The war of the gods.Fought valiantly by heroes of yore for eons, the battle between Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony, and Chaos, the God of Discord, has left a world torn apart by conflict.And yet, even a tale like this had a beginning.The very first conflict of harmony and discord.------------The warriors had be summoned. The assembly stood before their goddess, in rapture of the beatiful maiden before them.A twinge of regret filled the goddess, and she looked away from her warriors. She was ashamed to have gathered them, to have them fight a war in her steed, and for what? She knew exactly what was to come from this war, and yet, she went along with it.However, the mighty dragon would not control her."My faithful warriors," she started, her voice soothing any who had noticed her conflict. "I do not wish this upon you. What I send you to do, I do not wish on any." A light began to emanate from Cosmos, which began to spread around the assembly. "However, there is hope." Each of the warriors felt a strange power surging within them, and the assembly looked again to their goddess. "I give each of you a special power. The power of the crystals. Stay true to your virtues in this conflict, and your crystals shall be manifested."She smiled, her plan already set in motion, as she finished her proclamation, "Go, my warriors. Let your light shine again in this world!"------------Chaos had already dismissed his warriors, only a few minutes after summoning them. He had told them only this;

"Do as you wish. Fight the warriors of Cosmos and claim victory over her. Only know this...Those who oppose me shall not prevail."The warriors of Chaos had gathered in the old Chaos Shrine, led by the knight Garland, a mighty warrior, the second in command of Chaos.Garland let out a mighty bellow, "Chaos has summoned us all to wage mighty war in his behalf! It is our duty to him that all of Cosmos' chosen fall by our might!"Those in assembly knew why Chaos had chosen them simply by looking at Garland and his massive sword.Chaos wanted the mighty, the strong, the fearless and the wicked to lead him to victory over the goddess. All they needed to do was defeat their enemy.

Johnny felt excited. He shouldn't have been, but he was. Moments ago, he was drifting through time and space, crossing various parts of the multiverse, trying to get home, but now...He was going to war.He, being at near the front of the assembly of heroes, called out to the rest after Cosmos had finished."Alright, everyone! Let's go on an adventure!"Some of the heroes had already begun to split into groups, and Johnny wandered through, looking for someone to team up with.------------Corrin was ashamed to be in the presence of Garland. He had traded his false father, a mad tyrant in Nohr, for another mad god seeking control of the world.Corrin began to walk away, out the doors of the Chaos Shrine."I went back to Nohr to stop the conflict, and here I am in another," Corrin said, adjusting his armor and equipment. "Why am I always in these scenarios?" He looked up to the world outside the shrine."I will not fight your war for you, Chaos."

Xathnan looked to garland.  "one of them is close.  I sense she is as battle ready as myself.  Shall we get started?"

Kefka reeled with laughter.  "It's about damn time!  Lets go!  Lets play!!!!!!!!!!!"

(OOC: Yep. No one does yet. Stay in character)"Yeah? Like two brothers, right?" Johnny said, seeing the images in Aqua's mind of the two boys laughing with her. "But Terra..." Johnny sees an image of Terra, his left hand covered in a dark aura appear in Aqua's mind. Memories stir of Terra falling into darkness bit by bit. "He is struggling with himself, right?" Johnny looks up to see Aqua's eyes, "I hope he does better than my brothers did...He seems too strong to fall like that..."

~Aqua~"I hope so too, Johnny.." she said. After that, she saw Lighting running away. "where's she going?!" Aqua goes after her, then they make it. "something's not right.." she summons her Keyblade, and looks both ways. "There's darkness in this place."

Lightning continued to run through the town. She then encountered Garland and Xathnan. However, it was Garland that peaked her interest. "Who are you?" She asked. She can feel the evil in his heart. She then remembered something. Something about the evil knight seemed familiar.

Lightning had heard stories of an evil knight and every detail about Garland, even the name mentioned in the stories, seemed to match. Exactly the same. Could it really be just a mere coincidence?

"Are you the evil knight Garland?" she asked.

Ace was interested. He never had friends. He wanted what she had maybe not a significant other but friends that he could one day consider friends. "Maybe one day ill have friends. One time i did make a friend. His name was izania. We talked about our siblings and the strange relationship with them. I decided to take him on a mission with me but to no avail he got killed in the line of duty. It was all my fault." Ace said sorrowfully

Elsa felt bad for him. So she gave him a hug. "I'm sure it wasn't your fault, honey." She knew that if her husband did something like that for her, which he would, she would do the same for him and her children. But then she also noticed Lightning leaving as well. "W-What is she doing? Why did she run off like that?"

Edited by KHUndertaleFan25

Ace blushed slightly not expecting the hug and then noticed both Aqua and Lightng ran off into the town.  "Lets go everybody.  We cant let them go alone.  Elsa  johnny you ready?

"Yes, I am." Elsa said, determined. Finally, this is was it. The moment she could show her powers. She contained them well for a human.

Ace catches up with Lightning , Xathnan Garland and Kefka.  He turns to Lightning "What were you thing charging in alone?!  Were in this mess together dnt you at least want some back up?  Im a cadet.  Im fully aware of the dangers of war."

Xathnan smiled as the pawns were lining up for him

"I was a soldier myself." Lightning replied. "This is nothing for me."

Lightning, ready for battle, charged at Garland. Gunblade in hand, she attacked the evil knight. However, her attack merely scratched his armour. Lightning jumped back before Garland could retaliate.

Ace noticed the other 2 and summoned his cards.  " Let us begin shall we?"  xathnan scoffed "Cards?  Is this a joke"  He couldnt  take Ace  seriously.  "You want to play games?  You will die like pink hair"  Xathnan summoned his spear and teleported from view while Kefka laughed maniacally and launched  a couple ultima spells towards the warriors

Elsa ran into the battle. She was gonna give these evil warriors a bad time. Her eyes started glowing purple and soon after, she snapped her fingers to summon strange creatures, which were called Gaster Blasters. They could shoot lasers that will decimate you in a second. She shot one straight at the bad warriors, hoping it would stun them.

Xathnan noticed Elsa the girl he threatened earlier.  Using his voice taunted the girl.  "you took your sweet time getting here.  I guess your child doesnt mean that much to you."  he said with a smirk.  He knew Garland wanted her but he couldnt back out now.

She growled, her eyes glowing even brighter. "SHUT UP! I CARE ABOUT MY CHILD'S SAFETY MORE THAN ANYTHING!" And so, she shot some bones, which were laced with poison, straight into his chest. Maybe that would knock some sense into that jerk.

Xathnan uses his telekinesis to redirect it back.  "sorry little one but projectiles are the worst way to go.  Teleports in front of her and gives a swift kick to her gut.  Maybe that will teach you to pick ur fights better

-Noel-

“Wow, apparently Chaos is lower than I thought, if you’re going to threaten a helpless child like that.”  The sound of clinking medal could be heard behind Elsa, as twin blades were merged into one.  Standing behind the young woman was a man not much younger than herself, his brown locks rustling gently in the wind.  His dark-blue eyes penetrated the cold Chaos warrior disdainfully, his partially gloved hand wrapped tightly around his sword.  Noel took a step forward, now standing alongside Elsa.  “Fight like a man and leave this mother and her child alone.  Only the most heartless of men could even dream up such an evil as one you’re considering.”

He turned to Elsa, his gaze meeting her briefly before nodding.  “It’s alright.  I know your child is tucked away safely, but it’s best that you go to her.  There’s nothing like not having a mother to raise you in this world.  Believe me . . . I know.”  Of course Noel had no intention to belittle the woman or second-guess her capabilities, but he couldn’t stand the thought of a mother risking her life when it was a tragedy which could be entirely avoided if he could help it.

Brandishing his sword before him, Noel got in a proper battle stance, ready for Xathnan’s worst.  “If you’re a real man, prove it and come at me.  I want to see if you have the guts to fight like one or if you’re so cowardly that you would attack a victim of war instead.”

(Will post for the others momentarily, but this is moving so fast that I wanted to at least get this one out there.)

Xathnan looked Noel in the eyes.  He could tell this man had strong convictions.  It was warriors like this he craved to battle.  "the means justifies the ends does it not.  My threats brought you all here.  I intend to slaughter you all."  he said this calmly.  Like this was natral for him.  He gripped the shaft of his spear ready at a moments notice.  "you should know full well... The weak serve the strong."

((Dang, you guys are fast.  However, if I may add my two cents here, be wary about auto-hitting, or landing an attack without the say-so of the opponent.  That way, it keeps things fair for everyone.))

Gau (Neutral/Cosmos)

As the entire company was walking towards a location unknown to the feral youth, Gau felt a strange probing of the mind, and he was quite reluctant to fully divulge himself to the intruder.  Once upon a time he fought mindflayers and other fell creatures whose main strength was of the mind, but he felt no evil from the sensation, and the strange comfort of human assistance relaxed him a little.

"Gau, mm . . . understands?  Not full knowing of all, but knowing some!  Fight bad guys in big bunch, and save world.  Gau did this before with Mr. Thou, Mog, and others, but not everyone here."

The conversation, as per usual, shifted quickly and switched from person to person, so the young man simply slipped away, following a few rushing combatants into the unknown.  He noticed soon afterwards the glints of a battle, and chaotic battle ensued with the ones he followed.

"Uwao . . ." he uttered after hiding behind a mound of rock and dirt, watching bones and lasers and ultima spells be lobbed about like nobody's business.  He quickly concluded that the best way he could assist was by staying out of the way for now, or at least until he can get the jump on the one who fired the ultima spells (Kefka).  Prickles of seething anger prodded at the young man's brain as he looked at the madman, an old hatred of many years built up towards the man.  Clawed fingers tore into the ground as he triggered his rage and became much alike a cat monster of his world, the Stray Cat, and he readied to spring into action when the time called for it.

Ruddy Infratel (Chaos)

Ruddy smiled deeply at the young man Corrin, pleased that he had a good head on his shoulders.  It would have been too much for everyone to rush blindly off into battle.

"Sounds like a plan.  I know a mite of time magic and can hasten everybody here if need be.  Shall we be off?  I can cast it whilst we walk or run or fly or, heck, whatever you guys with awesome clothes do."

With a wild grin, Ruddy chanted a small portion of Latin -- "Celeritas Carneus," to be precise, meaning "speed made of flesh" -- and cast it on himself as a show of good faith.  He did not know where Corrin or the others came from, but he hoped they would be trusting enough to not turn away his kindly gesture.

(Gulp, you guys are quick, especially for my lengthy posts; I'll try to post for Noel again to keep things going, but it may be a moment).

-Schala-

The enchantress watched in the distance as war ensued near Melmond.  Her emerald eyes were wide in horror, her expression nearly as pained as her heart.  This was all much more horrid than what she’d encountered back at Zeal, and far worse than any monstrosity that Lavos made her do.  After Chaos had freed her from her fate she has become nothing more than a slave to the dark warriors: men who cared nothing for life and wasted it away as though it were meaningless.  The blue-haired mage started to turn away to flee from the scene until a thick-armored man clapped her on the shoulder.  “His Excellency requires that you see this, my lady,” his deep voice murmured, a hint of sadness possible to detect.

A deep frown furrowed Schala’s brow as she squeezed her eyes shut, shaking her head as she wrenched her arm from the dark warrior’s grasp.  “I hate you,” she whispered, a tear rolling down her cheek.  An exasperated sigh escaped her captor.  He took a few steps away from her, propping a foot on a rock as he overviewed the battle.  “It is fine.  I am used to being hated.  It does not hurt my feelings. All I require is that you listen to me.  Trust me, I’m doing you a favor, and one day you may very well be thanking me.”

“For enslaving me?!” she spat, turning her head to glare at Caius, the very epitome of chaos itself.  Her statement, however, received no response, and it would be difficult to discern whether her statement truly rendered a response at all.  Instead Caius continued to watch the battle, his expression as stony as his heart.

-Locke-

While everyone was busily greeting one another and reminiscing over the past lives that they’d lost, Locke decided to make up for some much-lost time away from civilization by a trip to the tavern.  And there he sat, drinking up delicious fizzy spirits and delighting upon drumsticks aplenty.  Gossip could be heard from every corner of the musty old building, and only two tables away a fight had broken out between two very dirty-looking men.  Personally, Locke favored the bearded one for as little time that he’d gotten to know them.

Of course his disappearance probably went unnoticed.  People didn’t usually notice when he would scamper off, though things might have been slightly different now.  With a woman and her child being thrown into the mix things had certainly become more . . . interesting than usual.  He didn’t know why, or how, but Elsa reminded him a little of Rachel . . . .

Just then the door to the tavern opened, and in came three hardy men, their biceps nearly as large as Locke’s thigh.  Big and strong men sort of made him uneasy, especially when it came to drinking or gambling with them.  Locke had a passion for pick-pocketing, something brought to light with his drinking, and the big men had a very bad tendency of finding out and giving him a bruising he still had yet to forget in all his years.  Resisting the temptation, Locke shifted in his seat, eyeing the bartender as he took another sip from his drink.  Their voices were loud, and it was hard to ignore their latest statement.

“Did you see what was goin’ on out there?”

“Yeah, them Chaos soldiers can’t seem to mind their own business.  And what’s with those light people endangering us like that?”

“That’s what I’d like to know!  Those so-called ‘heroes’ are just going to get us all killed.  Well, I tell ya what I’d like to do to them, if I could so much as get my hands on one of them!”

Yup, that was it; it was time for Locke to go, but not before carefully wrapping his last drumstick with a napkin and pocketing it.  He placed a wad of cash on the table and nodded to the bartender, who looked up in mild surprise.  “You need it more than I, good madam,” he murmured quietly, slipping off his seat and traipsing out of the building, hopefully undetected.  Goodness he sure wasn’t ready to fight again, but at least he would not be doing so on an empty stomach this time.

Elsa decided to show another part of her power: Psychoknesis, which was better than telekinesis. So she lifted one hand and soon, Xathnan was covered in a purple aura, which he couldn't escape. She then proceeded to throw him around like a rag doll.

Edited by KHUndertaleFan25

Xathnan took the beating for a bit. When he could he found an opputunity to stab his spear into the ground to stop being thrown around and enveloped himself in darkness to escape to a nearby roof.  Her pyrokinesis reminded him of the transcendence spell used by keyblade weilders.  "nice trick girl now its  my turn"  xathnan launched himself self in the air and charged up energy in his spear and repeatedly threw his spear down at them and teleported it back to his hand.  He did this 5 times before attempting to crash down on them with jump.

Elsa saw it coming and immediately teleported to another spot. Yes, she learned how to teleport as well thanks to those two brothers she trained with. "Ha! You think I'm going down just like that? Well, you thought wrong!" And one of her Gaster Blasters shot their laser straight at him.

Locked into battle with Xathnan, Lightning dodged the Ultima spells. Unfortunately, she was not quick enough and got hit. With little injury, she charged an Xathnan and swung her Gunblade at him and then jumped back and shot him with a Firaga spell, which blew her back a small distance.

"What the- Hey! I'm fighting him!" Elsa shouted, noticing Lightning. She wanted so badly to throw this girl into the trees so only she could fight him. But she felt something dark tug at her heart. "W-What?" Elsa said, feeling her chest.

Xathnan sent flying by both the laser blast and the firaga spell and went thru a building.  He didnt expect opposition like this.  He stumbled a bit getting up.  He knew he had to use it. The gem he received on his home world.  He went into his pocket and took hold of the summon stone and called the great dragon Bahamut.

Kefka was laughing because the battle was going horrible.  He used his tricky spells to launch elemental spells towards elsa Lightning and Noel

Elsa saw the attack and reversed it back to Kefka using her psychoknesis. "Ha! Take that, clown!" She felt happy about that. So she did her psychoknesis again and covered Kefka in a purple aura and started throwing him around, too.
