The war of the gods.Fought valiantly by heroes of yore for eons, the battle between Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony, and Chaos, the God of Discord, has left a world torn apart by conflict.And yet, even a tale like this had a beginning.The very first conflict of harmony and discord.------------The warriors had be summoned. The assembly stood before their goddess, in rapture of the beatiful maiden before them.A twinge of regret filled the goddess, and she looked away from her warriors. She was ashamed to have gathered them, to have them fight a war in her steed, and for what? She knew exactly what was to come from this war, and yet, she went along with it.However, the mighty dragon would not control her."My faithful warriors," she started, her voice soothing any who had noticed her conflict. "I do not wish this upon you. What I send you to do, I do not wish on any." A light began to emanate from Cosmos, which began to spread around the assembly. "However, there is hope." Each of the warriors felt a strange power surging within them, and the assembly looked again to their goddess. "I give each of you a special power. The power of the crystals. Stay true to your virtues in this conflict, and your crystals shall be manifested."She smiled, her plan already set in motion, as she finished her proclamation, "Go, my warriors. Let your light shine again in this world!"------------Chaos had already dismissed his warriors, only a few minutes after summoning them. He had told them only this;

"Do as you wish. Fight the warriors of Cosmos and claim victory over her. Only know this...Those who oppose me shall not prevail."The warriors of Chaos had gathered in the old Chaos Shrine, led by the knight Garland, a mighty warrior, the second in command of Chaos.Garland let out a mighty bellow, "Chaos has summoned us all to wage mighty war in his behalf! It is our duty to him that all of Cosmos' chosen fall by our might!"Those in assembly knew why Chaos had chosen them simply by looking at Garland and his massive sword.Chaos wanted the mighty, the strong, the fearless and the wicked to lead him to victory over the goddess. All they needed to do was defeat their enemy.

Johnny felt excited. He shouldn't have been, but he was. Moments ago, he was drifting through time and space, crossing various parts of the multiverse, trying to get home, but now...He was going to war.He, being at near the front of the assembly of heroes, called out to the rest after Cosmos had finished."Alright, everyone! Let's go on an adventure!"Some of the heroes had already begun to split into groups, and Johnny wandered through, looking for someone to team up with.------------Corrin was ashamed to be in the presence of Garland. He had traded his false father, a mad tyrant in Nohr, for another mad god seeking control of the world.Corrin began to walk away, out the doors of the Chaos Shrine."I went back to Nohr to stop the conflict, and here I am in another," Corrin said, adjusting his armor and equipment. "Why am I always in these scenarios?" He looked up to the world outside the shrine."I will not fight your war for you, Chaos."

Xathnan wandered off into his thoughts remembering the world he came from._.....     It was the time after the keyblade war.  Man i remember it like it was yesterday .  Was 10 years old the world was disoriented from the war many lives lost.  Some people dead some people hearts taken by the darkness.  My world wasnt a pleasant place.  I had lost family in the war.  I only had my granfather left i told him i wanted to be trained to weild a keyblade  "You must be out your damn mind boy!  Ya know damn well you aint capable of that!  You gonna stay here and train with me"  My grandfather handed me my first spear it was small enough for me to train with.  I wasn't enthused.  What was i supposed to do with a stick but my grandfather was from a long lineage of dragoons and they were feared on the battlefield.

((Long dialogue between my characters, but in case nobody wants to read it all only the last paragraph is relevant.))

Gau (Neutral/Cosmos) and Ruddy (Chaos) -- an odd pair between contesting fronts

"UWAO!" Gau bellowed as he landed on the hard ground, twitching and snarling soon after as he analysed his new environment.

It was no longer the Veldt, his native grassland, but an alien land so different from wild blades, bushes, and shrubs.  The rocks beneath him felt scarified to his hands and feet, the air smelt like a Malboro's bad breath, and beneath him contesting energies laced together and, agitating his wild nature, forced his heckles to rise on the back of his neck.  Whatever this land was, it was going to undergo something drastic, and Gau feared it to be another war.

"Feels weird, innit right?" spoke a voice beside him, and Gau turned to see a dark-haired man in his late twenties in his face, grinning stupidly.

Instinctively, Gau swiped his hand wildly towards the man, but the latter twirled away, air flowing across his loose and tattered robes in wild eddies.

"Whoa, my main wild child, hold your horses!" the dark-haired stranger replied as the wind swiftly died down, holding his hands out.  "The name's Ruddy.  I was sent here just like you, but you and I can plainly see that I don't want to be near you anymore.  Thusly, you go one direction and I go another, comprende?  There's a war to be fought, and you ain't my type of companion."

Gau stared awkwardly, his head angled, but after some time he nodded and replied with "Gau understands."

"Very good.  Off with you now.  You seem like their type over there with those goody-goodies"--he pointed over to the Cosmos supporters--"so shoo.  Scamper off."

Gau did so unhappily, looking back upon the man every so often as he trudged and later ran away.  Ruddy chuckled and turned his back towards the wild child.

"Cute kid, but there ain't no familiarity with him, and it's best to keep it that way.  Ah well.  Now, to see what the fuss is."

With that, both neared the major parties of people.  Gau approached Mog, Johnny, Lightning, and others still with a happy glint in his eye.  Ruddy appeared near Aqua and Magus and others still with a slippery grin, saying, "Love the costumes.  What's going on here?  I want in."

Elsa saw two men come near them. They looked strange as well. One looked like he was only a teen, though she couldn't tell, the other looking like he could be as old as her husband. Well, sort of.

Johnny turned back to the others as he wandered into the fields of Cornelia, on the edge of Sanctuary, "C'mon, we haven't got all day! Let's go kick some Chaos butt!"Taybor had returned from scouting ahead and had landed on Johnny's shoulder, "Nothing but barren wasteland up ahead."Johnny turned to the fairy, "Any sort of settlements?"Taybor shook her head, "Nope. Not until Melmond and that's not saying much. It's practically become ruins in the swamp it sits in."Johnny let out a sad sigh and looked down, "I wonder if there's anyone else in this world besides the warriors."That was when Johnny saw a man, seemingly savage but with a glint in his eye, begin to approach him and the others. Johnny gripped his sword as he began to address the man, "Hello, who are you?"----------Corrin jumped at the approach of another member to their party."Love the costumes. What's going on? I want in."Corrin turned to see a man in rags approach them. He had been at the initial gathering with Chaos before, but he had vanished rather fast. Why had he come back?Corrin addressed the man, "We were just...uh...forming an alliance and figuring out a way to...uh...intercept Cosmos' warriors." Corrin quickly covered his tracks, "I saw you vanish not long after Chaos dismissed us. Do you have any news?"

Elsa was still confused about all of this. But she didn't care. She was desperate to go into battle already. So she said, "Are we going or not? I really want to start fighting bad people..."

Johnny smiled at Elsa, "I admire your spirit. We should be there within the hour." Once again addressing the savage man, Johnny calmly stated, no longer gripping Excalibur, "What's your name, friend?"

(OOC: Vaude, Yessie's Aqua is on Cosmos' side, not chaos lol)

The moogle recognized the teen as his ally, one year ago: "It's okay Johnny, he's an ally of mine, his name is Gau, Kupo!"

Mog was excited seeing Gau again. He did help him fight the empire, after all:

"So how is it Gau? It's  been a year, kupo!

Mog also remembered something, upon hearing Johnny's discussion about other people in this world: Oh yeah! I wanted to ask something light warrior dude, kupo! Are there moogles in this world as well, kupo? You seem to have some knowledge about this world, kupo.

---------

Magus was a bit worried, thinking he got discovered, but he was still calm. He didn't remember him from the meeting, since he shortly vanished, and was too focused on what was going on rather than the people with him.

Magus thought to himself: "The warrior was alone, so taking him out in the worst-case scenario shouldn't pose a problem...not when there are four of us."

He added to Corrin's answer: And thinking of a plan. Mindless charging to a battle will results in a certain doom, without a proper plan.

Magus then asked: "What brings you here?"

Johnny looked to Mog, "Gau, huh? We'd love to take you along with us."Tay flew down to Mog, "I did see a few moogles around when I was scouting, but they look kinda different from you."

In the distance everybody saw a new figure but he didnt seem hostile.  He wore red hood so you couldnt see his face.  He was looking down to the ground while singing to himself.  "Walk on wandering souls For your respite we pray Let our humble song clear your heart of dismay Rekindle the flame in your souls and set you free So walk on and become the light that guides the way..."  He then looked up to see everyone.

The warrior looked to Mog "Moogles are the only ones native to this world.  But like all moogles they have a greed streak and will only help if payed.  So i wouldnt consider them allies

Johnny saw the boy approach. Ace, his name was? The two had met ever so briefly before Cosmos addressed her warriors. The boy had wandered off for a bit, before returning, it seemed."Ace?" Johnny inquired. "What's up? Are you coming with us?"

Elsa saw another newcomer come their way once more. She knew that they would have a full army when they would go to Melmond. She really wanted to practice her powers with everyone, but she thought that would be too risky. Because she thinks they would deem her too dangerous. So she kept them to herself. For now...

Ace looked up Johnny being the only one he recognized smiled slightly.  " I scouted the enemy territory.  We wont have an easy battle ahead of us.  A lot of heavially armored guys out there.  Reminded me of Lorican soldiers.  Whats going on here?"

  • Author

Johnny laughed a bit, "We've got us a little force ready to head over to Melmond. A warrior of Chaos caused a bit of commotion here and now we're going to teach him a lesson. It won't be a long trek. Are you in?"

"Are you sure your prepared for this fight?  No one knows what to expect.  Im in.  This world has its differences but one thing that is the same is war.  War is the only thing ive ever known.  So Johnny mission orders?

Johnny smiled and addressed the group, "Here's the plan: we get to Melmond, call this guy out and show him exactly how we do things here. Everybody got that?"

The warrior looked at everyone "You go to Melmond.  I will take care of things here. Be careful you never know what the enemy  has planned and i can sense trouble looms on the horizon.

Xathnan turned to Garland "Where are the other chaos warriors?  I haven't heard from them since the meeting."

Elsa nodded and said, "Yes, I got it." Finally, they were going to find the voice of that Chaos warrior. This battle would be perfect to show off her powers to that jerk. Elsa looked to the others and said, "Did you guys get that?"

Johnny held his hand out to the Warrior, "We all must do our part. And worry not, friend. If I must, I will give myself up to keep our allies safe."----------Garland looked slightly over at the boy Xathnan (OOC: sorry if I've been misspelling it this whole time) and began to talk, "Many have left to pursue their foes or their own devices. Chaos is no tactician, and I am no leader. These warriors are too unstable to be controlled by any but themselves." Garland turned away to look at Sanctuary, "We will see them soon enough. Cosmos' warriors unite with each other, and that shall be their undoing."

(its fine)

Indeed morale is easily broken.  Altho ur taking some fun but have it your way.  Ill get my fight no worries there.  Lets see how well they can keep up with me."  xathnan never doubted his skills he was well trained.   I began training with my granpa for several years and try as i might perfecting jump was a chore i got lost in despair and wanted to give up but that day changed everything.  I woke up that morning and i saw my grandfather's house surrounded by black smoke i ran into the dark cloud only to witness his heart being ripped from his chest by some strange creature.  With no hesitation i gave in to the dark impulses in my heart and never had trouble with jump again.  I killed the thing and developed my unusual powers.  I developed my own unique fighting style a combo of my new powers and my dragoon traing

((Hah!  Good catch there; I completely goofed and wrote down the wrong name for Magus' companion in my notebook, trying to make sense of who's where.  Thank you very much for that, Shun!))

Gau (Neutral/Cosmos)

Gau glanced around at his new friends, more than excited about being with his old comrade and a number of other nice-seeming folk.  In fact, the way he looked at Mog the moogle was a little intense, like a cat with a bird.  The feral youth salivated a little at the sight of the pom-pommed creature, wondering what Mog tasted like.  Probably chicken . . . or turkey . . . or stringy and taut like Garula jerky.

He shook his head and, standing upright for the first time in almost a year, replied, "Gau happy to see you too, Mog!  And others too!"

Soon enough, the conversation shifted and Gau found himself in a sea of new tactics and words, but a handful of those he could marginally understand.  He wanted to contribute or even listen in, but it was way over his head, so he decided to eye the enemy of his allies.

He could not see much, if not anything, but he thought about the first person he met here on this strange plane of existence, Ruddy.  Curious name.  Sounded like a good meal, had he not been human, and Gau was no cannibal.  Besides that thought, he wondered what went on in Ruddy's bushy head and whether he would be in trouble or not.

Ruddy Infratel (Chaos)

Ruddy laughed and replied, "No news, no news.  Just arrived from the middle of the battlefield to scout.  I did get to see a new face whoosh right in with a whoosh, however!  He would have been too much trouble to deal with.  He might have killed me if I continued talking with him, or our fighting would have triggered something bad like both sides rushing in, so I dismissed him away from the battle.  'Twould be smart to avoid conflict when it's trouble and attack when they don't see us coming.  Pick our battles, as it were."

Smiling wolfishly, he glanced around at the growing number of chaotic folk and held up his hands.

"I mean nothing towards all you ladies and gents, but we need to be cautious.  I too saw that Cosmos fella a while ago, and I argue that patience is needed before we barrel in.  We might be heading in to a trap."

Ace looked around at everybody there. Everyone seemed so diverse.  What kind of worlds could they be from he wondered.  "Names Ace everybody.  Just thought it would be proper to introduce myself.  Ace couldnt get off his mind why only he was chosen from class zero .

He waits and hearing everyone's conversation about going to the place called Melmond. *sigh* he was kinda bored. "whistling some random song" he got startled a little bit by Aqua.

~Aqua~

*laughs* Aqua laughs a little while She accidentally startled him. "I'm sorry about that." She sits down with him. "I see you got bored." She said. *smiles*

(OOC | I'm gonna try and move us to Melmond, if that's alright. Everyone else can catch up)Corrin laughed uneasily, "I agree. We four have no idea who Cosmos has brought into this conflict." Corrin again pointed to the Mirage Sandsea, further to the east, "We should make for there. I feel as if we might meet someone there..."-----------Elia had wandered this world for a while, and it was quite familiar to her. She and the Warrior had once wandered this world before, seeking to fix the world as it began to fail. And yet, this world seemed even more worse off.Elia had left as soon as she could. The Warrior did not seem to recognize her, and she was convinced she was better off alone than with others. She could trust her own abilities to keep her safe for the time being. And even if not, there were more warriors not far behind.Elia looked to the water as she crossed into the Land of Discord from Pravoka. The water always had a calming effect on her.She could fix this world. She knew she could.-----------Johnny smiled at the rag-tag group. Elsa, Mog, Lightning, Aqua, Link, Gau and Ace. A group ready to take on the world. And yet, disconnected somehow. As the group moved towards Melmond, Johnny looked again at Gau. This teen seemed to not understand him very well, but Johnny figured he could fix that. Johnny gazed into Gau's mind and tried to piece together a way to communicate with him."Hey, Gau," Johnny said to him. "Do you understand me?"

Neku glanced down at the pin he was holding. He had received it from cosmos, and it has a picture of a crystal on it. After receiving this "crystal", he tried to scan Cosmos in order to see her true intentions, but because she could not be scanned he decided to leave. He didn't trust Cosmos, so why should he trust anyone there? Why had Cosmos brought him to this realm? Was this another test by the Reapers? What was to become of him, and what was happening to his friends back in Shibuya? He knew that in order to survive, his psyche would not be enough and that he would have to open up to other warriors of Cosmos, but he had been traveling alone for so long and didn't know where the others were. He wondered if the others were still alive, or if the conflict was over.

*sigh* "Guess I just gotta keep going."

As Elia passed through the gateway to the Land of Discord, she turned and saw a boy in purple wandering nearby. He had looked familiar, wasn't he at the gathering of warriors?"Hello there!" Elia called out to the boy as she walked towards him. He seemed to be lost deep in thought, Elia noticed as she continued to address him, "Why have you wandered this way?"
