  1. I CAN SEE EVERYTHING AGAIN.
  2. Got my Toradora shirt in, and it came with this pair of anime glasses. So I decided to be the huge weeb that I am and took a picture. It was my day off, so I look like shit.
  3. I personally use the, "I'm desperate" line. Works none of the time.
  4. All I got from this was "Damn ocean, you scary!"
  5. If an anime (or any show really) can be boiled down into a single phrase, it must not be that good. i.e. "Shinji, get in the firetrucking robot"
  6. Hooray! Lizard shit! Firetruck!
  7. Summary: Sora is a heart whore.
  8. Every now and then I'll look up Sambo training videos and work with them.
  9. Playing Bravely Default while listening to the soundtrack at the same time. I don't have a problem.

  11. Ich bin ein Berliner
  12. Something tells me that Sora96 is incredibly sheltered.
  13. Bravely Default has been pretty darn good so far. I have only one hangup with the game so far, but I've made a thread already, so I won't explain it again. Check it out if you want.
  14. I do believe that I clicked the wrong link when I posted my thread. If a mod were to be kind and move it to the Video Games forum, that would be awesome.
  15. If it's such a forgettable part of the game, why did they put it in then? The answer is, to make a quick buck. I could reason with it if when you bought into the transaction, it added a bit more to the game, or gave you a reward for using it. Maybe it would be okay then. But you pay (I think a dollar or around that price) for a one-use item that only lasts you one turn in the battle. I could really see a problem happening, like with mobile games, where abuse happens because someone wasn't watching how much they were spending. To my knowledge, this is the first 3DS game to have transactions in it. All I'm saying, is that they really have no place in this game at all. It's a system put in place to take advantage of the customer. I would say that this is unexpected of Square, but then I could point anyone to look at Final Fantasy: All the Bravest, and show them a stunning example of how much they've sunk. I will say, however, that it is a brilliant example of how the Final Fantasy games used to be, story and mechanics wise. It's done a great job conveying the story to me, without too much of a difficulty spike. It does deserve the merit that it's being given.
  16. I downloaded the demo as well, but never played it (whoops). Like I said, so far I've been impressed, and the micro transaction shouldn't take away from the experience, but going into the game blind like I have (I didn't even look up information, only saw a few trailers), it definitely caught me off guard.
  17. The art style is really pleasant. When you move your character around on the map, it’s like you’re walking on the illustrations of a storybook. The character designs are reminiscent of the Crystal Chronicle games. I’ve played about half an hour into it and it does seem like a really neat title. One thing that truly amazed me about it is that it has the best implementation of the AR card system I’ve ever seen. I won’t go too far into the details of what happened, but that’s what has so far hooked me on to this game. The battle system is pretty neat as well, allowing you to take multiple turns at once, or storing them for a later turn. It’s a brilliant way of balancing out a high-risk, high-reward way of combat. One thing though that annoys me about this game, (Very slight spoiler) you get an item that allows you to essentially get a free round of action by pressing the start button to interrupt an enemy’s turn (for example). After you do this, you can place your 3DS in Sleep mode to recharge the item and use it again after 8 hours (so a typical night’s sleep). If you think 8 hours is too long, don’t worry, Square has thought it through for you. /sarcasm There are micro-transactions in this 3DS title. Yes, you heard me correctly. You can recharge this item in the game by paying /real money./ They even discount your first purchase to $.49, how nice of them. Why? Seriously though, why do we need this in the game? Yes, the purchase isn’t necessary, but I just want to know why this is part of this game. I would understand if it was a mobile game, but a 3DS game? Really? I might be overreacting, but it’s pointless to have something to pay for, “at our convenience,” in a title such as this. I would rather they take the item out. So far, it’s been a pretty nice game, but I feel like something like that is going to slightly tarnish the experience I’m going to have with it. inb4 "Well don't pay it then" Honestly, if you have that thought, you're missing the point.
