Kingdom Hearts 3D to release on July 26 in Australia (and July 27 for New Zealand)

EB Games Australia have updated their website with the Australian release date for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance]. The game will release in Australia on July 26, 2012. Thanks to Gardevoir101 from KH13 for the find.

This is, of course, before the North American release date of July 31, 2012. While we do not yet have an official word from Square Enix on this, it looks very likely that this is true, since EB Games have only just changed the date from "July 2012" to "July 26, 2012".

EB Games New Zealand have also updated their website with a July 27, 2012 release date for New Zealand. Both the Australian date and New Zealand date seem to be accurate. They also support the earlier July 27, 2012 leak for Europe, as Australia tends to see games released the day before Europe.

However, even though these release dates are highly likely, there is a small chance that they are not accurate. Square Enix Europe have said that they will be announcing the release date officially soon, so stay tuned!

Yeah, the local storefront confirmed it; she was actually intensely surprised they had the release date.

Dat's Australian prices for you. :P But they'll most likely lower it to compete with JB Hi-Fi which has it at $59.

We have intense inflation. America was a gold mine for buying stuff when I was over there.

They didn't for Kid Icarus; $86 at EB and $59 at JB Hi-Fi. Wonder who I'm buying from...

I'm guessing you mean $68. :P I always go to JB, unless EB Games has a special preorder bonus, really hate how EB price their games.

EB Games have had it for about a month that it would be released in July in Australia and now have changed the date to the 26th of July. Of course this can change and if it does it will most likely released the Thursday after with the rest of the world, but it would be nice if Australia got this one before everyone else. :)

User eraldaine has also gone to an EB Games and been told that it's 26th of July!

I'm from New Zealand, and I went to the eb games store to check the release date for here, and it's the 27th, so I'm pretty sure that date might be right http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png.

The game is 93 nz dollars from eb games >.<

Wowyou guys get it one day earlier :P

We usually get them after North America but before Europe.

But the 26th of July would be very, very nice. Plus since we're ahead of North America in time by quite a bit it'll still be the 25th in North America when we get it. :)

But this would completely stuff DChiuch up.

Australia will never get the game before NA. Why?

He puts the cool, awesome Australia we know to shame.

In Canada, it'll be around 40$ to 45$. Thank goodness I saved so much money.

o___O Nuh-uh, no way. <---- *initial reaction*

But I guess it'd be nice for EUR & AUS to get it before us for once. :3

We have almost always gotten the games before Europe. The only KH game we didn't get before Europe was Kingdom Hearts. Heck we got Chain of Memories a couple of months before Europe.

Square Enix doesn't say much about Australia, usually what EB Games says is always correct.

Yeah, I know, even if we have a similar release to Europe we still get it the day before, because games release here on Thursday and Europe on Friday. I meant for both, it's very very rare, the only cases I think of are MotorStorm Appocolipse (and it was due to the Japan earthquake everywhere else got it delayed) and New Super Mario Bros Wii (which unforunately killed all hope for us getting Nintendo developed games before the rest of the world again, because one guy uploaded the ISO to the net, bit of a shame, whole country suffering for one mans actions)

Yeah, all we get from Square-Enix here in Australia is the ocassional press release announcing a games release date here. >.<

Somewhat disappointed that the game is ready for international release, and we get it 5 days after Australia. Though to be honest, after years and many KH titles being released late, AU deserves an early release, and my feelings are just a false sense of entitlement due to living in NA.
