Just as the topic states. What are your personal thoughts on Xion if she were to be saved? Because it's very possible.

I see a lot of discussion on Xion's overal impact on the story and how her return may or may not invalidate it. I want to clear this up. 

Xion's purpose in life serverved to lead Roxas to questioning his origins, which ultimatley lead to him seeking out Sora, which was neccessarry for Sora to wake and regain the power Roxas took with him, as well as reuniting him with Ven's heart. Her death served to awaken that heart, allowing Roxas and later Sora to weild Ven's Keyblade. While it may have been possible for anyone to lead Roxas away from the Organization, there are very few who could inflict enough emotional trauma on him to shake him so much so as to affect Ven's heartQuite simply, Xion's ultimate purpose was to set the stage for Ven's return. Had she not died, there's no telling how long Ven's heart would have remained inactive, and therefore unable toreturn to it's proper vessel. However, now that that purpose has been served, there's nothing to be lost from her return. Ven's heart isn't goign to go back to sleep if Xion comes back.

Riku and DiZ could make him left the organization by questioning his existence and by growing his distrust towards the organization. 

 

Xion may influenced Roxas behavior but if we look it that way, that's it. It feels unfinished. If that was the whole point of her existence, than it would have been better to not introduce her.

Yeah but wouldn't it be hard for Riku to infiltrate the organization especially when they spotted him and warned the whole organization about an impostor. I mean he could do it while Roxas was on a mission but maybe he wouldn't be convinced or something, idk.

I think that Xion is in the same boat as the other characters who are lost, she's not any different. They all played roles in the story (Important or not) and they all gave up their existences/regular lives for a greater purpose. I don't see why it's fanservice when she's in the same situation as the other characters, you can't just conclude her story just because she did what she needed to do, if you have this ultimate sacrifice rule then it should apply to other characters aswell. If you think Xion fading away would be cheapened and think she shouldn't return that means Roxas' merge with Sora would be cheapened and he shouldn't return. I've said this so many times on this thread but here I go repeating it again. Her and ALL the other characters sacrifices are not to be made in vain, they shall be redeemed as symbolically shown in Blank Points.

I think you misunderstand. I'm saying that there's no reason she shoudn't return because her perpose was served. As in, Since she did what she was meant to do, bringing her back won't undo it. Nothing that remains to be done relies on her staying gone.

She deserves to have her own heart. Especially after she was used like that.

She'll probably return, considering it's been hinted at in BBS, Coded and DDD (not just for her, but also for other characters). The way she'll return will probably have something to do with the Key to Return Hearts. As for what she can do, she can always aid the Guardians of Light in battle against Heartless, Nobodies, etc.

 

I'd really want to see her again, same goes for the others, and I think it would make the final battle all the more epic. Y'know, everyone battling it for everything and all that. Call it fan service (which I don't consider a bad thing) all you want, I don't care. Even if she does return, which she probably will, I don't really think it would change my thoughts on her 'death' in 358/2 Days. I'd still feel sad watching that scene, just like the ending of KH1; Riku returned in later games, but that doesn't make his sacrifice any less saddening in my eyes.
