I had a bath and did some stuff and then continued. Sora’s cleared Notre Dame too now.
In that time, Riku also progressed quite nicely and is up to the boss of the next stage.
Since the two of them are progressing at different speeds, the Hunchback of Notre Dame world and Tron world felt weirdly jumbled together.

2:41PM EST: Tetsuya Nomura has Tweeted on the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter about the 10th anniversary of the series, and the release of Kingdom Hearts 3D. He had this to say, translated by Pavlovic Sarah from KH13.

Today, Kingdom Hearts reached 10 years. It is thanks to all the fans that it has become such a long series. I am truly thankful for that. I would be very happy if you continue to stay with me from now on. Thank you for the the tweets you already made to congratulate us. We will keep on doing our best.

Tomorrow is the relase of Kingdom Hearts 3D. There are rumours in my surrounding that it is the masterpiece of the series. I also heard people say "KH is not KH when it does not kick in walls" as a (bold) impression. Be sure to try it out. This time there also will be a way to see the Secret Ending even if you play in Beginner Mode, but you have to give your best.

11:00AM EST: As of this moment, it is March 28, 2012 in Japan. This, of course, means that the Kingdom Hearts series has turned 10 years old! Exactly 10 years ago, Kingdom Hearts was released on the PlayStation 2 for the first time. The Kingdom Hearts series has come a long way since then, and we're very happy to play such a large role in the community. Sorry, I don’t know what that is. I don’t think many people would know that word... Do you mean the thing you can use when you play Monster Hunter?
The game modes you can choose from are: Beginner Mode / Standard Mode / Proud Mode.
I don’t think you can change once you’ve started. I’m on Standard.

This is very unusual for a Square Enix game. I think it would have been better if they'd had things come up bit by bit as the game advances.

It is pretty hard to figure out where to go next. Haha

While wandering around without a clue i finally got it.
I already knew that you could play both Sora and Riku, but it turns out you don’t play them both at the same time with them working together, they each have their own separate stories happening.
For example, Sora and Riku start in 1st District. If Sora goes 1st District → 2nd District → 3rd District and then ‘Dops’, that doesn’t mean Riku then is in 3rd District. He has to start from 1st District and go on from there.
Even if they are in the same place, the cutscenes that occur and the items that are dropped are different.
There are also parts of the map that only one or the other are able to access.
I Dropped during a boss battle and I wasn't able to calm down during playing the other character because of this… lol

It seems that you can choose between La Cité des Cloches (Lv.8), The Grid (Lv.14) and Prankster's Paradise (Lv.18).
Those are the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tron: Lecacy, and Pinocchio worlds, in that order.

Impressions after clearing the first area (Traverse Town).
It was pretty hard to figure out where on the map to go in the beginning, but once i got used to the game system it wasn't that difficult.
It should be easy to get used to the button connections, because they consistently make it so you get your chance when they go pink.
A to begin an attack, but sometimes instead you will need Y. Roll with Y and touch a wall or pole and ‘ping’!
Combat is geting closer and closer to the Dynasty/Samurai/Whatever Warriors games. Haha
The powerful attacks released with Y send the enemies flying, which is exhilarating.
You do not have to target enemies all that often, the damage range is pretty wide.
That said, you really do have to use your head in boss battles. I’ve only done two so far, though.
The picture quality is good. It made me really want a The World Ends With You sequel on the 3DS.

This is a pretty hard boss for an opening level. I wonder if I’ll be able to clear them all.

One 2ch user has uploaded a photo of the game on their desk, showing that there have been early sales, and implying that we'll probably start seeing some videos very soon. Be excited!

It, unfortunately, pretty much confirms the part of the supposed ending that I was hoping had been mistranslated... Also, the translator was lazy and left out what seems like quite a few specifics, so not entirely sure about the nature of things yet, but here it is anyway...

Xigbar: “Oh? Thanks to your heart, everything's gone according to our plan. The heart's a troublesome thing, isn't it?”

Sora: “Don't you guys have hearts too? Axel, Roxas, Namine, and that girl—in the emotions Roxas felt, everyone laughed, became angry, and became sad. The tears they shed are proof of that.”

Xigbar: “You finally realized it.”

Xemnas: “Correct. It is not as though our hearts had disappeared.” [insert a bunch of technobabble about Heartless and Nobodies and how this works I don't feel like translating]

Sora: “Then... then why did you trick them into thinking they had no hearts!?”

Xigbar rambles about Xemnas/Xehanort's true plans for the Organization, which basically involves using them as tools for Kingdom Hearts, and... making all of the members into Xehanort? Sora is appalled that they would trick their comrades for such a thing, and calls Xigbar out on that meaning Xigbar as Xigbar will disappear, too, and it zooms in on Xigbar's gold eye, and he states that he's already half-Xehanort.

Edit: They translated most of the other bit that Xemnas says. Pretty much confirms that Sora did indeed gain his Keyblade wielding ability from Ven -

'“That’s right; we did not remain heartless. There are differences, but [something inside us was trying to give birth to a heart? Can’t understand the whole sentence.] A heart is something that buds and is nurtured. The experiments to create heartless involved controlling the spirit and making people abandon themselves. But even if someone is made to lose their heart in that way, there will always be a heart within the vessel that is their body. We too were divided into heart and body, Heartless and Nobody, but I knew that we had come to possess hearts once again.”

He also says that most of the Organization members were unable to fulfill their purpose—they lacked power, they lacked understanding, they plotted rebellion! But that too was ~all according to plan~!

Braig says that Sora’s power comes from a connection to someone else’s heart, and he himself is not keyblade wielder material. But not to worry, the Organization will still use him as a vessel! Sora's all like, "I don't care if I'm not a real keyblade wielder! My power comes from my friends!" *cue cavalry*'

In the opening scene, Sora could still wield a Keyblade when Ven was still there. So, I kinda doubt he'll lose the ability to hold a Keyblade, but we shall see. Anything can happen.

SPOILER FINAL GAME IN COLOR WHITE:

Confirmed in Live Stream http://es.twitch.tv/dchiuch

- The Red Eyes is a simply minor boss shadow enemie, not important.

- Ansem Seeker of Darkness is another minor boss with 3 assaults.

- The Final Boss is Young Xehanort with keyblade Void Gear, he is the Mysterious Figure in Birth by Sleep: Final Mix.

First and second assaults is normal fight, but in the third assault with Young Xehanort, he used the blue light sabers and skills used in Birth by Sleep, and time manipulating.

After defeated, following the scene of Master Xehanort in the meeting room with the Organization 13.

Lea appears and saves Sora's body.

Riku fight in Dive into the Heart vs. Sora in Nightmare Ventus armour

Riku recolected Sora's heart parts.

Sora's awake again.

Riku and Lea become Keyblade Masters (Yes, Lea), but not Sora.

Sora calls a keyhole and goes on a journey alone.

Letters appear in the credits "K-I-N-G-D-O-M H-E-A-R-T-S (But not number)"

After credits Sora ppear in Traverse Town and play with Dream Eaters.

After this scene, appear Castle Oblivion and Ventus sleep in the chair.

End of game, no more scenes.

Just saw the ending...it wasn't as sad as I thought it would be (Sora doesn't seem to mind that he failed the exam, and is really happy that Riku passed, and when he leaves, he leaves happily enough. ) except at the end where he's in Traverse Town and seems a little sad that he's on his own now, and then the dream eaters appear out of nowhere and cheer him up.(Have no idea why, but...). But the epic part? We See Ven. Now, it could just be my imagination, but I am almost positive that I saw Ven MOVE his head up a little-just a centimeter. I also love the credits...we see Aqua, Terra, and Ven! Roxas, Xion!

But the really epic part is that during the credits, they give you separate letters that appear on the screen one by one, spelling: This leads to Kingdom Hearts.

Notice how Tetsuya left off the '3' part...

All in all, I loved the ending, and I can't wait to see it with english subtitles and the english version of it!
