Nah, not likely. If they do show a trailer it'll probably be the E3 one along with bringing the playable KH 0.2 E3 demo as well for fans to play. Besides, Nomura said we won't get new KH info until December.

    We don't need a new trailer since we just got one last month at E3 2016. I doubt we will have anything new news wise least at SDCC. We will probably have to wait until the Tokyo Game Show in September for more 2.8 news, including the release day(s) of 2.8 in December.

    Most likely Tokyo Game Show in September or maybe at the end of August. But we can hope right?  We could be surprised though.

    No, I don't think we'll get a 2.8 trailer at San Diego Comic-Con, but now that you're talking about it, I hope there's a chance we might get a trailer, even if it's just like, a minute long!  But yeah, I think that we'll get more news on 2.8 come Tokyo Game Show this September! :3

    At first, I was thinking that some announcement would be made at SDCC, given that a limited edition of KH 2.5 was announced at SDCC in 2014, but with Square's marketing being focused heavily on FF XV and Deus Ex at the moment, we will probably not see another 2.8 trailer until Gamescom, which is August 17-21, at the very earliest.

    besides with what little new content we're getting, i would think everyone would want fewer trailers so as not to show off too much.

    Just a little correction here! Nomura said we won´t be getting new KHIII info until December, but he actually said we would be getting more KH related info in Autumn, most probably for 2.8. Many people expect a new trailer around September - October but who knows...
