Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show 2014 conference is today

Tokyo Game Show 2014 is fast approaching (September 18-21, 2014), and as always, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan are having a pre-show press conference, and livestreaming it online. This year's conference is on September 1, 2014 at 3PM, Japan time-- very soon! We don't know if Kingdom Hearts will appear in this year's conference or not, but there is a small but significant chance that it will. We've embedded the livestream below so that we can watch together!

Square Enix NA are conducting a casting call for a community Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX promotional video

Square Enix North America have announced that they will be conducting a casting call for an official Kingdom Hearts collaboration video, in order to promote Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX. The filming will take place in the Greater Los Angeles area on September 6th, 2014 between 10 am to 7pm PDT with the official Kingdom Key. New Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX trailer released for PAX Prime titled "New Features"

Square Enix have released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX titled "New Features", showing off many of the new features included in the HD collection. This trailer was created in anticipation of the game's appearance at PAX Prime 2014, occurring from August 29 to September 1, 2014 in Seattle, WA. New cards, abilities & event added to Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] following August 28 maintenance

A 3 hour maintenance for Kingdom Hearts χ has just finished and along with it, new cards, abilities and a Limited Event are now available.
 
New Raise Draw cards featuring Sora & Riku have been added to the game, along with the a SR magic Tidus card, as well as the Key Scene #18 card featuring Sora & Riku, which can be obtained by purchasing a Premium Box. The limited event is held in sequences. Players will be experiencing a bit of nostalgia as they do battle with familiar Watermelon and fireworks heartless. participants will receive rewards based on rank and completed missions.

The ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board, the group that assigns classifications to games in North America) have updated their website with a full rating for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX. Full Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX case revealed, back cover shown

With the Japanese release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX fast approaching, the game's full case has finally been revealed, showing both its front and back. Part 1 of our English translated Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] playthrough is now live

As you would know, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] is a social free-to-play Kingdom Hearts title that is exclusive to PC browsers. The game follows a retelling of the events of the Keyblade War, hosts simple 2D graphics and allows all players to become Keyblade wielders. Unfortunately, the game is Japanese-language only, and Tai Yasue confirmed last week that there are no plans for an international release.
 
Teaming up with our partner Everglow8444 from YouTube, as well as Japanese translator KH13 user SkyKeybladeHero, we have started a complete English-translated playthrough of the game, which we believe to be the first in the world! Our playthrough has all important Japanese text replaced with English translations, as well as a complete English dubbed opening cutscene! Today, we're proud to show you the first part, below:

New Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix screenshots from HD 2.5 ReMIX released

Square Enix have released a batch of new screenshots from the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix portion of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX. These screenshots showcase some of the new content that was added in the Final Mix reissue back in 2011. One of them appears to show what is one of the challenges in the Mirage Arena which roughly translates to "Use Guard at least twenty times". You can view them all below, in our gallery.
