September 5, 20169 yr Atari 2600. Rob is kidding. PS4. Casper is absolutely right. PC gamers port begging for console games is superior compared to console games port begging for PC games. You boutta get flamed by every PC gamer here Graphically superior PCMasterRace is for me. Still salty about PS screwing me over the Vita. Edited September 5, 20169 yr by Clouded Sun
September 5, 20169 yr I'm more of a Nintendo guy, but I'd rather go with the PS4. I started on PlayStation, I'll end it there, too. Or we can let other people have their own opinions. I'm not taking away your opinions or your PS4 I just stated objective advantages of the PC.
September 6, 20169 yr I'm not taking away your opinions or your PS4 I just stated objective advantages of the PC. First off, I don't have a PS4. Secondly, every option has advantages/disadvantages. It all comes down to personal needs/interests, no option is objectively the best.
September 6, 20169 yr First off, I don't have a PS4. Secondly, every option has advantages/disadvantages. It all comes down to personal needs/interests, no option is objectively the best. I said objective advantages I'm very aware of the very few advantages of the consoles. The PC just simply has more advantages than disadvantages than consoles PS4 cause I don't have the other consoles and I feel more comfortable playing games on consoles. "But a PC runs the game better!" Yeah, well I don't care if it runs better. It doesn't suddenly make the game more fun or enjoyable. Cause that's what I want when playing a game, to have fun. a better frame rate definitely makes a already great game much more fun to play as it is less likely to have lag and drops that make the game unplayable 15FPS and below, and with the PC I can use any type of controller on it PS4, XB360, XBONE, ORIGINAL XBOX, EVEN A PLAYSTATION 2 CONTROLLER. Ah yes, because a higher frame rate and better quality suddenly makes the gameplay more fun... These two don't change the gameplay, thus not making it more fun to me. So why should I care about these two aspects? Yes, it is less likely for the game to lag on PC, but most games I've played (including KH games) don't lag or rarely lag, thus, I don't care about frame rate or quality. So, instead of focusing on admiring frame rate or high definition, I'm going to do what I want to do with every game I play and have fun. Edited September 6, 20169 yr by Master Eraqus

"Ah yes, because a higher frame rate and better quality suddenly makes the gameplay more fun..." Why yes it does has the game runs much smoother therefore plays better which makes it more fun, their won't be any lag spikes if at all, you can admire the environments that the developers created. Now I very much know that a bad game at 60FPS and Ultrawide 1440p is still a bad game, but a game like KH3 which I strongly doubt will be a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. So lets say KH3 is a great game, it would be much more fun to run it at a higher framerate, and it makes the gameplay smoother, and more responsive, the graphics much better since they are not ham-strung by terrible underpowered hardware, so I can appreciate the amazing environments, and how much cooler Sora's attacks will look, and with the much more fluid and less choppy animation it makes things all the more fun. I don't focus on admiring frame rate, but it is much better on the game itself to have a higher frame rate, which means it's less likely to lag which will hamper my fun playing an already great game itself, It's better for the game to run smoothly. Great Game+ High frame rates+ Higher fidelity + Mods = more fun

Great Game+ High frame rates+ Higher fidelity + Mods = more fun I'm sorry but... I can't see your logic with this. Yes, higher frame rate and quality makes the game look better and I agree. But it doesn't change the gameplay whatsoever, thus not making it more fun. If I played a level at 30 fps and thought it was fun and if I then played the same level at 60 fps, then I'm going to think it was just as fun as before. I would think it would look better, but it's not changing nor improving the gameplay. Thus not making it more fun. I have fun with gameplay, not with quality or frame rate of a game. I play a game for the gameplay, not its looks. I get that you're trying to make it that PC is 'superior', "PC master race" and all that, but you must understand this about my thoughts on frame rate and quality: I... don't... care. A higher frame rate and quality is not going to suddenly change and/or improve gameplay; the most important aspect of a game. Would it make it look better? Yes. Do I care? No. What do I care for? Gameplay. What do I care for a Kingdom Hearts game? Gameplay and story. Edited September 6, 20169 yr by Master Eraqus

It playing better. I don't have to make PC superior, It's already is superior even if you didn't care, I'm just trying to start a conversation man. I should say even if you don't care exactly wouldn't the option be better than the lack of an option? I mean you can still play Kingdom Hearts 3 as what the OP has stated, and with the PC you can use a PlayStation 4 controller, you don't sacrifice anything it's still the same game, but it just runs better, and plays better therefore you will in the end have a objectively much better experience. Which is why I question why one would still play it on PS4 when you have more options on the PC, including but not limited to as PlayStation 4 controller I mean the gameplay and story wouldn't change if you played the game on PC, you can still use a PlayStation 4 controller, hell if you really are feeling it, if you really want to go old school, you can even use a PlayStation 2 controller. Yup the original PlayStation 2 controller. Or a PlayStation 3 controller Edited September 6, 20169 yr by Casper Formadi

Yup the original PlayStation 2 controller. Or a PlayStation 3 controller Yes, I would rather play a game at 60 fps then 30, but if it's at 30, then I don't care. I'm gonna have fun either way. Yeah I could use a PS4 controller on a PC, but I'd rather use the PS4 I bought rather than my PC. "I mean the gameplay and story wouldn't change if you played the game on PC" Exactly, it wouldn't change. Hence why I don't care if it's not 60fps and 1080p. If I'm fine with it on the PS4 then I don't need any more. "don't have to make PC superior, It's already is superior even if you didn't care" Yeah through your eyes maybe but not through mine. I prefer playing games on consoles. End of story. I don't care if it runs better on PC. All I'm looking for in a game is gameplay. "Which is why I question why one would still play it on PS4 when you have more options on the PC, including but not limited to as PlayStation 4 controller" 'More options' being a higher frame rate and quality... and? As I stated, I don't care about these two things. So if I'm fine with what I'll get on the PS4, I don't care whatever the PC would get. "It would have higher frame rate and quality on PC" Whenever someone says this, all I think is "Big whoop." Look, I completely understand what you're saying, really I do. But to me, having a higher frame rate and quality aren't that really a big of a deal in my eyes and I see them to be kind of 'pointless'. Let me rephrase that, "pointless as a necessity". I don't really care about these two things and I find them as pointless as buying a new phone when the one you got works just fine. Edited September 6, 20169 yr by Master Eraqus

I don't really care about these two things and I find them as pointless as buying a new phone when the one you got works just fine. You say in this you would rather play the game at 60FPS alright then why not play it on PC, I mean the different in play between the PS4 and PC in terms of KH3 would be non-existent, it would just be a better experience on the PC. You use a PS4 controller on your PC, it plays as it would on a PS4, you just have a higher frame rate(so the game runs better), and a higher resolution(so the game looks better) While the higher frame rate and resolution may not be a need, you still have the option to have those, wouldn't the option to have them, be better than the non-option?, On the PC you could still play the game at 30FPS, and if you want 60FPS wouldn't the option to have 60FPS, be better than not having the option at all? "don't have to make PC superior, It's already is superior even if you didn't care" Yeah through your eyes maybe but not through mine. I prefer playing games on consoles. End of story. I don't care if it runs better on PC. All I'm looking for in a game is gameplay. Here is the thing though we are not talking about two different though where you looking for gameplay in a game would apply, it's not like I'm talking about you playing a bad game at 4K/60FPS, and a great game at 1080p/30FPS, now if I said you should play Bad Rats at 4K/60FPS as opposed to Kingdom Hearts 2 at 480p/30FPS then I would be out of my mind, of course you should play KHII it's a much better game, a shiny turd is still a turd. What I'm trying to fathom is why one who still has a great game mind you, a great game, but two different versions of said great game, where one version gives an inferior experience, and has less options even though they play the exact same, so why pick the inferior one. PS4. I highly doubt it will ever get a PC and NX release. I wouldn't highly doubt either release the NX is plausible do to it probably being as powerful as the PS4, and Nintendo fans being familar with KH, so of course SE and Disney will capitalize on that. Same with the PC, SE knows about emulation, Disney and SE both have games on Steam. In fact if Disney/SE wanted to they could simply make the game Xbox Play Anywhere which will give them more digital sales, then put the game on Steam to maximize on those digital sales.
September 6, 20169 yr Look, I completely understand what you're saying, really I do. But to me, having a higher frame rate and quality aren't that really a big of a deal in my eyes and I see them to be kind of 'pointless'. Let me rephrase that, "pointless as a necessity". It playing better. Eh, the frame rate of a game is a subjective matter, since it's something that doesn't really matter until you actually get used to it all the time. In which case, PC gamers are constantly fed, to the point where it becomes the norm. Which is fantastic. And then it sounds absolutely insane to go back. In my opinion, the more you can appreciate the beauty of the game with a higher frame rate and higher resolution, the more enjoyable the experience, among other things, but not everyone has that mindset. They just play because the gameplay or the story is fun. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ My problem is Sony's business practices and lack of original, exclusive, epic games *pun intended* after I just bought all their damn consoles for the most part. But that's another story...
If you could pick any platform to play Kingdom Hearts 3 on, which would you choose?
Wii U because then I would have to play money for a whole other console.
