She's the main composer but a lot of Square Enix titles have multiple composers assisting. Shimomura didn't fully compose BbS or KH3D either.

No, he stopped directing years ago when he promoted Toriyama. He's producer on this remake and running the studio. It's a remake that's following Kitase's game very closely. In addition any changes or additions made will likely be criticized. Would rather make a new game over a remake any day tbh.

Well Nomura already got Toriyama's characters from X & X-2. Time for Toriyama's XIII series.
