Posted July 27, 20169 yr According to IGN, Gareth Edwards, the director of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, has confirmed that Han Solo will not be in the film. Would you have liked to see Han Solo in the movie?
July 27, 20169 yr Popular Post That's for the best. Han Solo in the original Star Wars scoffed at the idea of a rebellion and never implied that he ever had anything to do with the rebels before he met Luke and Obi-Wan. It'd be weird to include him in this movie.
July 28, 20169 yr Canonically it wouldn't have made sense in the first place to have Han be in it. As much as I love Han Solo.
July 28, 20169 yr 1. Makes no sense 2. His actor is like 9000% done with the role which is part of the reason he was killed off instead of living like in the novels
July 28, 20169 yr Pffff, why would anyone want to see Han after what happened in The Force Awakens? X) .............I miss Han. T3T""
July 28, 20169 yr Han is getting his own "solo" film anyway GET IT??? if I remember correctly, or maybe that's just something from the rumor mill. Edited July 28, 20169 yr by Firaga Sensei
July 28, 20169 yr Han is getting his own "solo" film anyway GET IT??? if I remember correctly, or maybe that's just something from the rumor mill.Probably just a false rumor, as Harrison Ford does not want to be Han Solo anymore. Also, I can't really see what a Han Solo film would be about aside from the regular Star Wars line. Perhaps after he got with Leia and had Benjamjn?

Also, I can't really see what a Han Solo film would be about aside from the regular Star Wars line. Perhaps after he got with Leia and had Benjamjn? I also remember that it would be a flashback story involving a young Han so Harrison Ford would not be required. ... Heeey, wait a minute. It's this. Edited July 28, 20169 yr by Firaga Sensei
July 28, 20169 yr But I thought they already cast Young Han for the film?Edit: Ah, nvm, thats for another film Edited July 28, 20169 yr by Isamu_Kuno
July 28, 20169 yr I'm not disappointed, since after all, Han Solo wasn't involved with the Rebellion until the end of A New Hope, when he decided to help Luke destroy the Death Star, because even when he was aboard the Death Star rescuing the princess, he wasn't too keen on being there, ya know? So yeah, it's good he isn't in this movie! Besides, we'll get a young Han Solo film after Episode VIII, so yeah, there's that!
