Although I didn't understand a lot of what was going on, all of that was cool.  What's also interesting is when the open beta comes out.

Some more TGS coverage has rolled in, this time featuring gameplay the CaC Namekian's Giant Form, the new 6v1 mode, a brand new playable character in Imperfect Cell, and a sneak peak at the full character roster for the game base through the latest demo build (which could still change between now and the game's release mind you.)

So the transformation for humans is the same for both males and females.  The reach of the power-pole looks pretty deadly.

Giant form for Namekians still looks a bit awkward to me, but I digress.

Looks like the other players in the 6 vs 1 mode actually do have to deal with a possessed one, which makes the mode even more exciting.

Too bad I'm gonna miss the beta period. That weekend is my anniversary so I'll be out with my guy but because I'll be with him I don't mind missing it.

Also too bad about the hair. I know that was a big complaint about the first one. I don't see why they can just program a specific SS hairstyle for each base one, I don't think there are that many.

It was only one hairstyle. Plus, we don't know if that's going to be permanent in the final release.

EDIT: (9/19/16)

More new gameplay has been shown at TGS, this time featuring the brand new character Majin Vegeta.

Edited by Firaga Sensei

It's nice to see Majin Vegeta in action, but it looks like he plays just like regular Vegeta.  Not that I expected any differences between them.

There is now an English subbed and dubbed version of the new trailer from TGS:

Also, here are some new screenshots that show off some new things for the game:

(EDIT: 9/22/16)

DBZanto uploaded a view of a scan found by Nostal/Treevax. The scan is untranslated, but seems to be focusing on showing off Nail as a brand new character, the appearance of Meta-Coola, and Bulma and Dende as "sub" characters, which is most likely a code for characters that appear in the hub world in Conton City and who can offer services such as tasks, mentorship, etc.

(EDIT: 9/24/16)

SeeReax breaks down some screenshots of the game detailing online features, specifically ranked online battles:

For those interested with pvp, that information is nice to have.

I like how commercially aimed the TGS trailer is at the beginning.

I wondered how the army of Meta-Coolers would play out, but judging from the screenshots, it looks like how it was in the first game.

It'd be kind of cool to learn a healing move from Dende.

Small but somewhat important update: there's tons of videos out on the beta(s) right now, so if you're curious, go ahead and look them up. I'd link some here, but there's a ton of videos being uploaded by various sources and they all involve basically running down what I presume is at least a small whole portion of the game, including tutorials and cutscenes.

From what I saw there were some problems but overall the game looked great.  Now to wait for the open beta this weekend.

I'm guessing the open beta is PS4 only? I wanted to try it out on my computer since I don't have a PS4 yet, so it'd kind of suck if those plans don't work out.

Unfortunately, yes.

Cabba and Frost were two of my top choices, glad to see that they're confirmed!

Great, Super characters.  Now there's just the big guy that almost everyone wants to be confirmed.

But Broli is unfortunately already in the game.

Magetta isn't though. We need the best DB fighter of all time to join the fight.

EDIT: I meant Botamo but Magetta works too.

Oh yeah. He's got to be a shoo-in too.

So, having played the Open Beta of Xenoverse 2, I can say, that I had a blast, just... Just a good time playing it. Man, it really is an improvement in basically every way over the first game. The 25th is going to be a very good day for me.

I really liked what I heard and saw so far(doesn't contains story spoilers or anything like that, just changes compared to the previous game- in case that any of you want be surprised by them when the game comes out)

One of the favourite things I heard is that ultimate finish RNG is gone and that the RNG for drops is much more better, which is nice. Repeating a mission like 10 times just to receive one skill was a pain in XV1, especially if it was a long mission.

Also it seems that there is no RNG on mentors appearance as well- they stay in the same place.

I can agree to that.  Everything just felt so great.  It's going to be brutal waiting for next Tuesday.

That was one of the many things that I loved in Dragon Ball games like the Budokai series.  I remember spending hours trying to perform a certain move or learn how a certain character fights.  I was kind of disappointed that Xenoverse 1 didn't really have a place where someone could practice outside of the story or PQs with the most amount of time.  It makes me happy that's coming back in 2.
