Few people seem to know who writes which games so this is just an informative thread. Tetsuya Nomura is not the only person who writes the stories of the games.
Although Tetsuya Nomura comes up with the plot, he's never been alone when writing a Kingdom Hearts game.
These all include Nomura by default but I just didn't bother putting his name into any of them.
Kingdom Hearts 1 (2002)
Jun Akiyama-Worked on FF7 as an event planner for cutscenes focused on both Yuffie and Red XIII.
Jun saw Tarzan and begged Nomura to work on Kingdom Hearts with him, he's responsible for some of the Disney humour you see such as Donald getting flattened by the door in Traverse Town. He also thought it would be best to rename Squall to Leon
KH1 was the only KH game he's worked on. He was given special thanks in the credits of KH2.
Daisuke Watanabe-Also for writing the scenario of Final Fantasy 10 and planning it. He wrote the dialogue of Zanarkand Ruins in 1 night supposedly.
Kazushige Nojima-A HUGE part of Square Enix and gaming as a whole. He's written the scenarios for FF7, FF8, X, X-2, Advent Children and Crisis Core. He also wrote the lyrics to the Hymn Of Faith in FF10 and Liberi Fatali in FF8.
Oh and Nojima wrote the story for SSBB Adventure Mode!
Not too important but he also wrote the scenario for FF15. Not a big deal .

Masaru had done event planning for KH1 and FF10. He also planned maps for FF7 and FF8.

Interesting how the number of scenario writers slowly decreased with each new instalment. KH3 may have a few more scenario writers (old faces and new) since it's a main title and the most anticipated entry in the franchise! Hopefully the King aka Nojima writes some of the plots for the Disney worlds.[/quote
