There are Technos, those who wish to create technology. Anthros, those who want to connect with Earth itself. The Medivals, those who focus more on the Dark Ages. And The Citys, which treat each culture equally and experiment by combining them in unique ways. But soon...A great evil is about to arise...The same evil that came in the past...And I assume you all want to hear the tale that will be told...The story of how an unlikely team...Allies...Friends...Came together and saved the world while facing hardships, discoveries, and regrets...This is the story...The Legend...The myth of how...In the City of Aquila...Where classmates joined together to explore the world never tamed....

A building that was the size of a Skyscraper stood alongside buildings of unthinkable height. People came and went on their normal lives, playing on their phones, trying to get to work on time, and of course, kids playing around on the sidewalk.

With everything that was happening outside, it was a very important day for some at the Aquilia Combat School. (The building that was as tall as a skyscraper)

In one room, many students, roughly 30-35 students, talked and roamed around Room 408, a class that specializes in offensive and defensive skills. One student wore a Red Mage outfit with a black feather instead of the traditional white feather. Her body was laid back in her desk, with her feet crossed and resting on top of her desk. Her hands were behind her head and her hat covered her eyes. Sure, the class was bit loud, but it didn't bother her. She was used to it.

"Today's the big day!" A female student said.

"I'm a bit nervous...I-I don't know if I'll do well..." A male student said.

"Hey, cheer up! We're all doing this together you know. We'll be by your side and help you out." A male student said with a higher-pitched voice.

"Hah! Don't make me laugh." Another female student suddenly said. She looked to be about 17, given her appearance and height. Her hair was long and blonde and her clothes were more on a rebel styled attire. A smirk was on her face as she overheard the recent conversation. She leaned on the side of the wall with her arms crossed and her eyes closed. "You low-lives won't even remember how to punch once you get there. Unlike me, you don't stand a chance." She said with a very confident, yet rude tone.

"Says the garbage bagged girl." The Red Mage said. The classroom giggled a bit at her comment. The Rebel clothed girl growled at the Red Mage and opened her mean eyes. "Shut it, Solisa. Once I'm through with you, you'll be "Sol-Loser"." The Rebel responded.

"Wow...." The Red Mage replied. "That pun was as outdated as your clothing. Not-To-Be-Sold." The class bursts into laughter. The Red Mage wasn't afraid of this cocky-bully. "Why you little...!" The Rebel then walked to the Red Mage's desk and slammed her hands on the Red Mage's desk. "Listen, you peeping pipsqueak. I'm trying not to get in trouble today. So shut up or else I'll pound you before the exam even starts! Got it!?"

"....That's it? You'll pound me? Sheesh, for trying to be a good student I'm glad you ain't an angel Sara."

"SHUT UP!!" Sara yelled out with rage. "Don't make me come back, you Mage maggot." With that, she took a deep breath and walked back to her spot, leaning against the wall and crossed her arms.

Meanwhile, during the time Laz got caught, a woman wearing a blue shirt and black while holding a teaching stick (idk what it's called tbh. xD) was walking to the building, sighing. Wonderful. The one day I'm late is the most important day for all students and staff of the Aquilia School. Oh well. At least I have Johnny backing me up. The woman's late walk was haulted when she saw a blue Anthros, rat-like, young girl being pulled towards the school by a guard. This day just can't get any better...

The woman then made her mouth smile and walked towards the guard. "Good morning sir." She greeted.

"Oh! Good morning Ms. Genka." The Guard greeted back. "I was just taking this one here back to school, as usual." The guard looked at Lazuli. "She's a tricky one."

Ms. Genka shook her head in disappointment. Lazuli. Hardly ever at school. "Well, welcome back Lazuli. I hope your "Hooky" vacation went well, but now it's time for you to catch up." Ms. Genka said in a somewhat sarcastic, but a little sweet tone. "I'll take care of it from here kind sir. I'll take her off your hands."
"As you wish." The guard handed Ms. Genka the Anthros's right wrist quickly, bowed down, and turned the other direction. "Have a good day, Ms. Genka!"
"Same to you!" Ms. Genka said back. Her smile disappeared once she looked down at Lazuli, then smirked. "Don't think about escaping this time. I may have let you slide in the past, but I never forget the faces or antics of my students." She said as she turned around walked towards the school while dragging Lazuli. "Now as your punishment, I shall inform you on what you have missed in your absence and don't doze off or else I'll yell the information in your eardrums to make you pay attention."

As they went inside, Lazuli's "punishment" began...

"Let's see. You've missed the English test, Algebra quiz, the Magic experiment, field trip project at Technolia, The Combat Performance Assessment..."

The list went on and on and on until finally...

"....5 Final Writing Exams and have 31 absences." Ms. Genka smirked again. "However...Since I want you to pass, I'll allow you to take the Final Combat Exam. Succeed in passing and I shall excuse your current record. However..." Ms. Genka suddenly stopped. "If you decide to skip out...."
The teacher's head turned around to face Laz with a very devilish, horrifying face with a smirk to make someone think it was The Devil's smile. Her voice tone suddenly went dark and her volume went to a whisper.

"I'll hunt you down and make you stay in this school for a whole year. And there will be not a single drop of mercy from me. Trust me...I. Will. Have. My. Revenge...."

(^-^) "So don't screw this up, okay?" She suddenly said cheerfully with a cheerful expression on her face.

Oh great, its Ms. Genka, Laz thought and scowled; the pretty teacher was smarter than the others, and was harder to fool.  But I can still do it.

The teacher and guard exchanged a few words before he handed Laz over and left.  "Well, welcome back Lazuli. I hope your "Hooky" vacation went well, but now it's time for you to catch up." Genka said sarcastically.  Laz was about to give her a smartass retort when the teacher continued, "Don't think about escaping this time. I may have let you slide in the past, but I never forget the faces or antics of my students."

The rat-like Anthros just rolled her eye at that as Ms. Genka lead her to her office.  "Now as your punishment, I shall inform you on what you have missed in your absence and don't doze off or else I'll yell the information in your eardrums to make you pay attention," the teacher began and started listing off all of what the girl missed.

Laz pretended to listen as she daydreamed.  I heard that some people found a sunken tower in the ocean in the west.  Man, I bet there's some wicked stuff in there!  But I heard too that some archaeo-something-or-others found some ruins up north.  That sounds cool too.  Hm... it'd take five days to walk up there, and about two weeks to get to the ocean by foot.  But the ocean one sounds so much cooler...

"....5 Final Writing Exams and have 31 absences," Ms. Genka concluded, and smirked.  Laz heard the end of it and mentally smirked.  Only 31?  I missed way more than that, she thought proudly, thrilled that she got away with so much.

"However...," the teacher continued, "Since I want you to pass, I'll allow you to take the Final Combat Exam. Succeed in passing and I shall excuse your current record. However... If you decide to skip out...."  She stopped and gave Lazuli a very cruel, demonic smile that actually made her shudder, almost.  "I'll hunt you down and make you stay in this school for a whole year. And there will be not a single drop of mercy from me. Trust me...I. Will. Have. My. Revenge...." she whispered in her rat-like ear, and it twitched at the foreboding tone.  Then, in a flash, Genka looked very cheerful and said sweetly, "So don't screw this up, okay?"

The blue-haired Anthros blinked dumbly.  Is this woman bi-polar or somethin'? she thought, forgetting most of what said woman had just told her.  But she did remember one thing.  Wait, did she say 'Final Combat Exam?'  As in I can fight and not get in trouble.  Ooh, that sounds fun~

"Alright Ms. Genka, you got a deal!" Laz beamed with a Cheshire grin.

Anton did not react much to Sara's childish and rude response-the only thing he wanted that she would stop yelling at everyone in the classroom, so he was actually rather happy that she remained silent for a while.

He noticed that, shortly after Sara's rude response, she was hit by a laser beam. Anton noticed the source of the attack and changed his attention to it, a strange creature , which was near one of the students in the class, Elsa. Shortly after the beam hit Sara, Elsa made the creature disappear. Anton concluded, as a result of Elsa unsummoning the creature, that Elsa was a summoner. So there are summoners here too...

Anton stopped staring at Elsa when he heard Johnny calling his name, raising his right hand. "I am here"

Ms. Genka grinned at Lazuli's expression. Even though the teacher knew the Antrhos girl wasn't listening half of the time, it didn't matter now. Not to her at least. "Alright then. Now let's go see how my assistant is handling the classroom." She said before continuing to walk to the classroom holding Laz's hand.

For the record, Genka trusted Johnny. Sure, for his age he is young, but very mature like an adult. It almost seemed like yesterday when he first came here to the school in a certainly unexpected way. A person from another world was just about unbelievable. But despite that story, Ms. Genka actually believed him and assigned him as her assistant as felt that she needed help with this year's class, especially with the destructive, bitter rivalry of Solisa and Sara. Ms. Genka just sighed in her thoughts thinking about those two. She'll never forget the first time they fought. Oh well...They were going to rebuild that giant school statue anyway...

Coming badk to reality, she saw that she and Laz were standing in front of the door that led to Room 408. She took a quick look at Lazuli, then back to the door. "Hope you're ready." Ms. Genka said out-loud before opening the door.

"Good morning class."

"Good morning Ms. Genka!" The class responded.

"Now before I complete the roll-call for my assistant, since I was running late at the time, I'd like to bring in a returning student..." Ms. Genka smirked as she looked down at Laz.

"Hey, whaddya know? Even Hooky-Girl came to play. Now this should be fun. " Solisa commented as she saw the returning Anthros girl. She snickered. Sara made a "Hmph" sound as she saw who it was as well. Pipsqeak. Just fine and dandy.

"Now Lazuli, your seat will be right here." Ms. Genka pointed to the chair behind her, which was right next to her desk. "Johnny, how far have you gotten in roll-call?" She asked her assistant.

Elsa looked up from her textbook to see the student and the teacher that had come in. That must be Ms. Genka. And who's the girl? I've never seen her before..., she thought. When Solisa called the student Hooky-Girl, Elsa giggled at the name, even though name-calling was immature to her. She heard Sara make a hmph sound and wanted to get back at her again, but decided against it since she had already gotten what she deserved. Elsa decided to leave the textbook down and waited patiently for her name to be called.

Kelon glanced at Ms. Genka, and mentally sighed in his head. This really was going to be a long day. He continued looking in his textbook, trying to keep his mind off his thoughts. So far, there were no major interruptions form anyone, so he was thankful so that he could keep his act up. "Oh man, I think this is going to be a tough one." Thought Kelon, mentally thinking to himself in his head.

Aaron watched as the real teacher of the class, a familiar face throughout these exams, had strode in with a commandeering sass. He couldn't lie — she was attractive as hell. Most of the boys during the school year probably drooled over her. Aaron's teacher at home was an old coot, one of his great aunts twice removed - foaming at the mouth every time she spoke. What's worse, he had to deal with her year after year and it got worse every time. Anyway, it was good to get some relief from that, if there was any benefit. She had a cooing, yet commanding voice like a mother whose resolve was firm but sweet. Aaron might've shouted a bit too loud with a "Good Morning, Ms. Genka".... but at least he wasn't so ashamed.

Ms. Genka was his first friend.

Ms. Genka walked in with another student one he was almost sure he hadn't seen before now. Who was she? And why show up on the last day of the exam?

was she.... a GENIUS? So smart she didn't even need to show up to school to take these tests? Lucky her.

Ms. Genka lead Laz to the classroom, with the girl grinning the whole way there.  Man, I haven't fought in a long time!  There aren't many monsters outside, despite what the gov' says; its all just fear mongering to keep everyone under control.  But now I can finally let out some steam and test out my skills without any consequences!

"Hope you're ready," Ms. Genka said, having arrived at their destination and opened a door.  When they entered, the Anthros noticed that the room was jam packed with students, and they were all staring at them.  Geez, its like they've never seen an Anthros before, Laz thought and her smile diminished.  But they snapped out of it when the teacher greeted, "Good morning class."

"Good morning Ms. Genka!" the students chorused, and made the bluenette's ears flatten along her skull.  Good grief, they all sound like robots, Laz thought disgustingly, but she saw that half the students were Technos, so that very well could have been a possibility.  But, she noticed that one student was extra loud and exuberant in his greeting; a boy near her age with cobalt hair that sat in the back.  He's got a crush on the she-devil, the poor fool, she thought and felt some pity towards him; he was kinda cute after all.  But then she saw his eyes and realized that they were robotic.  Ugh nevermind; he's Technos, and they're so boring.

Laz was glancing around at the other students, and knew right away that she didn't recognize any of them, when Genka interrupted her gazing.  "Now before I complete the roll-call for my assistant, since I was running late at the time, I'd like to bring in a returning student..." she said and smirked down at the Anthros.  What a-

"Hey, whaddya know? Even Hooky-Girl came to play. Now this should be fun," a girl wearing a red mage outfit, but with a black and purple color sceme sneered out and caused some of the other students to snicker.  Ooh, how original, I'm so upset that I'm gonna cry, Laz thought sacastically and mentally rolled her eye.  Now she remembered why she hated this place; not only were classes boring as hell, but they were all filled with arrogant knights and haughty mages.

Heh, I can't wait to take these pompous fools down a peg or three! the blunette thought, her previous giddy-nes returning, Someone needs to teach them some humility, and I'll glady be the one to do it!  She also heard a blonde, wannabe punk girl scoff and look away.  Ooh, how edgy... her thought again being sarcastic.

"Now Lazuli, your seat will be right here," Ms. Genka said and pointed to a chair behind her, and Laz just shrugged and complied.  She heard the female teacher say something to a rather serious looking male teacher.  Geez, what crawled up his ass and died?

Elsa saw that the girl was looking at everyone rather rudely in her point of view and thought, Who does she think she is, the Queen of Sheba? When i get my chance, she's going to get what she deserves... But she decided to not look at the girl again and went back to reading her textbook, though she was still waiting for her name to be called.

"Psst!" Solisa made a sound to get Laz's attention. She looked both ways, then threw a paper airplane towards Laz. It had a note inside it. It said:

Hey. Name's Solisa. Pretty flashy to show up on the last day of school. But I ain't gonna lie. That was pretty dope. Makes me want to try it sometime. BTW, don't worry about the dumb-blonde. She's just all talk. And a Sissy-Face.

Solisa pointed at Sara and winked. Despite her arrogant ways of speaking and responding, she liked talking to other people, especially if she didn't know them.

Laz heard a 'psst' directed at her, and saw that it came from the red-black mage girl from earlier.  Great, what does she want now?

The mage looked around seeing if the coast was clear, and when it was, she threw a paper airplane at the Anthros.  She caught it and opened it up and read the message.  When she finished, Laz held back a chuckle and gave a tiny smirk to this Solisa.  Hm, maybe I was wrong about her, but I'll have to wait and see.

Grace was shocked when a woman named Ms. Genka is the the real teacher. (oops.... I guess I was wrong about him...) she looks at her and said. "Good morning, Ms. Genka." She smiled warmly at her.

While Millicent waited for her name to be called, she glanced around the room, observing the usual commotion among her fellow students. Despite the presence of the teacher's assistant in the room, it seemed like the students were still being very active and sociable, just in a quieter manner. The antics between Solisa and Sara continued, with another creature seeming to join in... Millicent noticed that it seemed to come from Elsa. A couple students also seemed to get a bit flustered by the sights of their attractive classmates. Millicent hadn't expected the calm classroom setting to breed romantic interest like this. After a few moments, Ms. Genka walked in with a student that had been skipping class. Millicent didn't pay too much attention to Laz, only mentally noting that it had been a while since she had last showed up to class. Millicent joined the other students in greeting Ms. Genka, keeping her tone as plain as possible. She did notice one of the boys give a greeting that was a little more enthusiastic than the others... More classroom crushes, though this one seemed to be on the teacher. Millicent stifled a giggle and moved her hand to cover the slight smile that spread across her face. I suppose that must be a luxury of the more laid-back lifestyle the other students seem to have... I wonder if Eclipse has ever had such feelings before? She decided that she'd ask her partner about that the next time they met up. She'd have to try her best to hold that amusing thought through class for now. Her gaze focused back towards the front of the classroom as she waited for the test to begin.

Ms.Genka took a glance at the roll call sheet, seeing that it was barely complete. The teacher of beauty shook her head at the progress. She picked up the board that had the sheet clipped on it and took out a pen. "Now since we're in a rush, I must get this out of the way." She said.

"Aaron is here, Elsa is here, Laz is here, about time." As she said the names, she put check marks by the names on the sheet to indicate that the student was here.

"Millicent is here, Grace is here, Kelon is here, Boba is here, Shelsy is here, Jojo is here, Ethan's here, Saskue's here."

The teacher quickly said every student's name with ease knowing who was and wasn't here.

"And finally, Sara is here."

A cough could be heard quickly after that name. "A.K.A. Sissy-Face." The class made small giggles at then comment.

Crack! The sound of a whip hitting the surface could be heard. Ms. Genka had slammed her teaching stick on her desk to silence the behavior. "Solisa. I will not have any tolerance on your behavior today, so stop this behavior now. Understand?" The teacher said. No...She demanded. Solisa gulped and nodded at her instructor. Of all the people in this school, she was most afraid of Ms. Genka when she was serious. She had unfortunately got on her bad side once...She'll never forget that day...

Never ever.... "Y-Yes Ms. Genka. S-Sorry Ms. Genka." Sara snickered at Solisa's cowardly reaction. "Teacher's pe-"

Crack! A teaching stick was slammed on Sara's desk, which made her jump and had her heart pumping. Ms. Genka was standing before her. Her expression showed zero mercy. "Same goes to you Sara. Zero. Tolerance. I won't take your bitter rivalry so lightly today. So don't you two cause any trouble or else I will prevent you from taking today's exam. Do you understand?" She commanded once again in her ferocious, serious tone. The girls quickly nodded, frightened.

"Y-Y-Yes Ms. Genka!"

The teacher then cheerfully smiled, then walked back to her desk to stand in front of it and face the class. "Speaking of exam, I am sure everyone is aware that today is the day of the final combat exam, yes?"

"Yes Ms. Genka!" The class responded.

"Well, let's not waste anymore time, shall we? Let's begin the exam."

The classroom then looked at each other in surprise and confusion. "R-Right now?"

"At this moment?"

"They aren't playing around today."

"Not a chance to study or review."

Those were some of the murmurs the classroom echoed from student to student. Ms. Genka chuckled at the class's reactions. She turned around and walked behind her desk. She got out a piece of paper. "This is a list of teams the district has assigned. Two teams will go at a time. The teams will be in groups of 5, so listen carefully for your name." Ms. Genka cleared her throat and called out the teams.

"Our first batch:

Team 1: Solisa, Aaron, Lazuli, Elsa, and Grace.

Team 2: Sara, Anton, Millicent, Willow, and Kelon.

If your name has been called, please stand up and come with me."

Solisa and Sara stood up as told, then looked at each other exchanging glares of death. They mentally growled at each other in their thoughts.

Elsa heard her name being called and, putting the textbook down, had stood up and walked to where Ms. Genka told her to go. I get to fight Sissy face. Good. She'll regret ever being rude to Solisa at all..., she thought, smirking at seeing Sara be on the opposite team. She was gonna have fun with this.

Edited by KHUndertaleFan25

Grace close her book when she heard her name called out and gets up. She goes to Solisa and stand next. She looks at her with a smile on her face. Then, she looks at Elsa who had her Gaster Blaster shot Sara in the butt.

Laz was pleasantly surprised the pretty teacher rushed through the roll call.  Good, cause I don't think I can last much longer, she thought, even though she had only been there a few minutes.  When Genka called the last name, Solisa made a snide remark which made her and a few others chuckle.  That was interrupted though when a loud *crack* echoed.

"Solisa. I will not have any tolerance on your behavior today, so stop this behavior now. Understand?" Ms. Genka demanded ominously.  Solisa obliged and Sara snickered and was about to give her own rude remark, which caused another *crack.*  "Same goes to you Sara. Zero. Tolerance. I won't take your bitter rivalry so lightly today. So don't you two cause any trouble or else I will prevent you from taking today's exam. Do you understand?"

The blonde nodded in fear, and Laz thought, Heh, typical poser; act all tough and then cower at the slightest threat.  Though, the bluenette was secretly glad that she wasn't the only one that was a bit afraid of the teacher.  At least I'm good at hiding it.

After that little fiasco, Ms. Genka exclaimed that the exam was going to take place shortly.  YES!  FINALLY!  the Anthos mentally cheered and stood up, way too excited to remain sitting.  She wasn't even paying attention to what was being said until some of the students, including Solisa, Sara, and that Technos boy stood up and got into groups.  "Eh?  What's happenin'?" Laz mumbled.

All eyes were on the students... the exams were beginning. And Aaron wasn't more ready than this.

After slipping on his hood and slicking back his hair, Aaron checked his Bind Brace - a secret experiment by a special group of Technos... one that allowed him to dematerialize weapons and conjure them again from the air. Two jewels attached to the only open slots in the bracelet, one glistening a sparkling gold and one crimson. His eyes beamed a strong, bright yellow, shining and unwavering like the sun, ever present even in the face of the challenge that will lay ahead...

Johnny cracked a smile as he watched Genka interact with the students. As young as she looked, Genka had a way with the students that Johnny could never hope for. Johnny was way too close in age to these kids to actually try to keep authority. That was pretty much the reason Johnny confided his greatest secret in her; that he was not of this world (OOC: Johnny has been very good at using people's memories and knowledge of the world to fake his belonging there).Willow leaped out of her chair the instant her name was called. Her energy could not be contained. She was so close to being able to attain her dream.Willow, smile beaming, whispered to Sara, who was standing near her, "This is so exciting! I can hardly contain myself!"

Millicent was surprised by how suddenly they would be taking the combat exams, though she was glad that they'd be getting them out of the way so soon. Getting a chance to see how everyone fights in a more serious situation would be interesting... Remember Millicent, don't get too attached. You won't be seeing them again after this... After heaving out a sigh, the woman went back to listening to the directions. She glanced around at her fellow teammates as Ms. Genka listed them off. Once she had finished, Millicent stood up from her chair and casually walked over towards the students she would be working with. Two of them, Willow and Sara, were already in place. The white mage quietly walked over to the two, preferring to stay quiet for now. She was glad that this would be a team exercise. After all, her best work required her to be with others. It had been a long time since she worked with anyone but Eclipse, and the idea of having a few more people at her side reminded her of her time as a mercenary.

The thought of that made her get a bit nervous. There's nothing to worry about... This is a test, not an actual battle. No one's going to die, Millicent. You'll all do just fine. She silently encouraged herself.

Kelon closed his textbook, and nodded silently. He felt irritated that he was on the team that Sara was on, but he didn't want to make anyone mad, so he stayed silent about it. He had a feeling that he was going to regret it, though. He stood up, and went over to his team. He hoped to get this over with quickly and hoped it never happened again.

Anton was surprised when the teacher came with a retuning student, Laz.

Returning? Right...I completely forgot about her. But she returned right before the Final Combat Exam? That can't be coincidence..

He was happy that the roll call was quick and short, and that he was in the first batch.

Looking foward to the combat exam, he walked towards the people in the group- the others in the group were already there. "I hope it will be fun" he said, to the rest of his group.

A smile appeared in his face when he noticed that a white mage was in his group, preferring to work with one.

However, he was worried about one thing: So Sara is in this group and Solisa is in the other group. How convenient... I hope no one gets hurt as a result of their rivalry...

Sara sighed in her mind as she looked at her team. Typical. Just plain typical. "Oh yeah, I know right? I'm just bursting with energy." She whispered back sarcastically.

Solisa however was rather pleased with her team. People that she liked. Sweet. But the only disadvantage was that the Blue Mage was on their team. Oh nooooo....I'm sorry my love...But it seems that fate has chosen this past for us...Forgive me...

Ms.Genka then nodded and began walking to the door. "Johnny, you'll be coming along with me. The rest of the class can do as they please as long as they are in campus and, of course, school appropriate."

"Yes Ms. Genka!" The students responded. Ms. Genka opened the door and looked back at her chosen students. "Now will both teams please follow me? That includes you Lazuli."

In the hallways, all 10 chosen students were following their teacher and her assistant. Solisa was deep in thought for she was curious how this exam would play. A tournament to see who's best? A trial of obstacles? A race? The anticipation was killing her! She began to smile with her eyes closed. Sara, with her arms crossed, gave a glance at Solisa and smirked. "I dunno why you're so happy. We're gonna kick ya'll's asses anyways." She smugly announced. Solisa opened her eyes, then closed them again with a grin. "Yeah, yeah, keep dreamin' Sissy."

"Stop callin' me that, will ya Feather-Head?" Sara said while tightening her fists. The rebel then sighed and crossed her arms again, looking away. "Hmph."

Solisa chuckled while grinning. She slightly turned her head towards the others in the back. "So what ya'll think the test will be like?" She asked having her eyes open.

As they walked, Elsa was feeling great that she and her team were going to beat the other team. But when Sara said that they would be kicking their asses anyway, Elsa fumed a little, her hands clenching into fists. Then a Gaster Blaster appeared after sensing their master's anger and growled at Sara, their eyes glowing. She stopped the creature and said, "Down, my friend. You'll get your chance to fight, okay?" The creature growled something to her in response, but it was something that only she understood. After that, the creature disappeared.

Laz heard Ms. Genka say something about teams and bid her and the others that were standing up to follow her.  Wait, this is a team thing?  I thought it would be a one on one battle to the death thing, the bluenette thought as they all went down the hallways.  Well that's okay; I've never had someone on my side before, so this will be kinda... nice.  She smiled a little to herself at that; she didn't have any friends here in Aquila, and the few that she did have were still traveling way out east.  The Arabias... I really miss them...

"I dunno why you're so happy. We're gonna kick ya'll's asses anyways," the blonde poser said arrogantly, bringing the Anthros out from her lonely thoughts.  Laz growled and was about to retort when Solisa beat her to it.  Heh, I was definitely wrong about her, Laz admitted, I wonder who else I was wrong about?  But she stopped herself.  Nah, it was just a fluke that I was wrong with Solisa.  Laz hated to be wrong about stuff.  Yeah, that's it, cause I'm rarely wrong anyway!

But the teen completely forgot about all that when she heard growling coming from her right.  She looked over and saw that it was coming from a wicked skull-like creature that was floating by a girl with long auburn hair.  Oh, that is awesome sauce!  I wonder where she found it?  Hm, maybe I'll get a cool summon like that!  No, my summon will be even better!  Laz was too absorbed in her thoughts about what kind of summoned creature she'd have that she didn't hear what Solisa had asked.
