7:59AM EST: Earlier, we shared a post from 2ch that explained the ending of Kingdom Hearts 3D. goldpanner have provided us with a more detailed translation of this post, and you can read it at the link below. Keep in mind that it contains major spoilers, and also that there is a chance that it might not be accurate. However, another site confirms some of the information here, so it appears that it might be true. As for the translation:

5:30AM EST: crimmyice from Justin.tv is currently doing a live-stream of the game. You can watch this below. The playthrough is over, for now, however are able to watch a recording of it below.

4:58AM EST: We have received many photos showing the Kingdom Hearts 3D box, revealing its contents in detail. These photos were uploaded by takaturtle from KH13, who created a thread here. You can see the photos below.

3:26AM EST: A post on 2ch has possibly revealed the ending of the game. While we don't yet know if this is legit or not, a user on Tumblr has translated the post entirely. You can click the link to see it, but remember that this is not yet confirmed. Also remember that since this explains the game's ending, it obviously has spoilers.

2:33AM EST: Square Enix have updated their official website for the Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Original Soundtrack. This update reveals that Disc 1 (of the 3-disc soundtrack) will contain 16 tracks, and also gives the names of these tracks. You can see them below. THAT ENDING IS HIGHLY LIKELY TO BE TRUE! Remember when I said Nightmare Armor Ventus and YMX were the final bosses? They were in the guide. The special trailer. Remember when Mickey says Master Xehanort, I knew it! I think it's real. That part from the special trailer is part of the final boss, why would Mickey say I knew it? He knew that YMX was Xehanort all along and just needed to

go back into his younger self! OMG! IT MAKES SENSE! IT DOES! COMBINE THE FINAL BOSSES FROM THE GUIDE AND THE SCENE, THE DIALOGUE, AND THE FLASHING SEQUENCES, WHICH ALSO HAPPEN TO INCLUDE NIGHTMARE ARMOR VEN! I think this is it guys! You get what I mean with the special trailer and all! Mickey knew about YMX and when he was beat it revealed his true form. Wait, that was in Famitsu as well! I got it, the ending is real! Remember the Famitsu thing about the true form, they just didn't want to spoil it. Yeah, you get it right?

    The next game in the series may be called Reconnect: Kingdom Hearts by what I'm thinking. I just feel like it will be called that, judging by BBS, Famitsu, Nomura, and the game. Plus the "short" secret ending.

    the ending tripped me the *Bleep* out!!! IT HAS TO BE REAL BECAUSE IN AN INTERVIEW WITH TETSUYA NOMURA HE SAID THE ENDING WOULD BE DARK AND HE WASNT SURE HOW THE FANS WERE GOING TO REACT! THIS IS CRAAAAAZY. I WISH IT WAS JULY ALREADY -_____________-

    We'd already seen in the Special trailer: Old Master Xehanort; Lea setting out on some quest that he needed to see Master Yen Sid about; Lea worrying about Isa's whereabouts; as well as Roxas, Xion, Ven and his nightmare armour appear. Plus, we knew that Sora would likely fall and Riku rise from the tagline, and Ansem appearing in Sora's heart does indeed tie in with the idea of his research being hidden inside him. This is why it's quite plausible.

    I figured as much, but I'd still appreciate a more coherent summary of the goings on in the finale of KH3D somewhere along the line.

     

    And pictures, if new videos don't surface anytime soon.

     

    I'd also like to see the end credits, just because.

    If that's really the ending then I'm so hyped. It also looks like Riku will be the only one to become a full fledged keyblade master by the end. That's going to upset a lot of Sora fans if this ending really is true. Also I can't wait to see Ventus, and Isa's back! This ending seems like it can easily be true and I'm really hoping it is.

    One of the last bosses is young Xehanort. After you beat him, he turns into Geezernort. Right when he tries to split Sora's heart, Lea appears. So does Saix and a new Organisation XIII, hood down. Xehanort says, "Seven lights, and thirteen darknesses. You will face each other in that land." Then he disappears.

     

    The last boss is armoured Ventus. Sora keept on sleeping, so Riku went to save him. You play a game where you have to put the pieces of Sora's heart back together, by hitting Sora's as they float gently down. Then you fight armoured Ventus there. Even if you win, Sora drops into the darkness. Then, Riku uses Sora's Keyblade. Then, Roxas (What are you afraid of?), Ven (What’s most important to you?) and Xion (What do you want outta life?) question you one after the other, giving you three options. After that, Ansem the Wise shows up. This is all in Sora's heart, bu the way, and he's there because of the research data that was put in there.

     

    Ansem tells you that those three's questions are the key to waking up. Sora wakes up, and Riku is the only one acknowledged as a Keyblade Master. When Lea helped Sora, he wasn't able to produce a Keyblade, but right at the end he pops one out and everyone is surprised. Sora leaves alone on a journey and that is the end.

     

    After the ending, you see Sora playing with a Dream Eater in Traverse Town. Right after, they show an image of Ven sleeping in Castle Oblivion.

     

    The Organisation are Xehanort's tools. It seems that was their purpose from the start. It seems like the plan was to turn all of them into Xehanort. It looks like Lea is now 100% your ally, saying he's become a Keyblade Wielder and everything. At the end you see him off at Yen Sid's place, probably cause he still has training to do.

    Okay I'm slightly confused. So does Sora just get up and walk away like nothing happened and leaves Riku and everyone else behind? Because that would be pretty damn weird. Or did he wake up in the RoD? Because that would be very interesting.

    Well he is in the realm of sleep and Sora and Riku are young there as well, so maybe that's why. I'm not sure what's going on with Isa, but it seems he's still working with MX. Of course this is entirely based off of the ending that's been posted, which has yet to be confirmed.

    Well im confused though. Should it have made him that young ?( his other forms werent) And ,since MF fought in BBS, how is this possible since MX was an old man and not in the real of sleep? Where is AX?

    I am about to have a moment here....((sora is my favorite character, goes to the corner and cries))......okay well two things about this ending...1.) it's not sora's fault it's the stupid old man and 2.) unlike ven, he's still alive and but did he get his heart split into two? Kinda confused about that.
