In commemoration of the 3rd Kingdom Hearts Union χ Anniversary, Nomura has released a message thanking players for playing Kingdom Hearts Union χ! He has also announced the Kingdom Hearts III mini-games, Classic Kingdom, has arrived to Kingdom Hearts Union χ! Read Nomura's translated statement below.



In this limited quest, complete the Kingdom Hearts III Classic mini-games with high scores and receive the Starlight Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts III!
 
 



 
Update[september 6, 2018]: New content has been updated for Kingdom Hearts Union χ3 (ex-tres) mode has been added to version 3.0.0. χ3's design was created to imitate Sora's menu screen on his device in Kingdom Hearts III. Through the χ3 menu, players can access the Classic Kingdom mini-games and the new communication feature.
 
 




 
The Classic Kingdom mini-games are available through the χ3 menu. There are five mini-games available to play: Giantland, The Musical Farmer, The Karnival Kid, The Barnyard Battle, and Fishin' Frenzy. High scores are required to attain the Starlight Keyblade product code for Kingdom Hearts III. Players are allowed many attempts to get a high score for the Starlight Keyblade limited quest, but only until the quest deadline.
 
 
 




A new communication feature has been added to Kingdom Hearts Union χ through the χ3 menu. Through this new communication feature, players can talk to other players across various parties and unions, not just their own.

Update 3.0.0 is now available in Japan and is to be available for North America on September 7, 2018.

The figures that are available in the multi-character sets are Black Coat Mickey with a Shadow Assassin and a Shadow, Space Paranoids Goofy and Tron with a Shadow, and Space Paranoids Sora (includes Photon Debugger) and Donald with Sark. The official Kingdom Hearts Facebook account is planning a livestream featuring Kingdom Hearts III at PAX WEST 2018! The stream is scheduled for today at 2:30 PM PDT, and can be accessed on Facebook.
 
Attendees of PAX WEST this year are able to enjoy the Toy Box and Olympus demos of the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III, releasing January 29, 2019, worldwide. Square Enix is also giving away Kingdom Hearts III phone holders, and have put on display replicas of the Keyblades Shooting Star and Infinity Badge.

PlayStation 4 Pro Kingdom Hearts III Limited Edition was announced back in E3, and although initially available through a lottery system, it became available for preorder through numerous Japanese online retailers soon after.

Kingdom Hearts III is going to be present at Comic Con Nordics. The convention will be hosted in Stockholm (Sweden) from September 14th to 16th.
 
Comic Con Nordics attendees will be able to access to two playable demos, although it is still unclear if they are actually going to feature the already seen settings of Toy Box and the Rock Titan battle as in the previously shared demos. Instagram users @funkopopitalianaddict and @catsara81 have revealed a list of Funko Pop! figures from Gamestop Italy. @DisFunko has posted the list on his Instagram. You can check it out here.
 
The list reveals a Vanitas Pop!, previously rumored back in May, is reported to be released on November 30th, 2018 in Italy. The list also includes Kingdom Hearts III Sora, Sora Monster Form, Donald Monster Form, Goofy Monster Form, Kingdom Hearts III Sora with Blasters, Sora on Meow Wow Pop! Ride, Shadow Heartless, Mickey, and Riku. The Monster Form Pops, Kingdom Hearts III Sora, and Sora on Meow Wow Ride are reported to release on October 31st, 2018 while the rest of the figures will release on November 30th.
 



 
Currently, there aren't release dates for the figures in North America or Europe. Stay tuned for more information!

In a recent interview with Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura, conducted by Everyeye.it, Nomura spoke about the tone of Kingdom Hearts III as well as whether clothes will have an effect on the gameplay.
 
Nomura also addressed why there are only English and Japanese dubs available for Kingdom Hearts III, how the selection of worlds are decided and expanded on the Gummi Ship portion of the game.

The Nendoroid Riku figure pre-order is now available from AmiAmi for a discounted price of 4,150 yen (about $37.34 USD). Nendoroid Riku is set to be released in January 2019. During Gamescom 2018, Sunil Godhania, Square Enix Europe's community manager, went on IGN's Live Developer Playthrough to show off the Toy Box demo for Kingdom Hearts III.
 
Besides giving us a good look at Kingdom Hearts III's gameplay, Sunil also talked about some new details about the game.
 
Sunil started out by talking about the Toy Box world and the fact that this was the first title in the series on Xbox.
 
After showing off the transformation for the Tangled Keyblade, Mirage Staff, Sunil commented on the number of Keyblade transformations in the game.
 
Sunil also commented on world-specific bosses and whether we'll find out about them before launch.
 
When using a Gigas for the first time, Sunil commented on the number of tutorials and user accessibility.
 
One of the most exciting bits of information from this interview came when Sunil went into detail about the purpose of Hidden Mickeys within the game.
 
The demo then ended after the battle against the Gigas, with Sunil finishing up by talking about how excited he and Square Enix are about finally releasing Kingdom Hearts III.
