and she looked away from her warriors. She was ashamed to have gathered them, to have them fight a war in her steed, and for what? She knew exactly what was to come from this war, and yet, she went along with it.However, the mighty dragon would not control her."My faithful warriors," she started, her voice soothing any who had noticed her conflict. "I do not wish this upon you. What I send you to do, I do not wish on any." A light began to emanate from Cosmos, which began to spread around the assembly. "However, there is hope." Each of the warriors felt a strange power surging within them, and the assembly looked again to their goddess. "I give each of you a special power. The power of the crystals. Stay true to your virtues in this conflict, and your crystals shall be manifested."She smiled, her plan already set in motion, as she finished her proclamation, "Go, my warriors. Let your light shine again in this world!"------------Chaos had already dismissed his warriors, only a few minutes after summoning them. He had told them only this; 

"Do as you wish. Fight the warriors of Cosmos and claim victory over her. Only know this...Those who oppose me shall not prevail."The warriors of Chaos had gathered in the old Chaos Shrine, led by the knight Garland, a mighty warrior, the second in command of Chaos.Garland let out a mighty bellow, "Chaos has summoned us all to wage mighty war in his behalf! It is our duty to him that all of Cosmos' chosen fall by our might!"Those in assembly knew why Chaos had chosen them simply by looking at Garland and his massive sword.Chaos wanted the mighty, the strong, the fearless and the wicked to lead him to victory over the goddess.All they needed to do was defeat their enemy.

Johnny felt excited. He shouldn't have been, but he was. Moments ago, he was drifting through time and space, crossing various parts of the multiverse, trying to get home, but now...He was going to war.He, being at near the front of the assembly of heroes, called out to the rest after Cosmos had finished."Alright, everyone! Let's go on an adventure!"Some of the heroes had already begun to split into groups, and Johnny wandered through, looking for someone to team up with.------------Corrin was ashamed to be in the presence of Garland. He had traded his false father, a mad tyrant in Nohr, for another mad god seeking control of the world.Corrin began to walk away, out the doors of the Chaos Shrine."I went back to Nohr to stop the conflict, and here I am in another," Corrin said, adjusting his armor and equipment. "Why am I always in these scenarios?" He looked up to the world outside the shrine."I will not fight your war for you, Chaos."

~Garland, Kefka's Tower~Garland let out a cruel, twisted laugh. If the two could see behind his helmet, they would have seen Garland's face give them a most sinister smile."You two have no idea what you challenge," Garland said, leaving his sword in the ground, allowing the splintered earth to fester and start to churn magma.Garland swept his hands in front of him, knocking away two of the Gaster Blasters. Then, Garland reached for the others and ripped them off his body.Garland stared down Elsa, "Do you know what I hate the most about summoners? I despise their will to stand and let others fight for them."Garland raised his right hand towards Xathnan, "Chaos will not betray my trust. He rewards the loyal, and besides..." Garland let loose a blast of energy from his hand before continuing, "...Chaos and I are more related than you realize."~Elia, the White Mage, and Johnny, Lufenia~Elia awoke with a heavy gasp for air. The explosion had knocked the wind out of her on top of knocking her out.Elia leaned up and saw the Moogle, and she smiled, "Thank you, friend."Elia began to look around, seeing the damage that had been done, but it was Johnny that concerned her most. Johnny sat on his knees nearby a body.Elia could feel that the body had lost all signs of life.Elia walked over to Johnny, and she could only console him by putting her hand on his shoulder.Johnny began to cry, "He was on our side..." Johnny could see the thoughts Ruddy had, and it was indeed a tragedy. Link and Genesis were right, Ruddy did have his ulterior motives, but that was not all to him. Johnny continued, talking through his tears, "At the end of it all, he would have chosen us to stay with."Johnny stood up, still looking down at the body. Elia walked over to Terra and Aqua and began a healing spell to revive Aqua.Excalibur transformed, but into a form Johnny had never seen before.A shovel.Ruddy will receive a proper burial, Johnny thought to himself as he began to dig a hole nearby the body.

Elsa called back her Gaster Blasters and glared at Garland, hoping he saw her face. He thinks he's such a big shot. I'm not gonna break. If he was grinning like a crazy person, i still wouldn't be fazed. But... If he found where i hid my daughter, i would feel my world break down., she thought, also hoping that he couldn't read minds. When he said that he hated summoners, she said, "Well, do you know what i hate about evil knights? It's the way they think they're so bad. And why do you think i want people to fight for me? That is wrong because i'm not like that at all! I will fight for my friends! You probably don't have any, so you don't know what it's like to fight alongside them. But enough talking! You're gonna regret messing with me!" And with that, she sent a hoard of Gaster Blasters and bones straight at the stubborn knight.

When Szybel was met with mysterious voices, she acted briskly. Out reaching her arm towards the announced stranger's locality with her palm open, she paced herself in a defensive position. This jolt caused her arm to twinge. She flinched through the pain, and scanned her eyes over at the area where she heard the voices come from. A fellow whom was speaking to another. He was rebuting the volume and tone the other chose to speak in. Thinking 'W-who are these people?' But all that was to come out was a soft stutter. The soft patter of feet drew closer to her, so she decided to turn her head and act as if she never noticed them. That is when she was asked a question. Hesitantly trying to speak, she said yes.

 

Then with her gaze glancing downward, She established a question.

"Where is this? Who are you people?"

 

She looked past the man, and to see two others with him she was a bit startled. She also noticed his posture. 'Is he hiding something behind his back?' She began to stand to her feet pressing her foot on a root that sprouted from the tree, She stumbled from the slick nature of it's moss-substance. A negligible amount of blood trickled from her arm As she caught herself. She looked at him in the eyes and spoke in a firm tone.

 

"Are you gonna try and hurt me?"

Then she began to speak in Latin. The wind brushed past her hair, removing the strands in front of her face. As she readied herself for combat, one of her arms remained limp. While the other was in a boxing position. Her pauldron glistened a bit but then stopped. The glow was hardly noticeable. She took a step back to check her bearings. 

 

'I believe...if they try anything...I'll hurt them.'

--Locke and Schala -- Forest near Giant's Cave--

The grassy-maned child behind Locke let out a loud cry as he leapt away from Locke and the girl, scaling the nearest tree in fear of the newcomer.  It mildly surprised Locke that this girl was getting ready to fight them, and immediately he tucked his knife in his belt and raised his hands defensively.  "No, no, kid.  You're safe.  We're not going to hurt you."

 

As the treasure hunter declared this, the Zealot princess emerged from behind him, rushing toward the girl and kneeling before her.  Her smile was soft and gentle, her eyes equally so.  "It's all right, child.  We would never harm you.  My name is Schala, princess of the kingdom of Zeal.  This here is Locke, and the boy is Gau.  They may look a little rough around the edges but we're all here for the same reason: to help our friends and loved ones, and to stop Chaos from destroying our worlds."

 

A look of deep concern etched into the princess' face as she noticed the wounds upon the child's arm.  "Here, please.  Let me help you.  I can heal you and make you feel better if you'll come closer."  Still knelt on the ground, Schala extended her arms, as though to help Szybel back on the ground so that she could work her magic.

 

--Noel -- Kefka's Tower--

Sweat gleamed on Noel's face as he still held the imperial mage in his arms.  She seemed entirely brainwashed, not acting of her own will.  Her eyes were out of focus; it was absolutely dismal to see.  He brought a hand to touch her cheek gently, when he noticed a tiara made of silver upon her head.  Curious, he raised a finger to it, to which he noticed the band was hot against her skin.  Could it simply be an accessory, or could there be more to it?  Once Noel had heard a legend of the empire controlling people with technology, and this accessory didn't look like your typical piece of jewelry.  With a quick motion Noel ripped the tiara off her head, attempting to fling it far into the distance.  "No, you can't just destroy.  You don't seem like that at all.  You don't belong to that man."

 

Of course he ran the risk of enraging the mad clown even further, but he was willing to take that chance, for freedom.  Besides, he now had Magus on his side; hopefully he would back him up in his efforts.

~Magus, Kefka's tower~

 

Garland ignored Magus' question. Either he was too much focused on the battle to hear it, or just choose to ignore it. Magus was about  to attack him, but seeing that the girl was still under the clown's control, he decided focus on Kefka instead.

Magus noticed that the boy(Noel) fought against Caius back in Lufenia, talking to him while he removes the tiara. "I remember that you were there back at Lufenia, fighting against a man called Caius. May I ask your name? I can cover you while you take care of her."

Magus then cast Dark Bomb, a Shadow-attribute spell that hits enemies within a circle at Kefka.

~Kelon - Sanctuary~

 

Kelon noticed Corrin assisting taking out the armored foes, and he smirked slightly, glad to have help. He was hoping to get this done quick, but, this was a great thing that he got some help, for he was exhausted. He jumped back, and jumped into the air, at another armored foe, and spun around like a drill, and Light and Darkness covered his entire body, and channeled them to his Shadowsplicer, and hit the armored foe hard. He took a deep breath to compose himself as he looked at Corrin with a smirk. "Thanks for the help, kid, I've been tired enough as it is." Said Kelon, talking to Corrin.

- Draksis - Land of discord - Chaos shrine -

 

Within the Chaos shrine, a dark portal opened up, as Draksis walked out of it, his cape flowing behind him with his greatsword strapped to his back. Draksis looked around, he wished to speak with Chaos, or Garland. Whoever was in charge really.

 

"Chaos! I come with news..." Draksis shouted, hoping that someone would hear.

 

 

 - Hektor (Present) - Lufenia -

 

Hektor looked onto the destruction left by Draksis, one man dead, other in despair, and many wounded. He did not like this, not at all. Nodding towards Johnny as he began to dig. " I shall check on the others...If you'l excuse me..." Hektor spoke as he walked over to Elia, who was now preparing a spell to revive Aqua, who was being held in the arms of Terra. 

 

"I should have interfered sooner..." Hektor spoke kneeling beside Elia. "We meet again...Though not in the best of circumstances..." Hektor spoke to both Terra and Elia softly.

- Hektor - Flashback - Vs Mateus -

 

"By no means I doubt you power, I merely speak about fate." Hektor answered readjusting his suit. "And where I come from, magic is both learned and inherited. You master it and in turn it becomes a part of you. Though some use spirits to assist them, those who do not have any talent with an element. " Hektor explained how magic worked in his. The next questions however made him frown.

 

"It wasn't easy, but me and the survivors banded together, and sook out the true perpetrators of the crime to our school, we had a lead, however it proved hard to follow, the path ahead was full of hardships. And we even came accross some gods." Hektor told a part of his tale as he readjusted his suit before speaking next.

 

He sighed, "Indeed, I was unlucky enough to be cursed by the god of time in my world, you see, each of us came in contact with a god, some came in contact with the god of fire, others: Thunder and the god of creation herself. I had the 'pleasure' of coming in contact with the god of time in my world. To whom I offered my services in exchange for time based magic, as you have seen me use." Hektor explained, "However...some gods were conspiring against one another. And many of them had to fall. The god of time was one of them, felled by my hand and my friends. And since I was under his service and had inherited his power...I am 'stuck' in time, per say. I cannot age, I cannot deteriorate, my body heals by itself at an acelerated rate as if it was skipping the healing proccess of itself, I am cursed to walk the land, and see life flourish and perish, such has happened to my friends..." Hektor spoke.

 

"And of course it allows me to travel through time on occasions and peer into the future, thought it happens at random times." Hektor stopped, "Now...your power doesn't look like the type someone would learn reading a tome, specially not those giant fireballs you were casting...does this has anything to do with demons and where they come from?" Hektor asked Mateus this time.

Near Giant's Cave - In acquaintance with Schala, Locke & Gau 
 

Szybel felt a slight tranquility when she was told that they weren't going to harm her and offered to nurse her wounds. Due to the circumstances of her situation she held a sense of dubiety in the back of her mind. Nevertheless, she extended her injured arm to Schala as a gesture of a greeting as well as accepting her offer. 

 

"My name is Szybel. Nice to meet you all."

 

She wondered who was Chaos, and whether or not he had something to do with why she was present in an unknown land. She thought to herself: 

 

'Loved ones? Worlds? I don't think I have-'

 

She refrained from having the thought for she herself couldn't make such an assumption simply because she did not know. 

 

"Why would he want to destroy The Worlds? What does he want?"

 

 

- Hektor (Present) - Lufenia -

Aqua gasped as she woke up. "Terra..." Terra was happy that she survived. "Aqua..." he hugged her and begin to cry. She hugged him back. Terra looks at Hektor and said. "Hey. Good to see you again."

 

Link gets a red potion and drinks it. He rushed towards Johnny and decided to help him. "Hey, let me help you out."

~Chaos, appearing inside the Old Chaos Shrine~Smoke and fire began to swarm and take form on the throne sitting in the Old Chaos Shrine. The form of Chaos appeared from the smoke and began to address the dark warrior."Draksis, my dark spirit..." the voice distorted by fire came out of the figure. "What news do you bring of me from the battlefield?"~Xemnas, Giant's Cave~"What Chaos wants..." a voice came from the shadows nearby, materializing in the form of a man in a black coat. "...is victory. To gain victory is to prove his power. Beyond that, only Chaos knows." Two beams of red energy came out of the man's hands and the man began to walk towards the strange maiden and Schala, "You two are to come with us."~Elia, the White Mage, and Johnny, Lufenia~Elia smiled at Aqua's revival and addressed Hektor, "It is good to see you. Thank you for driving off that foul man."Johnny looked up from digging Ruddy's grave with Link, "That was no man. He was something else entirely.""Indeed," Elia said, nodding to Johnny's statement. "This Draksis character is no small matter." Elia shook her head, "Enough of this trifling topic. What happened after you got us out to Elfheim, Hektor?"Johnny returned to his work, thinking only of one thing.Vengeance.~Sora, Lightning and Corrin, Sanctuary~Sora watched as Ganondorf transformed into a massive beast. Sora backed up against the barrier Ganondorf had put up and called out to his allies on the other side of the barrier, "Guys? A little help here?"Lightning looked up from her current adversary to Sora and reached for the stone Johnny had given her. The armored guy on the horse...Could he cut through the barrier?Lightning grasped the stone and called out, "Odin! Come to me!"The armored man appeared from the stone and looked towards the barrier. Readying the sword, Odin began his charge towards the barrier.Corrin, seeing this from afar, flew close behind Odin, trying to strike the barrier shortly after Odin, hoping to break the barrier.~Garland, Kefka's Tower~One swing of Garland's sword disrupted much of the bones and Gaster Blasters sent towards him, and a follow-up blast from Garland's left hand sent the other Gaster Blasters flying back."I'm trembling in my boots, girl," Garland taunted. "Your creatures mean nothing before me! You use them instead of fighting me yourself! Just like the foul summoners of my land's past." Garland's sword switched to axe-form and Garland readied it to bring it down on Elsa, "I'm not even at my full strength, and you still are nothing before me!"

~Garland, Kefka's Tower~One swing of Garland's sword disrupted much of the bones and Gaster Blasters sent towards him, and a follow-up blast from Garland's left hand sent the other Gaster Blasters flying back."I'm trembling in my boots, girl," Garland taunted. "Your creatures mean nothing before me! You use them instead of fighting me yourself! Just like the foul summoners of my land's past." Garland's sword switched to axe-form and Garland readied it to bring it down on Elsa, "I'm not even at my full strength, and you still are nothing before me!"

The Gaster Blasters whined when the blast hit them and disappeared. No! He's gonna get it now!, Elsa thought angrily. She looked at him straight in the face and said, "So that's how it is, then? Fine! I'll fight you myself! But you're gonna regret saying that when i'm through with you!" And with that said, she jumped into the air and gave him a good karate kick to the face. Since she was in her EX mode, that would make it more effective.

- Draksis - The Conqueror - Old Chaos shrine -

 

Draksis looked over as Chaos emerged from his throne. In full demonic glory, no wonder. Unlike other chaos subordinates, Draksis did not bow, he bowed to no one, not even a god. Granted he didn't treat anyone he deemed worthy with disrespect, but still. 

 

Crossing his arms as Draksis looked over to Chaos, Draksis began to report. "I have news on the cosmos's warriors, I engaged a group at Lufenia. They were formidable, but not up to the task...I beat them down, but they survived..." Draksis began explaining what happened, "Good news however, I took care of the traitor named Ruddy, the man is dead and should pose no more trouble to you." Draksis mentioned Ruddy's death.

 

- Hektor - time traveling gentleman - Lufenia -

 

"The man wasn't physical, it was a dark spirit controlling a suit of armor. I've seen those in my world, but none with such power and...well...sentience." Hektor spoke about Draksis's physiology and how it resembled the posessed armors commonly found in necromancer's lairs in his world. 

 

Hektor turned to Elia and tipped his hat as she asked him about what happened at Elfheim. "I did battle with that man, Mateus. thats his name...he was powerful, but we fought to a standstill, when both sides figured they couldn't defeat the other, we simply parted ways. Until we meet again, the battle will continue in a tie." He spoke with a nod, turning to Johnny, then looking back at Elia "If you'l excuse me madam" Hektor spoke as he walked over to Johnny, who was still working on burying Ruddy.

 

"What did he do to you? I saw a good portion of the fight and he could have taken you down when you were vulnerable after your last attack, instead he simply tossed you aside...what happened?" Hektor asked Johnny, clearly concerned and curious.

Her attacks had pushed him back considerably more than the lasers the creatures fired earlier, but Garland liked getting his hands dirty.Garland stabbed his sword into the ground, "Yes! Let us fight like we were always intended! No tricks, no weapons! Just the full forces of our own bodies waging war on each other!"Garland ran at Elsa and threw a punch towards her.~Johnny, Lufenia~https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m09KrtCgiCAJohnny stopped digging, having reached a sufficient depth for a grave and climbed out of the hole.He took a quick sigh and began to talk to Hektor, "I've got this ability, more of a quirk, you see...I can see into people's memories and experience or witness them. Usually I use it to try and figure out weak points in an opponent's combat ability but..." Johnny looked up to the gentleman, "When I tried to do it on Draksis, he figured it out and started showing me all these memories, from before he became that dark spirit."Johnny stood up and walked over to Ruddy's body, picking it up, before walking back to the grave and laying the body to rest, "I've never had someone turn that power on me before. It was the strangest thing ever for me." Johnny shook his head, "He may be the most dangerous person on this battlefield."~Chaos, appearing inside the Old Chaos Shrine~Chaos laughed at Draksis, "Excellent, my warrior! One less pest on the battlefield." Chaos considered the thought of reviving Ruddy, but decided against it."The traitor in rags is no one worthy of revival. He is a common thief, and he would only try to barter his way out of my control and submission. He is the first to die, it is better that he stay dead."The smoky form of Chaos rose from the throne, "What do you plan to do next, Draksis?"

Elsa grinned proudly when her attack hit him well. Yes! That physical training with my dad really paid off. I'm gonna keep doing it until he tires himself out..., she thought, feeling good about using her moves. Before she could hit him again, though, he slammed his sword into the ground. She remembered to keep herself steady and closed her eyes. Then she opened them and saw that he had started running toward her and was aiming to punch her. But Elsa dodged it and attacked him with a roundhouse kick from behind to his head.

--Schala, Locke, and Caius -- Forest near Giant's Cave--

Schala's gaze only softened as she wrapped her hands around Szybel's shoulders.  With that she began to hold her hand just over her arm, a soft amber glow emanating from her palm.  It began to seep into the young girl's arm, healing her of her afflictions, when the blue-haired mage was distracted mid-heal and whipped around. Standing not too far away was Caius, her former captor, and two other men that she was entirely unfamiliar with, though looked just as black-hearted as the former.  The Zealot princess rose fully, shooting a glare to each of them in turn.

 

The treasure hunter wasn't going to stand for this.  No way, not when two ladies and a child relied on him.  He threw an arm out in front of Schala and Szybel, his eyes flashing dangerously.  "I don't think you guys are going to just storm right in here and grab these two, not without a fair fight.  I don't know any of you, but as far as I'm concerned anyone who represents Chaos is no friend of mine."

 

With incredible speed Locke darted up to Xemnas, twin knives out as he slashed at the man diagonally.  Gau watched the battle from up in the tree, crying out,  "No, Locke!  Uwao!  Me can help, too!"  The grassy-maned kid leapt from the tree, tackling Caius before he could even see what struck him.  Both the child and the man fell to the ground, the dark guardian fighting to free himself from the child's death grip.

Kefka wol xathnan Terra at kefkas tower

Xathnan tired of Garland's assault on Elsa. He teleported behind Garland now just a twisted form. Xathnan threatens Garland. "I'll give you one chance to surrender! Or else!" Meanwhile the warrior joined forces with Elsa as he slashed at Garland and filled his sheil with light and bashed him with it. The warrior turned to Elsa. "How are you holding up?" Terra looked at Noel seemingly free from the clowns control. "Wh-where am I? How come your helping me? Your with Cosmos I'm your enemy." Kefka took the blunt if Magus' attack. "Damn you fool now she's gonna get away! Ooooh! I'm gonna love killing you! And that worthless sister of yours!" Kefka launched a flare and ultima spell followed by thundaga.

 

Ace wanders into the forest near giants cave. He sees warriors he's never seen before. The only familiar face being caius. He looks to xemnas. "Hey what's going on here?!" Xigbar takes this opportunity to approach schala. "If I were you I would just give up. Hahaha." Xigbar summons his arrow guns shoots and warps them above schalas head making them rain down.

"I'll give you one chance to surrender! Or else!" Meanwhile the warrior joined forces with Elsa as he slashed at Garland and filled his sheil with light and bashed him with it. The warrior turned to Elsa. "How are you holding up?" 

-Elsa, Kefka's Tower-

 

Elsa grinned as the Warrior Of Light helped to deliver another blow to Garland. Then she heard him ask how she was, to which she said, "I'm doing well, warrior. And i feel great giving this bastard a taste of my moves. Hold on one second." She went back to Garland and gave him a front snap kick to his face, hoping it would hurt him again.

~Mateus, Flashback~

 

"Fate? I see..." Mateus was interested in what Hektor said about magic. "So, in your world mastering magic affects your personality? How does that work?"

Mateus listened carefully about Hektor's story. "So you got your powers from the god of time? Interesting..."

Mateus then answered Hektor's question: "Indeed. I got these powers in Hell, where these demons come from. I learned these powerful spells from Satan, the Lord of Hell. " In reality, Mateus got his powers by killing Satan and becoming the new Lord of Hell, he still wished to keep his true power as a secret from Hektor and the rest of the warriors.

 

~Genesis, Sanctuary~

 

After seeing Odin and Corrin's efforts to break the barrier, Genesis decided to help as well. "You need some help?"

He enchanted his sword with magic, making it appear like a red, flaming sword,continuously hitting the barrier in order to help destroy it.

 

~Magus, Kefka's tower~

 

Seeing that Terra came back to her senses, Magus trusted Noel to explain the situation to Terra.

Magus was not angered by the taunt, he thought that Kefka was bluffing: "Is that so? I think that Chaos, your master will not be happy to hear that. After all, why would his warriors attempted to capture her back if Chaos had no problem killing her?" There was of course, the possibility that capturing Schala was only Caius' agenda in order to protect the person he mentioned, and Magus knew that. However, if that was the case, Magus knew that Caius will not let Schala die in order to protect said person.

Magus then noticed that Kefka was about to cast some spells. He quickly cast Barrier on himself, then drew his Scythe and used it to protect himself, managing to greatly reduce the damage he received from the spells barrage compared to the damage he was supposed to take.

"So this clown is a mage... " Magus said it out loud, in order to taunt Kefka.

Seeing that Kefka is a mage, Magus switched to close-range combat in order to give Kefka as little time as possible to cast his spells. He ran towards Kefka, then swung his scythe in an attempt to slash across Kefka's chest.

 

(Changed Hektor's speech color to bright green...because its easier to find in the font coloring tool).

 

- Draksis - The conqueror - Old chaos shrine. -

 

Draksis stood motionless as Chaos laughed and congratulated him on his feat. With his arms crossed as always, looking at Chaos as the smoke figure began to rise from its throne. 

 

"I will resume my duties, I will find more of Cosmos's warriors and test their mettle, the only question now is where to start." Draksis explained what his next objective was, "That is, unless you require me to do something else". Draksis spoke to the being.

 

 

- Hektor - Time traveling gentleman - Lufenia.

 

"You have the unique trait of being able to read other people's thoughts and memories? thats impressive!" Hektor spoke with a smile at Johnny, before the man began explaining what happened in further detail about Draksis.

 

"I do believe its obvious that Draksis was trying to show you something, pherhaps make you understand him? or..." Hektor stopped for a second to think. Tipping his had and readjusting his suit. "Or...even attempt to corrupt you from the inside of your mind...You're right, that man is certainly a menace." Hektor spoke, "But seeing what he was able to do by himself...It gives me a horrible feeling, what if he engages other warriors by themselves? Do they stand a chance?" Hektor proposed a worrying question.

 

 

 

- Hektor - Flashback - 

 

"The now, dead,  god of time...I miss the old sod, he was a decent being to chat and work with..." Hektor lamented for a second before turning his gaze at Mateus, who began answering his previous's questions. 

 

"So I see, you must have made a pact with him in order to have his demon, regardless of what you had to do to acquire these mighty powers of yours" Hektor spoke as he had a small smile on his face as he looked over his stopwatch again. "Do you have any more questions about me? Because i'd say its probably time we resume our fight isn't it?" 

--Noel -- Kefka's Tower--

The brunet looked upon Terra with empathy.  At her words he shook his head.  "No, no.  You were a product of what Kefka was forcing you to do.  You're not our enemy.  Me, and Cosmos, and everyone that I work with would know this.  He had complete control over you using that thing"--he gestured off into the distance, though the slave crown was no where in sight.  "Come with us.  I'll protect you, and no one has to harm you or make you do things you don't want ever again.  Okay?"

 

With that, Noel guided the young woman away, away from all of the conflict that was going on presently.  "Listen, Terra: I need you to do something for me.  There is a child here that is in need of protecting while her mother fights.  Can you do this for us?"  He could still hear the shouts and grunts of combat, and knew that he couldn't leave Magus alone in facing off against Kefka.  While he was indeed a court mage, he hadn't received his status and title for nothing.  He grasped Terra's shoulders and offered her a smile before saying, "I need to go help my friend, but I'll be back for you," and darting off.

 

Magus had decided to take battle close range, which was probably the best strategy against a fiend such as Kefka.  Noel closed his eyes, separating his blade into two twin swords once more.  His eyes flashed dangerously as he opened them, having just cast haste upon himself.  With that Noel sped like lightning in the direction of his target, slashing diagonally in hopes of striking the monster.  "How dare you treat her like that?!" he snapped, eyes still ablaze.

~Chaos, appearing inside the Old Chaos Shrine~Smoke and fire began to swarm and take form on the throne sitting in the Old Chaos Shrine. The form of Chaos appeared from the smoke and began to address the dark warrior."Draksis, my dark spirit..." the voice distorted by fire came out of the figure. "What news do you bring of me from the battlefield?"~Xemnas, Giant's Cave~"What Chaos wants..." a voice came from the shadows nearby, materializing in the form of a man in a black coat. "...is victory. To gain victory is to prove his power. Beyond that, only Chaos knows." Two beams of red energy came out of the man's hands and the man began to walk towards the strange maiden and Schala, "You two are to come with us."~Elia, the White Mage, and Johnny, Lufenia~Elia smiled at Aqua's revival and addressed Hektor, "It is good to see you. Thank you for driving off that foul man."Johnny looked up from digging Ruddy's grave with Link, "That was no man. He was something else entirely.""Indeed," Elia said, nodding to Johnny's statement. "This Draksis character is no small matter." Elia shook her head, "Enough of this trifling topic. What happened after you got us out to Elfheim, Hektor?"Johnny returned to his work, thinking only of one thing.Vengeance.~Sora, Lightning and Corrin, Sanctuary~Sora watched as Ganondorf transformed into a massive beast. Sora backed up against the barrier Ganondorf had put up and called out to his allies on the other side of the barrier, "Guys? A little help here?"Lightning looked up from her current adversary to Sora and reached for the stone Johnny had given her. The armored guy on the horse...Could he cut through the barrier?Lightning grasped the stone and called out, "Odin! Come to me!"The armored man appeared from the stone and looked towards the barrier. Readying the sword, Odin began his charge towards the barrier.Corrin, seeing this from afar, flew close behind Odin, trying to strike the barrier shortly after Odin, hoping to break the barrier.~Garland, Kefka's Tower~One swing of Garland's sword disrupted much of the bones and Gaster Blasters sent towards him, and a follow-up blast from Garland's left hand sent the other Gaster Blasters flying back."I'm trembling in my boots, girl," Garland taunted. "Your creatures mean nothing before me! You use them instead of fighting me yourself! Just like the foul summoners of my land's past." Garland's sword switched to axe-form and Garland readied it to bring it down on Elsa, "I'm not even at my full strength, and you still are nothing before me!"

~Garland, Kefka's Tower~

Garland let out a mighty bellow, enjoying the reaction he had gotten from the maiden. Her attacks had pushed him back considerably more than the lasers the creatures fired earlier, but Garland liked getting his hands dirty.Garland stabbed his sword into the ground, "Yes! Let us fight like we were always intended! No tricks, no weapons! Just the full forces of our own bodies waging war on each other!"Garland ran at Elsa and threw a punch towards her.~Johnny, Lufenia~

Johnny stopped digging, having reached a sufficient depth for a grave and climbed out of the hole.He took a quick sigh and began to talk to Hektor, "I've got this ability, more of a quirk, you see...I can see into people's memories and experience or witness them. Usually I use it to try and figure out weak points in an opponent's combat ability but..." Johnny looked up to the gentleman, "When I tried to do it on Draksis, he figured it out and started showing me all these memories, from before he became that dark spirit."Johnny stood up and walked over to Ruddy's body, picking it up, before walking back to the grave and laying the body to rest, "I've never had someone turn that power on me before. It was the strangest thing ever for me." Johnny shook his head, "He may be the most dangerous person on this battlefield."~Chaos, appearing inside the Old Chaos Shrine~Chaos laughed at Draksis, "Excellent, my warrior! One less pest on the battlefield." Chaos considered the thought of reviving Ruddy, but decided against it."The traitor in rags is no one worthy of revival. He is a common thief, and he would only try to barter his way out of my control and submission. He is the first to die, it is better that he stay dead."The smoky form of Chaos rose from the throne, "What do you plan to do next, Draksis?"

(Sorry for the wait. ) ~Terra, Aqua, and Link~ ~Lufenia~Terra felt depressed when he heard Ruddy was be killed by Draksis. "Ruddy.... I'm so sorry I didn't save you.... Corrin isn't gonna like this, that for sure..." Aqua gasped when she heard about the news. Depression and sadness is only things that she feeling right now. "It's not your fault, Terra... that man is no human... just a monster of darkness..."Link finished helping Johnny with Ruddy's grave. After hearing Johnny's ability, he was shocked. "So that's why you were looking at Aqua. I noticed both of you are talking a little bit more often when we were at Melmond and then, Elfheim." He then remembered something. He looks around for a boy with blonde hair. "Wait, where's Ven?!"~Ganondorf, Ventus, Xion, and Serena~ ~Sanctuary~Ganondorf charged towards Sora as he covered in dark aura. Ven helps out Odin by Using multiple magics at the barrier. Xion kept dodging the iron knuckles' attacks. Serena look down sadly and said. "It's all my fault... they got hurt, all because of me.... I'm so sorry about this...." She breaks into tears.

(Sorry for the delay, guys, let's keep this moving on!)~Johnny and Elia, the White Mage, Lufenia~"Pretty much," Johnny said to Link. "I can only really do it if someone has let their mental guard down, if they aren't paying attention or if they're actively thinking about it."Elia walked up to the now covered grave of Ruddy and placed a sword she had found inside the castle down as a gravestone. Elia held her staff in hand as she looked around, "Any last words for our fellow warrior?"Johnny stepped forward, "I've got a few." Johnny knelt down and held some of the fresh dirt in his hands, "I stayed behind to get answers, to save people. We may have won Lufenia, but we still lost a man in the fighting. But no more." Johnny stood up, "No more people die because of me."Tay flew out of Johnny's pouch and hovered in front of his face, "What do you suppose we do?"

"We should report back to Cosmos," Johnny said, before he felt a strange presence call out from the north. Johnny turned to face it, "Although...there's something I want to check out..."~Garland, Kefka's Tower~Garland first felt the kick to the back of his head, sending him down. Then the shield, knocking him to the right, and another kick sending him backwards.Garland scowled, "Impressive, but yet...you are still not close to beating me."Garland rushed forward, his fists swinging for the warrior and Elsa, before he jumped up and dropped, causing the earth to shift again.~Sora and Corrin, Sanctuary~Sora saw Ganon charge and narrowly dodged out of the way. Getting clear of the attack, Sora swung at Ganon's side, hoping to do some damage to the beast.Corrin looked over to Serena, "None of this is your fault. No one knew he was coming or that he was even here before this." Corrin held out his hand to the girl, "No one's down, no one's been hurt. Let's keep fighting."~Xemnas, outside Giant's Cave~The slash from the thief cut up Xemnas' robe a bit, but did no real damage to the Nobody.Xemnas's attention turned to the boy behind him. Without moving, Xemnas called to the boy, "This matter is none of your concern. Walk away before we have to make this even worse." Xemnas then looked to Caius, who was struggling with the savage child, "Come, Caius. Let us finish this quickly."Xemnas then raised his right hand, still clutching his ethereal blade, and swung it down at the thief before him, trying to knock him away.~Chaos, appearing inside the Old Chaos Shrine~Chaos smiled, but it did not easily come across through the smoke and fire."Do as you wish, warrior. I need to guard here. Your fellow warriors are already in battle with the others. There are a few you have not tested yet, but you may proceed."

~Kelon, Sanctuary~

 

Kelon looked over at Corrin and at the barrier, gripping his Shadowsplicer tightly. He was trying to figure out how to destroy the barrier so that he and the others could gang up on Ganon. Sadly, nothing came to his head, clenching a fist. Suddenly, he thought of something, and looked at Corrin. "Hey kid, do you mind helping me destroy this barrier?" Asked Kelon, asking Corrin a question.

~Corrin, Sanctuary~Corrin turned to the newcomer, "Don't call me kid. What do you have in mind?"Whoever this person was, he seemed to be a tactician of sorts. A handy thing indeed during war."Do you require my dragon form or my sword?" Corrin asked. Knowing the plan was always the first step of executing it.

--Locke, Gau, Schala, and Caius-- Outside Giant's Cave--

Sweat gleamed down Locke's temple as Xemnas countered his attack, bringing one of his ethereal blades down at him.  Locke did not have much to shield with but merely his daggers, which he brought out in front of him in the shape of an X before leaping back.  Xemnas was one of Chaos' big baddies and certainly couldn't be underestimated, that much the treasure hunter knew to be certain.

 

With haste still cast upon him, Locke used the opportunity to lunge at Xemnas and attempt to kick him in the chest with a roundhouse kick, his dual blades still raised in defense.  While it was certainly no moves that would cause any death blows, it bought him some time, especially for the girls and Gau to make an escape.

 

But Gau was no leaving.  No siree bub.

 

Caius grunted upon Xemnas' remark, irritated by him stating the obvious.  "Right on it, Superior," he muttered darkly, grasping Gau by the scruff of the neck.  The child howled out in pain, going limp in his hand.  "Get off me, flea!"

 

With that, Gau was flung into a nearby tree, causing the feral child to weakly let out a groan before growing still on the ground.  Schala's eyes widened at the scene, watching in horror as Gau was mistreated so.  "You . . . monster!" she cried, "I didn't think you could go so low, but you have severely proved me wrong."

 

A dark laugh escaped Caius as he began to step forward, two slow strides at a time.  "You should not be surprised by me still, Princess.  I thought that you were bright enough to realize that I'm willing to do what it takes, and a few harmless casualties are nothing new to me."  He extended a hand to Schala as he approached, his eyes narrowing slightly.  "Now, come with me, my dear, and no one else gets hurt."

 

Panic rose to her throat as she glanced around nervously, glancing to Locke and finally to Szybel.  "You are never taking us!"  As Caius approached Schala began to prepare a spell, a ball of energy forming between her palms before sending it spiraling in his direction.
