Square Enix Japan have begun to advertise Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue leading up to its release

Square Enix have started running paid advertisement on Twitter for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, leading up to its Japanese release for PS4 on January 12, 2017. The ad details that the game contains three stories that lead to Kingdom Hearts III. Pre-orders are available on PlayStation Store, Amazon and other retailers.The ad uses the following promotional image:

No surprise now since we're just under 2 months away. Not to mention final fantasy 15 and world of final fantasy are both out now (tomorrow for 15 anyway).

And that's just for the Japanese release. It doesn't release in the rest of the world until the 24th, almost 2 weeks later. Those 12 days are gonna be hell for avoiding spoilers.

It's through all the Foretellers perspective. I guess they just picked up a random drama scene for the design.

Goodness-- I can't tell how hyped I am for this game! I'm getting it digitally because...Game Stop left us in the dust for us Puerto Rican gamers--

I'm aware of that, but in the grand scheme of things, Ava's been having the most spotlight within the X era overall. Surely, she should be the poster child for X like Aqua is for Birth by Sleep?

Well humans, the final lap is underway, and we're close to seeing 2.8 on the finish line! This is gonna be quite the intense wait, let me tell ya! It's going to be exciting!

Ha, that's funny, human! The owner of this account, Transcendent, is also a Puerto Rican gamer! He also despaired when Gamestop left the island! It's definitely been a cold year for all gamers, since Gamestop was the primary source of gaming over here!  But hey, at least there's still Walmart, Sam's Club, Best Buy and those other such places! Sure, the copies will sell out quicker than quick, but those places are at least there! But you could always just get it online or order it from Gamestop online too!

Aside the game focusing on Ava or not, they probably chose that pic because it's more dramatic, it really doesn't matter.

I will be purchasing a physical copy of the game.  Not only to have the beautiful cover artwork from Tetsuya Nomura, but to make it easier to share Kingdom Hearts with friends without having to lend them my PS4 for as long as it takes them to finish the title.  I'll probably take at least a month to finish this collection.

Final Chapter Prologue is just the title for the compilation. Aqua is the protagonist for 0.2 Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage.
