Revealed 2 new consoles

Backwards compatability for new consoles

Some pretty good exclusives e.g State of Decay 2

FFXV gameplay

 

Cons

Cringey Sea of Thieves commentary

Awful minecraft section

Awful Forza Section, they show Forza off every damn year I swear.

Hardly anything to blow people's minds. There was no big reveal that made people go crazy.

Bad VR sections

 

 

7/10, they came in strong overall but lacked anything mind blowing.

 

Ubisoft

Pros

South Park gameplay+hillarious trailers+pre order bonus is good

Watch Dogs 2 gameplay

For Honor looked good

Ghost recon wildlands looks fun

Aisha Taylor sucks as a host

Awful VR games like the eagle one

Boring sections about the AC movie

Grow Up

Boring indie games like blood dragon

More Division DLC.......

I don't care for their constant chatting, I want to see GAMES.

They actually let the games speak for themselves unlike the Ubisoft and Microsoft which were filled which boring chatter about "How amazing" their games will be.

The VR games looked GOOD, they didn't want to make me stop watching the conference.

Sony stole the show basically, Sony won again, by a mile. I didn't see Bethesda and EA but judging from the trailers they showed off

Bethesda- 5/10

EA- 6/10 because of Battlefield 1 and Mass Effect Andromeda. Mainly Mass Effect.

 

Thank God for Sony. E3 would have been bad without them.

Anyway, looks Sony did steal the show. especially with the revelation of the Crash Bandicoot remaster. I want to know what the rest are up to.

Sony always wins, it's not hard for them, it really does look like the other companies don't want to put a lot of effort on their presentations, like just showing actual gameplay and good trailers isn't THAT hard, and Sony could do a lot better, but they don't even have to put that much effort to take E3.

 

I disagree at some subjective points with your review, but yeah, the objective points you stand are true, and the way you marked the conferences looks accurate.

My only complaint about Sony's press conference is that it was too short. It was SO awesome, but so short :c

C'mon, calling indie Games stupid is ironically stupid. If it weren't for Indie Titles, we wouldn't be getting good stuff like Cuphead, Shovel Knight and Freedom Planet.

yea Sony definitely surprised me and got me hyped way more than the other conferences.

Let me place your opinion into context. A stranger who looks at the Kingdom Hearts series says that he will never play it because it features Disney characters. "Never have, never will!" as you say. Now, with your logic, that's entirely acceptable, but upon closer elaboration, that's judging before trying which is poor evaluation.

Triple AAA titles can only go so far because of the corporal stigma's attached to them, however, Indie titles provide the means of not only hearkening back to gaming roots, but, they offer alternate gaming conventions altogether. I care because you're going to miss a good gaming franchise because of your bias for Indies. Plus, basing an E3 because of indies is not a con. What you've highlighted in red is another way of saying why you hate Indies.
