Hey there everyone, how's it going?  So then, as you all may very well know, there's been a recent controversial topic regarding the latest Zelda title, and Nintendo seems to have enraged many Zelda fans!  Here I, The Friendly Neighborhood Webhead, give my thoughts on the matter!  Enjoy! :D

So, where do you all Nintendo and Zelda fans stand in this situation?  Do you think Nintendo screwed up, or are they trying to make a smart business move?  Whatever you think, let me know! :D

I think it was a stupid move. The game was supposed to be out this year, but because WII U was a total failure Nintendo wants to wait for the NX to release the game along with the new console.

At least that's what I think.

Whatever they are thinking we can't do anything about it.

Well it makes sense from Nintendo's perspective, the NX is about to come out and there's a new Zelda game coming out soon as well and Zelda games are system sellers so why release both at the same time to sell more NX,if they release it on the Wii U then make an NX port for the launch of the NX,both the game and the new console won't sell as well as it could.

As a fan of course its a bit disappointing but I can wait a few months.

Hmm, I see.  So you are one of the Nintendo fans that thinks this was a bad move on Nintendo's part, eh?  Interesting, most interesting!  Well, we'll see what Nintendo does from here on out, am I right?

I think it's perfectly fine.

Ah, so you're one of the more patient fans, eh?  That's good! ^_^

Well that is true, but the bad thing here is that Nintendo isn't even going to talk about the NX this year, and it comes out on March of next year, before next year's E3, so there would be no prior build up for the system, ya know?  I mean, unless Nintendo decides to hold an event where they talk about the NX, I don't know how they'll promote the system, other than saying the new Zelda will be in it, ya know?  But well, let's see what happens!

But hey, if you're a patient fan, then that's cool too! :)

Of course they'll promote the NX at some point, you can't release a console without promoting it at first.Maybe they decided that E3 wasn't the best time but there's no way we don't have an offical name by the end of this year if the console is to launch in march 2017

Well, that's true!  Then maybe we could get some info on the NX late into the year? :O

It's honestly not bad. Nintendo Directs have been a much larger form of Nintendo information than E3 ever has been. Nintendo isn't the only one doing something like this. Sony withholds a lot of information at E3 and then later has their huge PlayStation Experience event in December. To be honest, the PS4 NEO project probably won't even get an E3 reveal and will wait until PE. Sound a little familiar? That's right, the PS4 had its own unveiling at an event held specifically for it that had nothing to do with E3. Nintendo never said they won't talk about the NX this year, just not at E3. I forgot though, that a lot of people ignore these details when it's not Nintendo, but when it comes to Nintendo following a similar tactic, they get absolute shit for it from everyone.

Oh wow, when you put it like that, things seem a lot different now!  Well, then that means we'll probably get info on the NX via Directs during the rest of the year! I didn't think of that! :O

Ah, well if that's the case, then Nintendo could be looking to definitely do some reveals and explaining of what the NX is capable of, ya know?

A lot of people don't and they go blaming Nintendo for doing something tactical as a wrong-doing. Or they'll shout absurdities such as "Nintendo is doomed." or "Nintendo is as good as dead."

Hmm, you've got a good point there!  I guess we'll just have to keep our eyes peeled for any news on the NX, ya know?  I'm pretty sure that when the time comes, Nintendo will reveal all they need to reveal, ya know?  All I know is that things will be interesting! :)
