Something came to mind while looking at the different trailers and the games, and that is the similarity a few of the worlds have to Daybreak Town. This is a complete theory here but some of the locations that we have been to so far have had city based structures. Looking at these locations: Land of Departure, Radiant Garden, Traverse Town, and Twilight Town I have seen similar structures in the Daybreak Town images we have seen so far. So here is the theory: these worlds were once connected to the Keyblade Graveyard but from the Keyblade War, they got separated into these different worlds. I may be wrong on the theory but the looks of the locations make it seem plausible. Opinions are welcomed.

I was wondering the same thing. Daybreak town does look a lot like traverse town, especially with the other areas in kh ddd. Also the whole unicornus mansion theory could support the idea that daybreak town was split up into different worlds. Also lets be real, if the x blade can slit into 13 different things then why can't one world become a bunch of worlds

I actually had a theory that all the Inbetween worlds, are the leftovers from when the world was destroyed and then divided into smaller worlds.

The idea that it splits into several different worlds that all happen to be cities or have castles is just a little too far-fetched to me. Land of Departure looks nothing like Traverse Town, heck, it doesn't even look like Castle Oblivion or the world it inhabits when it transforms into it later. As far as I'm concerned the town just got completely obliterated and Keyblade Graveyard is the only remaining piece of it.

• Master Ira: Twilight Town

• Master Invi: Radiant Garden

• Master Gula: Land of Departure

• Master Aced: Keyblade Graveyard

• Master Ava: Destiny Islands

 

Master Ira is attributed to Twilight Town because Twilight Town is a world where a lot of "research" takes place, plus, the Unicorns printed in the Twilight Town mansion could end up having a relevant lore connection.

 

Master Invi is attributed to Radiant Garden for a couple of reasons. In the garden of Eden, the Snake is a prominent figure, plus, Master Invi is the most calm and collected out of all the Fortellers. Radiant Garden's flora can be associated with that calmness.

 

Master Gula is attributed to the Land of Departure, because, he's the youngest of the Fortellers. The Land of Departure is often depicted as a world that is used for learning and training. A fitting premise for the youngest Forteller.

 

Master Aced is attributed to the Keyblade Graveyard, not only because his element is earth and the Keyblade Graveyard is nothing but earth, but, Aced is a character driven by passion and bloodlust. Master Xehanort emits passion about the Keyblade War when he's present in the Keyblade Graveyard.

 

Master Ava is attributed to Destiny Islands, because, she's the Forteller that does not want to be associated with the chaos of the other Fortellers. Destiny Islands is the "small world" that is exclusive from the chaos of every other world in the Kingdom Hearts series. The odd one out.

Only those last three really made sense to me, it really felt like you were stretching for Twilight Town and Radiant Garden. What "research" happens in Twilight Town? DiZ's lab? It's only purpose was to house Sora while they repaired his memories, the only research put to practice there was the Digital Twilight Town, and he was likely building upon that for far longer than his time there, and even that wasn't depicted too much in the games. The only other "research" I can think of would be Vexen's teaching of investigative skills to Roxas that one day. Kind of a lack of real "research" if you ask me. This town seems to be more associated with lazy summer days and weekends and hidden mysteries around every other corner.

 

And Radiant Garden? Garden of Eden? The snake was never supposed to be the good thing about that story, you know that right? I'm not going to deny that RG is beautiful, especially back in it's heyday, but I wouldn't go as far as to compare it to some biblical paradise where everybody was pure or something. Maybe if it had a few more snake imagery, but I don't know. The fact that it has "garden" in the name and her spirit animal is a snake doesn't feel like enough to me, it's more like a really nice coincidence, especially since we never see a direct connection between her and the town (at least Twilight Town has unicorn statues somewhere in it).

 

Everything else...okay, I could kind of see that working, those don't feel like as much of a stretch as the last two where, at least in description.

Hey if someone can comment on a theory if they agree, then someone else has just as much right to do the same even if they disagree, as long as they aren't saying anything hurtful. That just tends to be my stance on most of these things is all. It's just a bit easy to get carried away when half the time there are simple modest theories like this one and then there are crazy presumptuous theories that people are so sure of before anything empirical is given. I'll admit that maybe I do it a little too often, but if some other random person did the same thing, I wouldn't fault him for it.
