In the world known as Orbis, an extended version of our Earth (3x it's size) the civilizations of Orbis have been separated into different sections because of culture and societies. There are Technos, those who wish to create technology. Anthros, those who want to connect with Earth itself. The Medivals, those who focus more on the Dark Ages. And The Citys, which treat each culture equally and experiment by combining them in unique ways.

But soon...A great evil is about to arise...The same evil that came in the past...And I assume you all want to hear the tale that will be told...

The story of how an unlikely team...Allies...Friends...Came together and saved the world while facing hardships, discoveries, and regrets...

This is the story...The Legend...The myth of how...In the City of Aquila...Where classmates joined together to explore the world never tamed....

Notes:

~ The Technos use technology to its fullest, creating new ways to fight, transport, communicate, and so much more. They even where special wrist bands that allow them to summon and switch between different weapons. They even have usage of a small ball that can act as a flashbomb, a time bomb that can blind anyone or anything for a short matter of time.

~ The Medivals focus more on Medieval times, as said in the name. They take the culture of knights, kings, queens, witches, wizards, and castles quite seriously. Skilled with magic, sword-arts, archery, and weaponry, this clan is perfect for those who wish to use strategy and tactical skills.

~ The Anthros are mostly made up of half human-half animal races, with some having the ears of the animal they represent and all having the tail of the animal they represent. They are very skilled archers and have the ability to communicate with different kinds of creatures. Most of them are very agile and quick. They are more tribal than the other clans.

~You can choose ANY race that has appeared in the FF series...Except for the Enemy and Antagonist races...That's a big no-no.

~ And I shall try my best NOT to sign up in this RP. I just want to see how it goes with you guys being the main characters.

Aaaand that's all! Happy Signing Up guys!

Name: Millicent Arcane

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Race: Human

Appearance: Millicent has long black hair reaching down to her waist. She typically wears the traditional uniform of a Medieval white mage: a long white robe with red trimming along the ends, a white hood with similar trimming (which is often kept down due to the length of her hair), black leggings, and red boots.

Job Class (Optional): White Mage

Clan: Medieval

Weapon: Wooden Staff

Personality: Millicent is a very friendly woman, being very open with all of her companions and wanting to resolve conflicts as soon as possible. She tries to act as a mediator within groups, often seeming a bit too much like the motherly type given her fairly young age. She smiles often, but very rarely laughs. Despite her generally cheery appearance, she is a bit pessimistic, often worrying a lot about those around her. She does her best to avoid letting her comrades know this as she is concerned that this might affect the overall group morale.

Bio: Millicent was raised in a small village that gained much of its revenue through sending its own men and women as mercenaries to fight in conflicts with other nations and dangerous monsters. At the young age of 13, she was sent to the battlefield as a field medic. She was talented in the healing arts from a young age, meaning that she didn't need much training in order to gain a military position. Unfortunately, being forced into warfare at this age had its mental tolls on her. She witnessed deaths, acts of violence, and more horrifying effects of conflict. As she grew older, she began to gain a more pessimistic view of life: conflict was all that she had experienced, and she had to live in the constant fear that someone close to her could die at any moment. However, she also tried her best to keep the people around her at least a little cheerful. She felt as though the people she fought alongside were like family to her, and she hated to see them upset. This also made it much more painful when they died, sometimes while she did her best to heal them.

On one mission, she found herself and her teammates facing a particularly dangerous monster. One by one, her comrades were wiped out. The beast then turned against her. Millicent closed her eyes and turned her head down, prepared for death… However, she heard it let out a horrifying scream. Millicent opened her eyes and looked up to see a ninja shrouded in black standing in front of her, katana drawn as though he had just attacked. The beast was now dead, having been slain by the ninja. This began a partnership between the ninja and Millicent: the two lived together, and Millicent would help the ninja on his missions in whatever way she could. It was the only way she could repay his kindness. This partnership led to the two investigating the town of Aquilla, with Millicent posing as a combat student in order to keep an eye on what was going on...

Spells: Cure, Esuna, Protect, Shell

Powers: None aside from her magical capabilities

Name: Eclipse

Gender: Unknown; referred to as a male

Age: Unknown

Race: Human

Appearance: Eclipse is only ever seen wearing the same uniform: a loose black uniform that covers him from his neck to his feet and a plain black mask that makes it impossible to see his face.

Job Class (Optional): Ninja

Clan: Medieval

Weapon: A katana, along with some shuriken and kunai.

Personality: Eclipse is often silent and distant. He does his best to ensure that no one can learn about his identity or what happened in his past. He can tend to disappear and appear at any time, adding to his mysterious presence. Despite this, it is clear that he has a strong sense of justice. He puts the lives of others before his own, always willing to make a risky move when the lives of others are in danger.

Bio: Eclipse has a history, but his silent nature means that none know what it is. His training and rise as a ninja are unknown to almost everyone, but he became a bit of a famous hero in the areas he visited. Known to arrive and save those in danger, many came to wonder who this mysterious man was. Stories of his feats have only been around for a year, causing many to conclude that these acts are all recent. The name Eclipse caught on due to his tendency to strike at night; his very first noted appearance was on the night of an eclipse.

One of his missions involved rescuing a young woman from a powerful beast. He was unable to save her teammates, but in the end, the healer survived thanks to his timing. He planned on leaving, but the woman asked to accompany him as a form of payment for his deeds. He usually wouldn’t have accepted the offer, but seeing that she was alone, he simply nodded and allowed her to follow him back to his home. Since then, the two had become partners, working together to investigate suspicious leads they’d heard or to keep an eye on various towns and villages.. Eclipse’s partner, Millicent Arcane, is one of the few people to know of his true identity and past.

Spells: Fire, Poison.

Powers: Eclipse can throw various items as weapons, and is very skilled in stealth.

Name: KelonGender: MaleAge: 22Race: HumanAppearance: A young tanned-skinned man with long black hair, and an eyepatch over his right eye, and wears a shredded headband around his head. He wears a black-colored long-sleeved shirt, with a long brown-colored scarf hanging around his neck, the shirt having gold-colored lines, and wearing long black-colored pants with grey-colored lines going down them, and wears jet-black-colored boots.Job Class (Optional):  KnightClan: He wasn't born in a clan, but is an ally to the OrbisWeapon (If any): Shadowsplicer: A medium sized jet-black-colored sword that looks ancient in design, with small cracks present on the blade, which is is shaped like a samurai's sword, but a little serrated, and with gold-colored lines on it, with purple and green-gold-colored Crystals on them, The blade also has a purple-colored Aura around it. Beneath the handle has a mysterious symbol being shaped as a Crystal with lines of Darkness wrapping around it. This sword was passed down Kelon's family through generations, and is associated with legends of yore.Personality: Smart, Calm, Solemn, Kind, Collective, Benevolent, Caring, and FirmBio: Kelon is a young man who traveled across Orbis, and has been doing so for 10 years, searching for something, his intentions are unknown, but he helps those in need. He has a mysterious power to control both Light and Darkness, a power he sees as a curse to his life, as it brought tragedy to him years ago. His sword, the Darksplicer, is a sword passed down through his family across the ages, before ending up in his hands, a blade told in the legends of yore, being forged to to combat great evil, and he has recently realized that something was wrong, and decided find out what is going on.Spells (If any): Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and CurePowers: Can utilize Light and Darkness to perform powerful techniques and to travel to places, and to use as armor, but rarely uses it.

Extra: Sometimes keeps important secrets to himself.

I hope this is good enough, I hope it's not overpowered.

All are accepted!! I'm excited about this cast!

But it feels like something's missing...And I might know what it is.

OH! Another thing!

If there was one Final Fantasy summon you would want, who would it be?

Job Class: Black Mage

Clan: Technos

Weapon:  A wooden staff that she uses to cast her spells. It has 3 holes near the end of the staff which are for special purposes. Flash Bombs.

She can mix spells to create numerous and powerful arts unimaginable.

Spells: Fire, Thunder, Blizzard, and Areo.

Extra: Solisa has a interest in gambling and will let her guard down if she sees something extremely cute.

Name: Anton Runelash
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Race: Human
Appearance: Slightly thin, blue eyes, and black, short hair. Wears blue robe, and a blue hat that hides most of his hair.
Job Class: Blue Mage
Clan: Medivals
Weapon: Mainly rods and staves. Can also use one-handed swords, knives, and daggers.
Personality: Calm, selfless, caring and trusting, but confident in his skills, preferring to work alone when possible. Sometimes playful.
Bio: Anton was raised in a castle. Coming from a loyal family served the small kingdom's army, some were black and white mages, others were warriors, including knights and dragoons. Anton wanted to be a mage, but he had trouble with learning white and black magic, so he joined to the army as a warrior even though he wasn't suited as one. In the army, he befriended the prince.

The kingdom had 2 main issues, which it needed the army for: The first was that other kingdoms wishes to conquer it. The second was that the town where most of the kingdom's residents are located, often suffered from monsters attack, the rate of the attacks increased alongside the years. Once, the prince came to the town, accompanied by Anton and a small part of the army, in order to investigate the situation , asking the residents for details. During the investigation, another attack happened. They fought the monsters, but when one of the monsters cast Flame Thrower on the prince, Anton took the attack instead, learning Flame Thrower and discovering his talent as a blue mage.  Using the new learned spell, Anton managed to defeat the monsters. After that he stopped being warrior, and became a blue mage. His talent as a blue mage was considered special by his kingdom, although blue mages might have been common in other parts of Orbis. After the kingdom's condition improved, Anton, wishing to improve his as a blue mage and learn new spells, travelled around Orbis, eventually finding the city Aquila.

Spells: Goblin Punch, Aero, Flame Thrower.

Powers: As a blue mage, Anton can learn some of his enemies' spells(includes monsters, fellow blue mages, and magical beings). This doesn't include regular spells such as cure or fire that belong to the black and white class. However, that ability also comes with a risk- in order to learn it, the spell must be used at him without missing, thus receiving damage that can be fatal, especially with the stronger spells. Alongside the other blue magic, he wishes to learn especially Aerora and Aeroga.

So would you guys be okay with the inclusion of Trance or something similar like Limit Break?

And what kind of places would you guys like to see?

Trance/Limit Break would be fine with me.

Also, on the subject of summons, I'm not entirely sure at the moment. I'll need some time to decide on those.

And what kind of places would you guys like to see?

I'd say our characters should have one or the other (they either go into a Trance state or they have a Limit Break attack)I'd like to see the adventure take us to the center of each clan and really get down and dirty with each culture.

I just wanna say thank you guys so much for your support and love for Final Fantasy. It really means a lot to me! :)

So...Here's a question that popped into my head. What was your first Final Fantasy game, what did you like about it, and would there be features (weather it'd be story events, enemies, items, style, ect.) that you would want in this RP and future titles?

My first Final Fantasy was Lightning Returns, even though I got tired of it, it had the countdown mechanic if you don't beat it in thirteen days, it's game over, so, there's something that you could take into account. The first tow actual FF games that got me into the series were Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV, with the former having an element of War for eternity or something like that, and with Final Fantasy XV being Dark, having most of the world conquered by the Nifilheim nation, the Summons being guardians of the world, and the power of the Crystal.

My first game was Final Fantasy VII. I enjoyed how the story took us through each character's backstory, without forcing it on players. You wander into a town and find out that one of your party members lived there. I also enjoyed the fact that the Turks and Shinra were always at the locations you visited, but sometimes would not fight you just because they had other things to do.My favorite, though, is Final Fantasy XII. Ivalice was just such a realized world. The weather and time changed as you wandered the world. As much as your heroes wandered and fought, it never seemed like they were any more than just hunters/mercs in the world they were in. Yes, they were all part of the story, but the world didn't see their struggles, and that was great. It was also awesome to have the characters have to fight their summons to earn them, as well as having to earn their skills and equipment stuff.

Aw, no problem! :)

My first FF was actually the very first one for the NES.  I played it with my dad when I was little, and we both hated it; which is surprising cause we both love rpgs, even when I was little.  The main reason we didn't like it was because we couldn't beat the final dungeon.  I got the GBA version years later and beat it, and its okay, but no where near my favorite games.

However, years later when I was in middle school, I decided to try this series again and got FFVI for the GBA.  And I absolutely love this game!  This is the one that got me to play some of the others (FFII-V and IX), and I think VI is still my favorite, but I also like IV, V, and IX a lot.

Hm, I guess what I like about the games the most are the characters.  Then, the story, and finally the world.  Unfortunately, its hard for me to explain why I like these, so I can't help.  I'm sorry :

 • Author

So...I'mma be honest with you guys...If you didn't know already...

I have never played a Final Fantasy game...xD

Although I guess this counts...If I remember correctly, Kingdom Hearts was my very first RPG game EVER. Like, literally ever. I just loved it as a kid. I was not familiar with Cloud or Leon or any of those special appearances of Final Fantasy characters. However, the series has recently caught my attention. I just never knew there was so much to this series.

The one game that caught my attention was FF 9. Sure, it's underrated, but it's just got me so hooked, I'm watching a whole walkthrough on it. My current Anime. XXD Hopefully, I'll get the chance to play someday.

My first Final Fantasy was... well, the first one, though it was the Wii Virtual Console port (Never had a NES growing up and I was late to the series, that was the best option at the time xD). I know it's simple and seems outdated at this point, but I'm a sucker for retro RPGs, so I still really like it today. It's got some frustrating mechanics, but I liked that it felt like my own adventure since I made all the characters on my team.

And while this doesn't really go with the question, my favorite is definitely VI. I love all three of the SNES games (although I still need to finish V), but VI is the one that pulled me in the most. Every character felt unique in terms of their background and combat style, I love the Magicite system, and the story is incredible. I haven't played it in a while since I don't want to play through it again until I can get the original SNES cartridge (I'm getting into game collecting and the SNES is what I plan on making my main focus, so FFVI is definitely one of my main targets), but it's still easily my favorite of the series.

I'm not all that interested in Final Fantasy. The only time I saw it was in Kingdom Hearts. They were cool characters, but they didn't interest me enough to even look at Final Fantasy. And with how everyone talks about it and the hype it got just made me inch away from even wanting to see it...

That's kind of hypocritical coming from a fan of Undertale.

That's kind of hypocritical coming from a fan of Undertale.

What's wrong with being a fan of Undertale?

My first final fantasy game is Final Fantasy Dissidia. :)
