Reviving an old topic just because I FINALLY FOUND A TALES OF HEARTS TOPIC. My god I love this game so so so so so so so so so much. I played the Chinese patched one, I LOVED IT SO MUCH. My bro is gonna get a Vita for this game haha (He loved it too) TAKE MY MONEY NAMCO.

I'm crazy enough to make a Dangan Ronpa RP _(:3/L)_

SHSL = Super High School Level. Also this means DANGAN RONPA. Well ok first of all, let me just say DANGAN RONPA IS AMAZING. If you need more info on this game, please go read this for basic info. And this if you have time and if its available. But if you want to know the story to Super Dangan Ronpa 2 feel free to read it here And remember to read the rules of roleplaying. Now that you (probably) read it, I wanna ask, is anyone interested in a Dangan Ronpa themed rp? I want to make it a special and unique rp, and you DO NOT have to know about the story of the actual game itself. Except I will be using the same villain aka Headmaster Monobear. Since I'm not a good RP-er myself, I would be controlling Monobear (hahaha) and give instructions to the RP-ers. --------------------------------------- Here's my idea/story for this role-play. PS: Said RP's timeline is set after the events of the first 2 dangan ronpa games. Story: Hope's Peak Academy, a former school that accepted only students who had the best of talents. Unfortunately, after The Worst, Most Despair-inducing Incident in the History of Mankind, the school was no longer used. Recently, 2 incidents involving the 2 different batches of students (15 each) were "invited" to Hope's Peak Academy, where they had to murder to graduate. But the students cooperated and succeeded in escaping despair, and is now bringing hope to mankind. Everyone thought it was over...but was it? Nope. It seems like a new batch of students just got invited to Hope's Peak Academy. And the one who summoned them is none other than Monobear himself. But it looks like the mastermind this time around is different.. So, will the students murder each other to graduate? Or will they choose to cooperate to escape? Will they choose to give in to despair, or choose to follow hope? ---------------------------------------- How the RP will work: Since this is a Dangan Ronpa-style/themed RP, I will only be accepting 15 RP-ers. First come first serve. Character when you create your character, please. NO TAKING A PICTURE FROM A RANDOM PLACE/SITE. This is really disrespectful to the original artist. Character art It has to be created by you. Or if you don't know how to draw it out, please describe the character. I'll attempt to sketch it out. But please, Strictly NO USING OTHER PEOPLE'S PICTURES WITHOUT ASKING. I'm sorry if this is really inconvinient to anyone orz. This is the dangan ronpa 1 character arts if you wanna see how crazy you can go at character designing. And yes the most left one is a woman, and it is even VOICED by a woman. And the 3rd one from the right is a male. In a skirt. SO yeah go wild with your imagination o/ The form should be like this: Name: (Asian/Western names are accepted. Punny names are accepted too. But make sure it has a last name and first name.) Age: At least 16, max 20. It is a high school after all Title : (example: Super High School Level lazy-ass) Be creative with this ok. It can also affect the RP, so yes it is important. Appearace: Personality: Likes and Dislikes: P/S: I forgot to say that everyone's characters will have their memories wiped at the beginning, and will only remember their basic info above. So I advise you to think of a back story, and reveal it slowly as the RP progresses. lol yes its hard isn't it orz; During RP: I'm trying to make this RP special and different, so please read carefully so you don't get confused.. (I'm bad at explaining) This RP is set in a school. There are a total of 5 floors, and you start with floor one. The other floors and certain areas are only unlocked after certain events (floors are unlocked through solving a murder in the game, so I'll do the same) I'll post the maps in the real RP thread (if it ever starts haha) Dorm rooms and the cafeteria are in a different area, and are always available. As I said before, I'm a bad RP-er, so I'm Monobear for this RP /shot. Monobear's duty is to inform RP-ers when a murder happened, and sometimes give hints during investigations. Sometimes Monobear will also accidentally drop hints of his/her real identity, and it is the RP-ers job to figure it out, and end this despair-filled RP. This RP actually requires a lot of interaction between the RP-ers. So I will create a chat room for this RP. Chats/Interactions can be pasted here. But investigation process must be written as a paragraph on a post, not at the chat room. Also please no spamming or anything. Try to keep on topic, and let the other RP-ers have a chance at talking too, like real life students talking at school, ok? And don't be rude! (I'll put a list of alternate words you can use for swearing haha. Something Awful's special terms of swearing are fun.) Murdering someone does not mean you can auto-graduate. You have to go through investigations and "school trials". School Trials will be held after enough evidence is gathered by everyone, and the Judge is Monobear. The RP-ers will have to vote who is the murderer at the end of each trial. If the vote is correct, the murderer will be executed. If the vote is wrong, the murderer will be able to escape, and the remaining ones will have to receive punishment (In the actual game, they will be executed. But since this is an RP I won't do that) As to what the punishment is, I...haven't decided yet orz. I'm sorry. More info will be given regarding this punishment. If you wish to murder someone, please remember you are taking a risk of being find out and eliminated from the RP. But if you really are determined to do it, PM me the target, location, how it happened and what kind of evidence would be left and where the evidence are at. I know this takes a lot, and I mean A LOT of thinking. But hey, this is what makes the RP fun right? Not everyone has to kill each other, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made in order to advance (unlock new floors). Eliminated RP-ers, I will give you the info on the mastermind and motive etc, but you cannot leak them to the other RP-ers ok? You can still help the existing RP-ers during investigation and what not, but those kinds of discussion can only be made in a private chat. So being murdered might not be a bad thing at all! ^q^ Also, regarding crime scenes. I will try my best to make the crime scenes (by drawing). But please keep in mind that I have a school life too and sometimes I may be slow on the updates, but I hope you understand ^^;;; Normal places on the map though I will be using the ones from the official game itself (Taken from the Let's Play). So sometimes if you see a character there you can ignore it. I will be posting all the locations on a floor in one post, and after I do, that indicates the floor or area is available to investigate. This is my first time making an RP like this, and there may be some errors etc but I hope at least there will be people who are interested! ^q^;; Though I understand if you do not want to take part though.. (it takes a lot of thinking ahaha) Also the story is made completely by the RP-ers! The story builds along the RP, so where the story is going depends on your actions (Occasionally I will add some plot into it too ww) The main goal is still to find out the Mastermind's identity and motive though, so I suggest doing actions that will get the story going.
