Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue trailer released in 1080p, reveals new Kingdom Hearts III footage

my reaction in a nutshell:  

The trailer was great I like that Erauqs had something different to say then he did in the E3 trailer and ahhh I love his voice so much I wish I knew who voiced him he sounds so familiar!!! Also I'm pretty sure this game is coming out in 2016, hopefully early 2016 and not like in September  or any of the months after that. My guess is between April-July.  Also I wonder why when they introduce like what they where showing you know it said "Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD" in the back it had Re:Chain of Memories and 358/2 days as well hmmm probably nothing really I just found that odd

That couldn't be Chirithy's Voice.... It sounds too girly for a cat with a male appearance.... except for that money pouch.... and that "Now in Development" for 2.8 is worrying me..... Geez.... How I hate that phrase.....

I am really excited for both these games can't wait till they are released

Who whoa whoa let's not jump to conclusions here. There's no way that KH 2.8 English version will come out next year after the Japanese release. Judging from this trailer, they have already started on localizing and translating the game into English. They probably just don't have the English cast yet to dub the voices for KH chi and 0.2. And besides, SE has been showing interest in releasing the English and Japanese versions of their games fairly closely to each other. Or if not at the same time in all regions around the world.

How can you be so sure? When 2.5 was announced, it was slated for 2014 and we didn't get the English version until December! If the English version is 'In Development' now so late in the year, I don't find it very likely we'll even be getting the collection next year. And if that's the case, who's to say KHIII won't receive equal treatment? I find it hard to believe they actually care all that much about consistent close releases between Japan and international. Square's concern is Japan.

I think they put the "now in developement" at the end because they are cautious. There's no way that they could put 2016 in the same video with KH3. As much as it is weird, it would indeed confuse alot of people who don't know how these things work.

The Japanese voice could be Chirithy. It's not uncommon for cute creatures to be voiced by women, even if they have a male appearance. Granted the Chirithy seem very neutral in look as a species.

Secondly, I didn't know you tell tell if a cat had a dick just from looking at them. And besides, it's not too girly, it's a cat my 13 year old male cat has a high voice because cat

So, we know that χ Back Cover is not exactly the same story as χ or Unchained χ, kind of a B-Side. We know that χ／Uχ is a fairy tale of sorts. There's a saying that "All myths hold a grain of truth". What if χBC is the grain of truth behind the myth? The real story of χ? If That's the case, they may drop the 2D chibi storybook look.

Yeah but at least we got 2.5 in the same year as Japan. ANd it was only a two month gap between the Japanese and English release so I don't know why you're complaining about English 2.5's release. And they have been starting to care about rleasing their games more closely to eahc other in different regions. Just look at the English and Japanese release dates for Dissidia 012. Perfect example. ANd SE has been hinting that we might possibly get a WW release of Final Fantasy XV. So the same possibility can be for KH3 as well.

So will there still be more KH info from TGS this week? Or is this pretty much it now? That Nomura interview can't come soon enough!

I just realize that Birth by Sleep 0.2 was created by same engine with Kingdom Hearts 3. As usual, I never care how graphic it is. But,God, I really love Kingdom Hearts new graphic. Unfortunately, I have no ps4 for now.

Im in the same boat. i havent felt the need to buy one really. i was going to wait for FFXV to come out next year, but now it looks like im going to need one by the spring.
