In Kingdom Hearts, Genie says that it has been 200 years since he's last heard of the Keyholes. From this we can generate the assumption that the keyblade has been around for centuries. My question is for how long has the keyblade been in existence? Where did it originate from? Who were it's first wielders? How did it's power cause the Keyblade War to occur? Somehow I want all these questions answered in a form of a new Kingdom Hearts game. Hopefully Tetsuya Nomura can satisfy my curiosity.

Square Enix has updated the official website of Birth By Sleep. Upon entering the website you are shown the official teaser trailer (the recent vid uploaded by gamestop and the one that plenty of us have speculated to be a sham including myself) and the bar above the teaser is a blank date showing nothing but the year 2010. However, if you type in the date 09/07/2010, you are given a free download of the PSP Theme of BBS. Could September 7th, 2010 be the official release date of Birth By Sleep despite speculation of a summer release? good point baylaust. the majority of the kingdom hearts trailers would have the Square Enix logo appear either in the beginning or the end of the trailer. regardless if its fake or not, i would have to honestly say i've enjoyed the tease. its now exactly 1 month until the E3 Expo and hopefully new information of BBS will be surfacing in the coming weeks.

LOL they actually put up this trailer on gamestop. the voice fits but I was expecting something similar to Master Xehanort's japanese voice. :-/

I believe the perfect voice for Master Eraqus would have been the late Noriyuki "Pat" Morita (Mr. Miyagi from the Karate Kid). He has that deep voice that portrays the wisdom and power from an old warrior sensei. I sure wish he were alive right now to voice him..

A friend of mine placed a bet with me that Square Enix would announce some news regarding the release date of BBS this month and that Square Enix will narrow it down to which month it's going to be released in rather than the 3 months of summer estimation. Do you guys think we'll be receiving news of the release date this month or will it be that common belief that all new information of BBS will be released at the E3 Expo in June? Just a side note, my friend and I made this bet to adjust to the struggle of having to wait so long for this game. If I win, he has to buy my copy of the game and vice versa. Only 3 more weeks till the month of May is over and anything can happen. Should I be worried? lol

According to G4TV, Birth By Sleep will be released on July 27th 2010. As much as I want to believe G4, I want to speculate that this has not been confirmed by Square Enix, however, I am having a strong gut feeling that this date may actually be the release date of Birth By Sleep. Although the date presents much more needed patience, if this is in fact the real date, it'll be the longest waiting period that any Kingdom Hearts fan had ever had to endure for a Kingdom Hearts game. I am a firm believer in saying that IT WILL NOT take that long for Square Enix NA to designate and present a trailer until E3. My theory is that, like Japan, Square Enix NA will deliver mini trailers of BBS in the coming months until they showcase a full-length trailer in E3 (like the 7 minute trailer showcased at Jump Festa 2010). As for the release date, I'm hoping for an announcement from now until some time in April. My gut feeling is that Square Enix does not want to keep Kingdom Hearts Fans guessing until Summer so there's the possibility that from now until the end of April we'll have some closure as to when BBS will be released.

The website is still there. It's when you click on the announcement that it'll re-direct you to the square enix main page. If you would like to read the announcement again just go to the SE's main page, go under "What's New" and click on "BIRTH BY SLEEP OPENS THE DOOR TO AN UNTOLD WORLD THIS SUMMER" and it should show up.

I'm definitely going to reserve it at Gamestop. I know for a game of this caliber there will be a midnight release so I'll be in line early to get it. Hopefully the pre-order item they give with the game will be those charms that Aqua made for Terra and Ven.

I know it's random but the first kid movie that came to my mind was Ferngully. I don't know if ya'll remember that movie because it came out back in '92 but I think it would fit nicely into the Kingdom Hearts Series. Couple of others worth mentioning would be the Swan Princess and Anastasia. Some of the princess characters could mold in as a Princess of Heart as well. Random I know.. Just a thought though..

I don't think June 1st is entirely accurate because E3 would be around the corner at that coming time. Rather put it in business terms. Square Enix would attract more consumers to buy Birth By Sleep if they showcase the game at the E3 Expo. Realistically speaking, were looking at a late June to early July release date. I'd be jumping for joy if the release date is on June 1st but I see that as highly unlikely..

A release date for BBS has been shown on the Gameinformer website. According to Gameinformer, BBS is due to release on June 1st 2010. This has not been confirmed from any source. Gameinformer is known for having good credibility on gaming news but I highly doubt that this is the official release date. Again this is not official news and this has not been confirmed by any source.

If Sora dies then his heart dies with him. If that's the case then the essence of Roxas and Xion would in turn die as well. Not only that, Sora's memories and the memories of others that are kept deep inside him would be diminished. Not to mention the connection he also has with all the characters in the Kingdom Hearts series would be severed. Who knows what would happen to those connected to him if he dies. It'd be a sad and terrible event in the Kingdom Hearts series if Sora had to die...

Going by what you said, if Twilight Town is a world of both light and darkness and TWTNW is a world of darkness, then what is a world of light? In particular the opposite of TWTNW and the light part of Twilight Town?
