Aqua may find a way to save Terra & Ventus in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-

In the discussion about Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue in the most recent issue of Dengeki PlayStation, there may be a hint as to what will happen with Terra & Ventus in the next installments of the series. As Aqua is traveling in the Realm of Darkness, she may have found a way to save Terra & Ventus in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-. However, as for what will ultimately save the two of them, we will not know until Kingdom Hearts III.

Additionally, Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series, has clarified that "0.5" was meant to tell the story of all 3 characters: Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. However, this was brought down to 0.2 to just focus on the story of Aqua and her journey in the Realm of Darkness.

Nomura: "Kingdom Hearts" to be fully revealed at the end of Kingdom Hearts III

In the special Kingdom Hearts feature of the latest Dengeki PlayStation magazine, Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series, has confirmed that "Kingdom Hearts" will not be revealed till the end of Kingdom Hearts III and the motivation Master Xehanort had for wanting to acquire Kingdom Hearts. The idea of "Kingdom Hearts" will be discussed further in Kingdom Hearts III than in any other previous title from the series.

New Dengeki PlayStation article features details on Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts 2.8

The latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation magazine features new art by Tetsuya Nomura in celebration of Dengeki PlayStation's 600th issue as well an entire special spread dedicated to the Kingdom Hearts series. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts III, and Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ were featured most prominently in this special, including many screenshots as well as several comments by series director Tetsuya Nomura.

New details on how Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover will tie into Kingdom Hearts III revealed in Dengeki PlayStation summary

An article by Hokanko-alt blog has provided a summary on the Kingdom Hearts content for the Dengeki PlayStation 600th issue that will be released tomorrow. Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series, has provided some details on the story for Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover and explains some details that will be brought to the story of Kingdom Hearts III.
 
Throughout the story in Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, details on the "Lost Master" will be revealed and then continue in Kingdom Hearts III. Master Xehanort's Keyblade will be introduced in Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], which then ties to Kingdom Hearts III. Aside from all that, the traitor originally mentioned in Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] will finally be revealed in Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover.

New Tetsuya Nomura artwork commemorating the Kingdom Hearts series revealed in the 600th issue of Dengeki PlayStation

A new Kingdom Hearts illustration by Tetsuya Nomura has been revealed today via the 600th issue of Dengeki PlayStation magazine. The drawing by the Kingdom Hearts series director appears on the cover of the issue, and commemorates this milestone together with a special Kingdom Hearts series feature. The issue releases on October 8, 2015 (October 7, 2015 in the U.S.) and will contain information about both Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. We will keep you updated as more information appears – look forward to both scans and full translations!

GamesTM magazine interview with Tetsuya Nomura discusses Disney's role and the possibility of multiple playable characters in Kingdom Hearts III

In a recent interview with GamesTM magazine, Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series, answered a few questions about Disney's influence on the series and the possibility of having multiple playable characters in Kingdom Hearts III. In short, Nomura claims that Disney has never stopped the Kingdom Hearts team from doing something they wanted to do. At most, they've suggested having a lighter tone or happier endings, but unique story elements of Kingdom Hearts were never disagreed upon by Disney.
 
The interviewer also mentions a theme to the numbered titles in the series, noting that Kingdom Hearts had one playable character and Kingdom Hearts II had two playable characters. The interviewer asks Nomura if the trend will continue with three playable characters in Kingdom Hearts III. The full interview can be read below:

New story update in Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]

A new story update for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] was implemented on October 1st. Along with a new story update, the annual Halloween event for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] players has also begun, and to celebrate the announcement of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, players have received a SR+ Meow Wow card.
 
The story update for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] appears to reveal some interesting details. Such details include what Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series, meant by having Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ not being the exact same as Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], however they are related. Master Ava, the foreteller of the Vulpes union, reveals that Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is part of an opened state, in which Ephemera is conversing with the player from another dimension.
 
In this story update, you will fight Ava and test your skills. After 4 turns in the battle, the battle will end. You only use 1/4th of your strength during the battle.

Nomura: KH0.2 BbS originally to be a part of Kingdom Hearts III

During his latest interview with Dengeki PlayStation magazine, Tetsuya Nomura revealed that Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage- was originally intended to be included in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts III. He further explains that one of the reasons it became its own game is due to an increase in material for Kingdom Hearts III.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories: The Novel has released today in English

As of today, Yen Press (a United States-based localization company for Japanese manga and novels), has released the next English translated novel in the Kingdom Hearts series titled Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories: The Novel. The novel consists of 600 pages and is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/4″. This novel follows the events after the first novel in the Kingdom Hearts series titled Kingdom Hearts: The Novel with Sora, Donald & Goofy as the main characters, continuing their adventure to find Riku and King Mickey.
 




 
Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories: The Novel is written by Tomoco Kanemaki and illustrations were created by Shiro Amano. Original concept was created by Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the Kingdom Hearts series, and Daisuke Watanabe, the video game's scenario writer.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will contain three titles: an HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts X[chi] Back Cover, an HD cinematic that tells more about the story of the Foretellers, and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage-, which is a playable episode that follows Aqua after the events of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. [Updated] Story update on Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] + Linking avatars from Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] to Unchained χ

During the last maintenance period on August 20th, it was revealed that a new story update would be implemented within Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. As of the maintenance period on September 3rd, the story was indeed updated on Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. As you go to Daybreak Town you will encounter a new scene in the game between Ephemera and one of the foretellers. Interestingly enough, it seems that the foreteller for Vulpes' name was revealed within the story update. The name appears to be "Ava". Along with the name "Ava" being revealed, a cutscene within the game shows Ephemera disappearing in the form of dandelions within your player's dream.
 
In the maintenance period, information on linking avatars from Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] to Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ was also given. Some notes on avatar linking is only one Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] and Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ account per avatar linking.
