Okay, this will be the official thread for our KH13 tournament from here we will discuss the details and set up the actual tournament. Depending on the success I might make this a regular thing. We will be playing the tournament via Pokemon Showdown.

This is simulator that also has a built in team builder. This way it will be fair for those who want a certain team but don't have time to EV/IV train mons.

Current Ruleset

• 3 OU Pokemon Limit (Unanimously decided)
• One team used for entire tournament(Majority decided)
• You may adjust sets and items, barring mega stones. Mega stones are locked in once entered.
• The Mega you enter must remain for the entirety of the tournament, unless you lose a match and switch that mega for another.
• Losing teams may adjust up to two members of their party. 
• Winners must keep the same team members

Each contestant has until Saturday to arrange and play their match. Any player who fails to do so will automatically have a loss added to their record. I think in the interest of fairness, I don't see why we can't adjust our sets. You guys are the ones wanted to keep the same teams throughout the tournament. I say we use the same teams, and same Mega Pokemon (If already chosen) but we can adjust sets and items.

Sounds good And imo changing moves, or items is like using a diff strategy, contary to have different teams.

I've already contacted Angel and we'll try get the battle done by tomorrow. If I can't do it, then I'll take the forfeit.

OK, Shulk and I should play today, I asked him and he said he would let me know when he's ready. Tbh he might be ready now, but it's just hard for us to come online at the same time because of timezones, and because it's a weekend.

I know, Venusaur doesn't look that defensive, but in the long run they can be more resistant than Blastoise

His Giga Drain and Leech Seed combo reversed a lot of the damage done by Heavy Slam. Unless I got lucky with Criticals, I'm still not sure if it would have been enough.

I agree with Zimomo in a way, but it's too hard to see "what if's"  here, I had protect and you had rest, it was too close to actually know where the difference could've been

Yeah, that's true. Both of those moves helped us keep our Pokemon alive for a really long time.

No worries I'm still here,I'm a bit busy these days so I didn't follow much of the tourney,but I should be able to do my match on monday around 4PM EST
