What was your favourite Gene Wilder role?

Young Frankenstein is one of my favourite films of all time! It was hilarious especially with the aid of Gene Wilder. May he rest in peace.

Definitely Willy Wonka. It's the film that I watched the most at my dad's house

Willy Wonka since, that's the only movie I know he's in. I've watched it as a kid.

Willy Wonka definitely. Seen that movie many times.

Definitely Blazing Saddles. I love that movie to pieces, and Gene is such a key part of that love.

"Well, my name is Jim. But most people call me.... Jim."

"Well, Jim, since you are my guest, and I am your host, what do you like to do?"

"Oh, I don't know. Play chess... screw..."

"Let's play chess."

I haven't seen too many Gene Wilder films, but out of the ones I have seen, my favorite is a toss up between Willy Wonka in "Chocolate Factory" and Frederick Frankenstein in "Young Frankenstein".

Another role: Larry Abbott, from Haunted Honeymoon

My favourite Gene Wilder role is Willy Wonker because l watched the film a lot when l was a kid cause of sweets and such. May he rest in peace! :3

The only film I seen with gene wilder in it is willy wanka, also speaking of willy wonka, why is there 2 chocolate factory movies? One with Willy Wonka's name in the title and the newer one with the same name as the book

Willy Wonka is his most iconic role, but I'm going with Young Frankenstein. Blazing Saddles is the best film, though.

Though I haven't seen all the movies on this list.

They are just two separate adaptations.

Well You don't say?

Well You don't say?

Sarcastic yet unfunny point noted.

There are two different TITLES, because the first film was made during the Vietnam war, during which Americans referred to Viet Cong and North Vietnamese forces as "Charlie" and studio executives were concerned that the original title would disinterest people who hear about the war every day at home.

Just watched Blazing Saddles for the first time and had to change my answer, that movie was fantastic!
